Visited Monday afternoon March 29th with my daughter to celebrate HOLI. It's near an industrial area off the highway, if you are not familiar with the area use your GPS. The food was good, had samosas and the butter chicken lunch. The Naan bread was fresh and delicious, they provided more than enough food at a reasonable price. The place was quiet and seemed clean. The reviews for this restaurant were glowing, so we couldn't wait to see for ourselves! We drove about 30 minutes to dine here. The service was not up to par, and I won't go into detail about the different experiences I had with the waitress (smh), because management/owner seemed generally concerned and left a message on a different review, see below. "Mam...we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. I am finding it hard to find good help but we are constantly training and developing the local available work force. We have come a long way since covid started and we are doing everything we can to keep team members motivated. We were having lapse of judgment at the moment we apologize." Would I recommend or dine here again? I'm on the fence about recommending dining-in but takeout I would recommend! You choose how spicy or mild . The space is very clean, simple and cozy. The owner/chef very friendly, kind and accommodating. My wife and I have been going here for several months and the food has always been very tasty! The owner is very nice and walks around to each table periodically to check on the customers. We are vegan and when we started going here, he didn't have a vegan menu. We told him we were vegan and he said he would make a vegan menu and two weeks later, the menu was made! Each time we show up, he makes sure we are satisfied. Definitely enjoy this place!! 5 stars, easy! read more

We recently moved here from California. We had a great go to place that we went to for many years and prior to that, we lived in a Phoenix and also had a great go to place there too. Kabob and Curry had great reviews so we wanted to see if it lived up to our other favorite places. Well, I must say it did. We actually ordered our favorites that we usually order just to compare. We were pleasantly surprised. House Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala both with Garlic Naan. Delicious and we can't wait to return and try something new. Their prices were no more then any other Indian Restaurant and they were very nice people. They were a bit slammed that night so we did end up waiting a bit for our food. Fantastic Indian food. We ate there for dinner for our date night. We were greeted with complementary paladins (lentil spiced wafers) that the chef serves with a yummy tamarind mint sauce. For our appetizer, we ordered the goat cheese kebabs which we devoured. He served it with a mango sauce that paired well with the fried goat cheese to make the perfect bite. The naan flat bread was exceptionally good with just the slightest hint of saltiness from a bit of butter. My husband played it safe with the butter chicken which was a tomato based curry, so good over rice with the perfect amount of heat. I got the Baughn ka bhartha which is eggplant roasted in clay oven, then chopped and sautéed with fresh tomato and ginger. So good. Did not have the mushy overcooked mistake that most cooks do when cooking eggplant. The chef told me he prepares it differently than most Indian restaurants you'd encounter, and that it was from the Punjabe region. The chef was kind enough to offer to remake our dishes milder if we desired, but we were happy with what we got. So this is definitely the place to give new dishes a try! My husband and I went for the first time last night and were absolutely thrilled at the gem that we found. We tried two different curries and a starter that were so so tasty. The chef/owner came out and spoke to us and he was so kind. We got the fried cheese dumpling dessert and were blown away at how delightful it was. I've had three meals here--two in the restaurant and one carry out. This is the best Indian food to be had in the Jackson area, both in terms of variety of choices and quality of preparation. It's on par with food from Indian restaurants in bigger cities. You're rolling the dice on table service, though, because sometimes they're understaffed. Best to call ahead to let them know you're coming or do carry out. I really want this place to succeed! read more

The food at kebab & curry is so fresh & done so well. The chef ( who is also the owner) is always so welcoming & blends flavors in a delicious way. The servers are attentive & helpful if you have any questions about the menu! I haven't eaten a lot of Indian food in my life & don't eat a lot of spicy food, but they will prepare your meal with as much or as little spice as you would like; I wasn't sure if I liked Indian food before I tried it, but I love it! the homemade naan bread is amazing! We had to wait 5 minutes for some one to show and greet us. After that a guy showed up and said what's up. We sat for minutes and no one showed to at least bring water. We left the place. If there was a zero star, I would have given them that. read more

Delicious. Homemade type Indian food. Not too spicy. But chef will make it how you like it.

We love this place, and are there about once a week. There is now indoor seating. Although we have liked everything we have ever ordered , there is a new lunch and dinner menu that provides samples of a salad and a veggie dish. All very good, but one of the veggie dishes proved too hot for 1 member of our group. We almost always start with the samosas, the hubby loves the garlic or onion Naan. The service has always been right on, and often the chef (and owner) will come out and talk to you. You can order hotness from mild to hot (hubby - mild, me - medium). Never disappointed. read more

Just wow! This place absolutely over-delivered in every way. 1) DO NOT LET THE PARKING LOT FOOL YOU! The inside is clean, comfortable, and the wonderful smells absolutely make your mouth water the instant you walk in the door. As a carnivore, I'll say all their meat dishes are top notch! Great place for Indian cuisine in Madison. They have a lunch buffet and regular menu dining for dinner. On Friday and Saturday evenings they also have the buffet. Very friendly and courteous staff. The flavors and spices are spot on. Highly recommended for ethnic food lovers. read more

Just popped in while I was back in town for the holidays and this place was incredible! It's just as flavorful and authentic as the Indian food I've had out in San Francisco & there were a ton of vegan options that were all tasty as well. Each dish was clearly labeled with every ingredient which helped a ton. The staff was friendly and the chef came out to visit with us after our meal - we connected over some common Indian restaurant names in SF where he'd worked in the past which was really cool. I'm so excited to find a good, new Indian restaurant near Madison! Indian food is my favorite ethnic food. And I like this place. I've been here twice now: once for the weekday lunch buffet, and just tonight (Saturday) for dinner. At the lunch buffet there was also an ice cream bar with 6 different selections of ice cream, coffee and chai. Tonight I had the chicken biryani, and it was really good. My brother had a Korma, which I tried and loved too. The owner is also a really nice guy. I would give it five stars, but I'm being really picky and I docked one for atmosphere. But they just opened so there's time to get that stuff together. I think lamps and maybe some partition walls would make it feel more comfortable than the really bright office-type lighting. But, the food really is good. I'll be going back (maybe too often). read more

The food is tasty, However, the meat portions are skimpy. I ordered a Samosa appetizer, a tea, and a $14.99 Chicken Tikka Masala. In total it was $30, and the little bit of chicken meat that was in the Masala was not enough to make even a folded sandwich on one slice of bread. It was as small as 4 chicken nuggets. For this price, I could have gotten 3 big chicken tender plates at any other restaurant. Yes I'm aware of the amount of spices in the Masala, but we were shorted on chicken meat. We are meat eaters in the south, do not skimp on the meat portions or everyone in this state will tell everyone quickly. Honestly there is more chicken meat on a Wendy's chicken sandwich than the $30 I spent. Flavor was good but needs to be twice as much meat. Also, please get your parking lot paved, it's a hazard! Also, train your waitress to be able to explain to the customers what the food actually is, she couldn't explain much of anything to us unfortunately, this does not help first time customers. A welcome change of normal madison mississippi fare with Plenty of gluten free options We ordered lassi (delicious mango drink) papadums (light gluten free crispy bread) , aloo chiana papri chant (served cold and little spicy but good), chili garlic shrimp (hot and tasty), and mixed tandoori. I'd say if you don't like indian food you will not care for this place...but we like to mix it up, and it is nice to have some diversity in the area... i hope this place makes it.
