While I used to go there even though it is way too expensive. Last visit was terrible. My wife and 2 older children went there last night. Of course very expensive as usual (approx $45 per person without liquor). The service was as bad as it could get. Wanted to order more food but server never came by even after several requests. At the end went to waitress to explain about the poor service. The server was flipant and non appologitic When asked to speak to manager the server said she was the manager. Litterally as rude as you can be shlould not be in the service business. At the end ZERO tip which we have NEVER done before. Let server/manager know but no response . At least I wont be spending any more money at this place. Good ridance . Excuse spelling. read more

It's a cozy place with outdoor seating. Menu is simpler than most but that's good bc it limits your indecisiveness (or is that just me? ). 4 stars because for the price you'd think I'd leave satisfied. Anyways, came here with my son after his doctors appointment. We got the baby octopus as a starter - the portion size was a LOT smaller than I'm used to but it was food. The dipping sauce has a lemon finish to it. Chewy and perfectly fried. Got an AJA and a Dragon Roll to share - both of which were marked with a pepper for spicy factor but it wasn't spicy for us ‍ (honestly they were both similar rolls, only difference is the AJA roll has that citrus after taste that became bitter if not rinsed with a drink or another roll for us). Dragon roll was nice, crispy and no hint of spice. We were still hungry after eating (which is weird because sushi is normally filling for us for an appetizer and a roll each ) So we ordered pork gyoza, chicken robata, and shrimp robata to supplement our appetite. Pork gyoza - it's petite and perfectly crisp... but for basically $2 for one I feel like it's overpriced. There wasn't much "special" about it to me to warrant the higher price. Although to some it may be worth it.... Robata - for $4 for a skewer.... you'd expect it to not be overlooked. The chicken was dry - extremely so and the sauce helped cover that fact but didn't fix it. The shrimp was perfectly cooked so at least that one wasn't hard to eat... So the food is gone and we're still hungry... time to find someplace else to grab a snack to curb this hunger. read more

I struggled with what to rate Ke-uH but had to stick with 3 stars. My party started with the truffle edamame and the pop roll, delicious flavor for both items and would order them again. If I had stopped here, I would have rated them 4 stars. Unfortunately that did not happen and we went on to order sashimi. A large assortment was ordered including toro, salmon, ebi, ikura, etc. and this was the disappointment. All of the pieces were COLD, not frozen thankfully but just slightly thawed. Everything tasted fresh but the temperature was extremely poor and should not have been served. I would still dine here again, however, I would stick with rolls and cooked food only. Another thing to note is that the portions are small for the price. It is more of a "tapas" style sushi place. read more

We are regulars at Ke-uH and this place is always on point. The food is always great and the staff is very friendly. Love having a place like this near home. read more

Great food, service and environment for dinner. Eggplant chips and sashimi were very tasty as appetizers. The salmon was very well made. Recommended. read more

I'm so envious that Westin gets such a good restaurant and not Miami ! Can you go wrong with any dish ? Not at all! Everything is amazing

I love Ke-Uh! The staff is always so friendly, the sushi is always so fresh, and I love the casual environment. My favorite items on the menu are the crispy rice hamachi & crispy rice salmon. The chefs selection nigiri is so delicious, you have to try it. As for my favorite roll , I would have to say the Bonzai truffle :) read more

Nice place but portions are tiny. The fish is great quality, and visually nice. Just wish there was more.

Banging! Ke-Uh has nothing to do with a Japanese name but very creative name. The service was great, the food was great and the prices were even better. Go with the sushi bowl, won't be disappointed. Next time I go I have to try something else but will definitely be back. Venezuelan's taking over the sushi world. Great job here. read more

Five stars on the sushi. Very creative and delicious. Price is a little high for the amount of food, but the menu is interesting and worth a try. read more

Outstanding food and service. A little pricey but good quality is excellent. Sushi was delicious. Other dishes were excellent.

Ke-uh is always on point. The service is really good and I have no idea how they get my order out so quickly, especially considering how fresh and tasty it is! The decor is nice and not something you may expect in your typical Florida location. read more

Great place, unique menu, great service and cozy place. Great place to order different options and share.

Delicious. First thing that you notice when you walk into the restaurant is the amazing aroma of truffles. Wow! Every single item we ordered was really great. The truffle edamame was addicting. The honey walnut shrimp was beyond. We got it without walnuts, but kept the almonds and it was really just yummy. The pop roll is beyond. There were 4 of us, and we each got one, that's how delicious it is. The truffle bonsai roll, also quite good. For dessert we got the banana and Nutella spring roll. I don't like bananas but they ate it and said it was awesome. The service was really great too and their Covid precautions are on point. Spaced out seating and some outdoor seating as well. read more

Great food - great service and choice of indoor or outdoor. Definitely a go to spot I recommend the Bea Roll and the pork belly to everyone I dine with. read more

Based on our first experience. Whomever doesn't give Ke-uh a ***** is NOT a true sushi consumer. You can find a "fresh" sushi roll pretty much anywhere now a days, Publix included! But if you are a sushi hunter, and I mean true sushi, not just a sashimi appetizer kinda person and you are in the Weston area then Ke-Hu is the spot. Let Chef Oscar @ Ke-Hu take care of your sushi fix. If you leave it up to him, he will take you on the freshest Japanese culinary experience in the Weston area. From the sake selection to the freshest catches imported from Japan, Ke-Hu won't let down. read more

Went back again almost a year later, the restaurant has changed its entire menu. Sadly this place is going down hill. They no longer have any of the dishes in my original photos. Why does this always happen!? Great restaurant decides to cheap out. 1/3 of the menu is fried shrimp! We will not be going back. To the owner SHAME ON YOU. You have ruined your place by cheaping out!! To the owner: while I appreciate your response, I'm wondering if you have really looked at the pictures closely. The pizza is not at all the same as when we went to eat there last. The toppings were skimpier, the greens were sparse, and you no longer bother to squeeze the sauces on in attractive manner. Instead you serve the sauces in little dishes reminiscent of cheap restaurants that no longer care. Also, while you say you still serve pear, again, I have to ask, why the pear inside the fish was tasteless and not ripe? Tiny pc. Of pear at that. The restaurant now smells fishy when you walk in first thing from all the fried shrimp. Furthermore, as you say, you have not raised prices, but there is more than one way to cheap out that are clearly undeniable here. Smaller portions, less effort in presentation, and less choice. Can't believe you could claim you don't understand your own choices in the last 2 years. So, if you don't like the truth, you may want to reconsider your restaurants standards. read more

Ke-uH - Ke-uH sushi bar in Weston. Florida - Sushi Bars Near Me - Weston, Florida

I read all of the raving 5 star reviews, looked at some Yelp photos and was therefore looking forward to a new sushi place in town. I ordered the shishito peppers and the Chirasi roll. The shishito peppers were $9 and the Chirasi roll was $16. Not inexpensive, but based upon the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I figured quality sushi is always worth the price. Well, the shishito peppers were the worst I've ever had. Bland. No salt. Flavorless sauce. I had to pour soy sauce all over the peppers and squeeze the lime (thankfully on the plate) onto them as well. Maybe the lime wedge, if itemized, cost $5 of the $9 price tag. It was the only thing on the plate with flavor. Then, the highlight of the order arrived. I thought there was an error at first. It was the tiniest plate of sushi I've EVER ordered / received... particularly for $16. I was certain somebody made a mistake and either gave me a lunch size portion or half order. I had intentionally ordered from the main menu, not the lunch menu. What I received: 6 tiny, basic looking slices of sushi. It looked identical to, and tasted like, they bought a $9.99 sushi roll from Publix, took out five pieces from the 12 that come standard and "dressed it up" with a single fish egg on top. Um. What? $16? I'm not exaggerating. Tasted like Publix sushi on a bad day. If you don't believe me, go order it. It's just tuna and salmon inside the center, surrounded by rice and wrapped in seaweed. Nothing inventive. No exotic fish. Dry. Tasteless. When I mentioned this to the waiter, I got a line about how it's worth it because the fish is so fresh. Really? Didn't taste even Publix fresh. After I had already conveniently paid, a manager suddenly came to my table, apologized and said "next time you come back...If I would have known.... I always tell the waiter to warn customers how tiny this sushi roll is..." Why is there ever even a need for the waiter to give an advanced disclaimer / warning about how pathetic the serving size is for the price? In fact, I learned from the manager that there are other rolls with only 6 pieces as well. I suggested that the restaurant specify the number of pieces on the menu, since I don't think most people would expect such a small portion for the prices they're charging from the main menu. I saw some cooked rolls with Krab and shrimp served to another table that was larger (8 pcs). I'm speculating that the cooked rolls are 8 pcs and raw is 6 pcs, but I'm not sure. I can't fathom that this place will last. Sooner or later, the loaded reviews will be replaced by real ones. If they want to charge those prices that's totally reasonable... as long as the sushi is awesome. Friendly servers and nice words are fine, but I can get that at a hamburger joint. In fact, no joke, I was still hungry and went to "The Habit" directly afterwards. This was the first time IN MY LIFE that I ate somewhere and, because the food was so poor and miniscule, I had to eat at another place immediate thereafter. read more

The food is fine and it's a cool place. But I went for lunch and for $21.00 (tip included) I got this little chirashi roll. It was good but for a 20 lunch it's stupid and annoying. If I were to get a reasonably sized lunch it would have been at least $50. I need to get a slice pizza now read more

Finally amazing sushi in West Broward. I've been waiting for you! I absolutely loved Ke-uH. We were quickly seated despite a busy Saturday night. The menu is small but perfect, who needs a long menu with a mediocre output? Not here, everything is made to perfection. We stared with the tuna tartare which was made with avocado more similar to a poke. Itvwas delightful so we followed that by crispy Brussels which were flash fried in a light citrus drizzle and paired that with an order of pork gyozas. Yum! We finished our meal with two delicious rolls. Service was perfection as well. We didn't have room but our server highly suggested desert for next time. I will definitely be back. read more

I've been to Ke-Uh a couple of times now. Everything I have tried has been delicious. The Brussels sprouts are probably the only thing I wouldn't recommend because they are overly oily. I recommend the rice less salmon roll, bonzai truffle roll, pork gyoza, and truffle edamame. This restaurant is the same if not better than Asian fusion restaurants in Miami. read more

We went today May 10, 2018 for dinner. The food was awful. The fried rice wasn't sushi rice it was basmati with a lot of toasted sesame oil that I been burping for two hours now. Didn't finished it Very unpleasant experience. read more

Food was fresh and tasty. Restaurant a little small so wait was long but food came out quickly .

What an experience! After reading the majority of the reviews, I had a pretty solid idea of what to expect, and accepted the fact that this was going to be an expensive dinner. When you first walk in you see the sushi bar to your left and a narrow strip of small tables all the way to the back of the restaurant, where there is a patio with outdoor seating. The interior is decorated very nicely and the ambiance is somewhat sophisticated. This place caters more to romantic dinners than group gatherings. I decided to start with sushi. I chose the two most appealing rolls first: The Bea and Honey Rolls. They both came with 8 pieces and weren't that much smaller than the standard size of sushi rolls. These were cooked rolls with shrimp tempura. Both were delicious. I don't remember all the ingredients, but it had a much more refined taste than the majority of rolls I've eaten elsewhere. I also tried the Bonzai, Katana, and Chirashi Rolls. These rolls featured sashimi style fish. They were also delicious. The fish was very fresh and the presentation was beautiful. For non sushi offerings we ordered the grilled octopus, Ke-Uh Sliders, and an item called "Pop". The grilled octopus was phenomenal. It was extremely tender and delicious. The sliders consisted of wagyu beef and quail egg. The beef was incredible; juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The bun was extremely hard, so I ended up not eating it. The last thing I ate, which I could barely make room for, was the "Pop". This was very unique. It was a generous portion of chopped crab mixed with white rice, wrapped in soy paper, and dusted with red pepper flakes. It was served with this warm, spicy, chili oil sauce. The server instructed us to pick up the wrap, and dip it in to the sauce, kind of like a Prime Dip sandwich. Let me tell you, it was amazing! This thing was loaded with flavor. Everything worked perfectly together. The crab meat, drenched in the oil, produced an incredible explosion of flavor. This was a truly remarkable experience. It's definitely a "once in a while" kind of place. It really is a unique concept, and the quality of the food is top notch. Portions are small and prices are high-end, but the food is superior and will leave a lasting impression with you. read more

An update. Yes I KNOW you are a Japanese Tapas joint and you want to be cool and adorable, but your portions are anemic. I returned to see if there was any improvement in the service or menu after a few months in business and unfortunately, I didn't notice any. Extra points for effort and a nice concept but you gotta up your game based on your price point, even in pricey Weston if you want to earn repeat business and loyal fans. read more

Great sushi options, mediocre service (timelines and attention). Ask where the name comes from, pretty cool.

BEWARE: Management doesn't empower employees. Food is SLOWWWW too. This is my second visit to KE-UH. My family and I decided to eat on a Sunday at 630pm. By the time the waiter took our order it was 6:55. 75% of our food came out by 715pm and the rest didn't come out for another 40 minutes. By that time half of our party was done eating and ready to go. KEEP IN MIND, the restaurant was HALF empty: When we finally asked what the issue was they said "there was an issue with the rice, and had to remake it all." Not much transparency between customer and waiter. Not to mention the waiters kept bringing the wrong items to the wrong person, I get it, it's tapas, but at least try.. Back to the point: Finally it arrived and we asked to speak to the manager, she came over and said there is nothing we can do, she offered us a free salad.... why would we want a salad for a final course? The least she could have done was comp. the items that arrived almost an hour after the first courses. Needless to say we will not come back; and do not recommend spending your money here. read more

Where do I start? I understand that this is an Asian Tapas kind of place, but my gosh the sushi rolls are tiny! I ordered the Bea Roll, Hamachi Serrano, Pop, and Spicy Tuna Roll. I literally ate all 4 rolls and was still hungry, and get this all 4 rolls came out to be $66+! Don't get me wrong, the sushi rolls are flavorful, but the pricing is ridiculous. How is it possible that the rolls were that tiny? Don't let the Yelp photos fool you, the rolls are micro and they are not that big whatsoever. read more

I wouldn't come here for nigiri or sashimi it's a bit too pricey for that but it's a solid place for sharing small plates and rolls. Highly recommend the spicy honey shrimp plate. The service and decor is great. read more
