Skin Laundry's equipment is clearly not strong enough for real results, yet every single visit feels like a high-pressure sales pitch. I'm honestly shocked they have as many good reviews as they do--nearly every friend of mine who has tried them has had the same complaints and has already cancelled their memberships. The lack of professionalism peaked when a staff member removed my $1,600 David Yurman necklace during a facial without my consent and lost it. Despite the fact that their employee handled and lost my property, the District Manager refused to take any responsibility and told me if must have fallen off on the street...... They were quick to overcharge me on cancellation fees (charging $50 when their own texts state $25), but they are incredibly slow to help when they actually cause a problem. The upstairs is for all that is cosmetic and yet that's not all. There's another spa treatment space downstairs for those that are looking for post op treatment from plastic surgery. There's a "Green" room equipped with a heated table and a stand alone tub to help soothe the extremities of post-op. Now I'm extremely impressed. Casa De Muñecas is a spa where You can get any and everything you need to enjoy a perfect spa day for yourself, your girlfriends, as well for us men. I myself have had 4 plastic surgeries and each time I went to Casa De Muñecas to receive their recovery massage treatment and therapy. I went on the day of my appointment and already felt disgusted by the location, this "spa" had boxes everywhere in the waiting room and looked nothing like the pictures. I was in shock and questioned if I was even in the right place. I get buzzed in and this European woman asked why I was here, I told her I had an appointment booked through Groupon and showed her. However she said I would not be in her calendar! Then she agreed to see me but I'd have to wait as she was in the middle of another treatment. She told me at least 30 mins.
