I decided to leave a day early and called down to the desk at 6pm the night before to ask if someone would be at the front desk early (6-7am) for me to checkout early. They just replied yes. The problem, they charged me for the room because I didn't give them 24 hours notice I was leaving early. I was not told this when I called down and their website under info does not say this. I have left early from hotels many times, and this is the first time I've been charged for it. When I booked the room, they spend a lot of time explaining no early check in, but not one mention that they charge if you leave a day early and don't give them 24 hour notice.
