AMAZING!!! I'm so happy and satisfied with my experience at KD Brows. I initially came in for a consultation since I wasn't sure which service was suitable for me. I was considering microblading as I really love Katya's work and have seen the results on a few of my friends - they are all super natural and beautiful. During my consultation Katya was so helpful and professional in explaining each treatment and what would work best for me. She was honest in telling me that with my skin microblading wasn't the best option. She suggested a TRIO service for me instead which is shaping, lamination and henna stain. I did microblading with Kataya. I do like my brows but I think it's totally overpriced! I did my research for a long time and wanted the best. My brows looked amazing after the first appointment but soon faded. I also did my 1 month touch up for an additional fee. I followed all the aftercare. It looks more shaded than like hair strokes. Decided to try KD brows after my brow artist moved away. Overall, I liked their lamination and the arch she achieved through tweezing but my artist didn't trim my brows. I was mega skeptical . Read so many reviews and researched about side effects of microblading brows. I wanted to just make my life easier instead of filling brows in none stop. I reached out to Katya who was highly recommended by few friends and she put my worries to ease with all my questions! During appointment she explained even more and the whole during and after process. Yes it did hurt a bit but my skin supper sensitive. I loved the shape she did on me , and Whole Appointment took about an hour. I was a bit freaked out during healing process , it looked all weird and patchy , I was checking it everyday and just didn't know if it all was going well, but according to Katya it was, she sent me home with great instructions and some balm for the brows. The touch up appointment was a bit faster and less painful. After my brows finally healed and it's been almost a year now I love love my brows and how I now have emotion on my face and can wake up and just wash my face and go! It looks amazing! I just got a quick tweeze since it was my first time going here. I have naturally fine and fair brows, and I just fill them in with pencil after lifting them with gel. My issue with this place was the attitude considering how difficult it is to find. I drove to the address and was on time, but the sign is upstairs and the salon is actually in a storefront marked as a Japanese restaurant. After trying in vain to find an entrance to the upper level, I received a text that I would be charged as a no show for being ten minutes late. I replied immediately that I was in the parking lot and had tried calling because I couldn't find the entrance. The woman said it was the first unit to the right, and I was like, "The Japanese restaurant?" She was very annoyed when she did my brows and now they don't return my messages when I try to book another appointment. This review is to let people know the salon is difficult to find, they don't often pick up the phone, and you'll be charged for being late. read more

It was my first time seeing Katya & I am so happy I hunted thoroughly to find her. I've been getting my threaded eyebrows around the valley but got sick of not getting what I want (aren't we all?) My appointment was on time and she asked me questions about my eyebrow care, history etc. wakes me through her ideas and if I was okay with it and was entirely professional! Never trusted anyone in the past to touch my brows. Thought Katya was the Rolex of micro blading. Please do your research for your own personal knowledge ladies. She knew I was anemic, knew one brow was higher than the other. Her excuse was my bone structure and muscles. She doesn't care about you or your brows after the hour mark- rest assured she has time to do her own skincare regime while you lay there while she talks about other clients' undesirable brow preferences with her assistant. So professional! $1400 work. thought so highly of Katya and her work, but I'm just very disappointed with her nonchalant manner and attitude. Do not be fooled by the picturesLet's see some brows COMPLETELY healed, not fresh after each session. She makes excuses that she's running behind, or will fix at next touch up. let me keep paying you $200 for each additional session to "fix" what needs to be fixed. Begged her to add more strokes where needed as the gap between the micro-bladed strokes and natural sparseness was evident. I even asked if the new strokes would fade after healing she said they wouldn't. So my brows are uneven after the 2nd touch up + am not getting a further response for my questions and concerns. I listened to her advice,also gave her my feedback on how I want my brows.I was nice enough to wait +reply to Lily's lengthy text after it healed for the second time around. How is this normal? Katya told me my skin takes in a lot of ink. I have never heard of any artist say something like this.So what if it does? I'm paying her to fix what needs to be fixed.My skin is on the drier side, she confirmed the work would last longer vs. oily skin. Is this what you call above and beyond? I even asked her if the new strokes would fade and she said it won't. After further research, I found the healing process takes longer for people who are anemic. I was not informed of this.I have carefully followed pre + post care instructions. See pics for yourself. Now I'm left with not only uneven brows, but the color has faded into a blue gray hue. The strokes have immensely and evidently faded. If you can't control how the skin "heals" then have some control over your customer service skills + work if you care so much about your work and reputation - don't ignore your dissatisfied clients +master your "eye for detail" My whole point in doing this was to not spend so much time filling in my brows, this totally defeated the purpose - back to filling in my brows +getting botox to fix the symmetry. Thank you, Ms. Dimitrenco! Total rip off! Oh +you get the option of tipping upon being charged. :) So silly of me to be so considerate +trust her with my brows. Thank you for your response to my review( below Lily's initial response (when confirming price of $200 for each additional touch up) so now you're bringing it down to $125 on Yelp? No one ever mentioned $125 to me. So please don't indicate it on here that it became an issue to me once I found out the price. Again, no one mentioned $125- maybe you should review your inexperienced assistant's response before they send out a text representing you and your work. "She has gone above and beyond to meet your needs. Regarding the price, yes I am aware of the cost and once again she has taking her time every single session. I'm truly sorry you are dissatisfied with your brows. As much as I would like to help and Katya too it seems like it's an issue out of our control." If price was the issue, I would've never booked with you to begin with. It's not just about the money, but also the principle. I would've still booked a touch up with you had I was informed of the correct price or had one of you replied to my last text message with proof of final healed brows. I totally understand you take pride in your work, but this could've been handled in a completely different manner in the world of customer service- especially in this prestigious, competitive industry. You should care more about retaining gaining loyal clients, especially ones who have given you so much credit for your work even before experiencing your work but trusting you based upon newly micro bladed pictures you post. In regards to adding strokes on my final touch up, you told me if you added any more it would look like a TATTOO. It definitely doesn't look like a tattoo. You should respect your clients' personal preference. I am all about natural as well, hence why I do not want to fill in my brows any longer.In regards to my excessive bleeding, unfortunately I did not see any blood while laying there. Neither did I see any bloodlike scabs when peeling . You tell me my skin takes in a lot of ink, when you're basically now saying the blood is rejecting the ink from going through my skin, that doesn't quite make sense. I suggest you add a question regarding anemia when signing your consent form. Thank you for your response. I get that things happen but don't notify clients via text 2 or 3 days prior to an appointment that was made 8 months ago. Then I get offered a weekday appointment to replace my Saturday appointment when I work full time... hence why I made the appointment 8 months ago because I need to get in on the weekends. Emergencies happen and I'm not faulting her for that but the firsts cancellation was due to her being out of town to further her education. You should know more than a few days in advance to notify your clients if you planned to be out of the country. I'm back! It's been six weeks since my initial microblading treatment and I went back for my touch up. I highly recommend going for your touch up, you're going to really really love your brows even more than the first round. The first morning after my microblading, I remember standing in the bathroom looking in the mirror, smiling and thinking, "I got eyebrows and they're ready to go". It was such a great feeling to not have to draw them on. It was an even better feeling and such a relief to not have to worry about accidentially rubbing them off throughout the day. The technician was extremely nice and the establishment is very clean. However, my review is on the service. I received a brow lamination back in June and it was the WORST experience. It looked beautiful for the first week, then I noticed little brow hairs falling out I thought it was normal shedding until about a month, my brows were so thin. My brows were finally nice and thick after years of over waxing. I have like 5 hairs on the tail now and the rest of my brows are super thin. What they don't tell you is they're actually perming your eyebrows! When you have fine hair, they shouldn't leave it on long at all! Or simply just don't do it at all! I called to tell the tech what happened and she said I had a bad reaction to it and offered me 10% off a growing treatment, what a joke. I saw my dermatologist to see if what she said was accurate. My dermatologist told me she left that perm product on my brows way too long and that's what caused my hairs to fall out. My skin was not irritated at all. So with that said, I warn you guys not to do it! It looks beautiful no doubt, but not worth losing your brows over I'm so sad I have to fill in my brows everyday now. I'm embarrassed to even sleep without my brows bring filled in in front of my husband. It's so messed up. It's going to take years to get them back to normal if I'm lucky. After flying down to Los Angeles and booking a hotel stay I had waited three months to be canceled on the day of my appointment. What I could not understand was 1) Why did I receive a cancelation text and NOT a phone call from her assistant Jenni? 2) If Katya had been unavailable since 6 a.m. why text me at exactly 12 noon to cancel. Since I had waited around in LA for my appointment I missed the last flight out of Burbank airport, so I paid a change fee to depart from Los Angeles airport instead. 3) Why did I receive another text (as I was 5 miles away from LAX to catch the next flight at 3p.m.) from Jenni (I realize it may be difficult for her to actually call me)...saying that Katya would accommodate me and take $100 off? 4) After all of this waiting and running around to get home, you are now offering $100...Would you cancel your ticket and pay another change to get $100 off? To sum it up...I waited three months, booked a hotel, rented a car, all for canceled same day, change my flight, drive to the airport and you offer me a last minute $100 off and accommodation?
