I have heard people raving about this BBQ spot and when the hub in Pasco went up I knew I had to try it..... I'm beyond disappointed. I ordered the plate with Brisket, the smoked beans and the rice. Sadly they had no biscuits so they subbed it for the pudding. The brisket wasn't too bad but not amazing, flavor was fine but a lot of dark spots but not a big deal overall. The rice was the first major hit for me, the flavor was fine but the amount of oil made the rice almost a paste and they give you a ton of it, it was a heaping mess on the plate. The beans were not bad, kinda hard and oily which was a bit disgusting following the rice. What really made me drop this review down was the banana pudding! It was the most chemically flavored banana pudding I have ever tasted, I ate 1 bite and questioned it, tried a second and realized how bad it really was. Needless to say, the plate is a bit pricey but they give you okay meat and a huge hulking amount of disgusting sides to off set. I was beyond disappointed and do not recommended this place at all! Been to this place a few times. They need to remove biscuits from their name because they never have any. I have sheen up at opening time with nobody else at the hub and they don't have any. Had lunch there for the first time today - when I mentioned this to the gentleman taking orders, instead of upselling the special, him and another woman, I assume the owners, both suggested the brisket sammich for the first time with a side of mac and cheese. I was so excited to try this place seeing there was real smoker on site. This made me happy. The person who was taking orders could work on their hospitality skills when working with people. I did appreciate that I could try a small piece of brisket and I could taste the smoke, but I just can't get past the lack of hospitality. I got the sandwich that had everything and payed over $20 and side wasn't include. He was upfront and mentioned that so that's on me. The sandwich I got was big but it a while to get with a place with no line my food should not of been cold. I didn't want to back and mention anything because of the hospitality. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered "The Rancher" which was about a pound of beef brisket, pulled pork and bacon with sauce on a toasted bun. The brisket was super tender though I thought it lacked a bit of flavor. The pulled pork was good but just a bit too greasy for my taste. The bacon was nice and crispy but not overcooked. I can't really say much about the sauce because there was more grease from the pork than sauce and that just made the last few bites a bit too soggy. For the price I would say they could probably add at least a small bag of Tim's Cascade chips or maybe some of their cole slaw to go with their sandwiches. This place would be much better if they made their sandwiches with a little less grease and a bit more sauce and maybe threw in a small bag of chips or cole slaw on the side. read more

Portions are really small. I was disappointed. Service was fine. I ordered from a nice older lady. The smoker smells great, and really sells the menu. The truck is at a great location. I've chatted with the folks running the truck a couple times before. I was really invested in loving their food. They talked up their beef brisket. It sounded great! So when I ordered it, I ordered it eagerly, while rubbing my hands together. I couldn't wait to try it! It cost me $17, including tax. I was a bit taken aback, but figured maybe it included some sides and a drink. Nope. They handed me my sandwich. A little packed. I thought maybe I just needed to taste it and let it knock my socks off. Then I'd understand why they were charging $17. So I sat down at a nearby table to unwrap it. What I had: maybe 6-8 oz of meat on an indifferent bun. I tried it. Was it tasty? Sure, it was fine. But was it $17 tasty? Heck no. I've had BBQ in the Midwest and Texas and the South and I felt pretty *shrug* about this BBQ. The crispy onions were crispy, the brisket wasn't dry. They provided a little cup of BBQ sauce. I tried it with and without it. It tasted okay without it. The sauce was okay. I kept waiting for the $17 reason, and it never showed up. LOVE THIS FOOD AND TEAM! Every time I have come here they have been nothing but kind and sweet to walk me through the menu, even after they were at closing hours and I had questions. The food is definitely the best bbq I've had here in tri cities and will definitely be coming back. The Memphis pulled pork sandwich was so very tasty. The sizes were pretty big and the sandwich didn't need sauce like he said, the pulled pork had so much flavor without it, but it was nice to have on the side. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu! I have had BBQ all over America and this place rates right up there with the best of them. I had the brisket and it was fantastic. Melt in your mouth tender and lots of flavor. Great smoke ring. No sauce needed. They use Sweet Baby Rays which is my go to when I make ribs at home but it is not really keto friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate my keto request. She just upgraded her BBQ pit from a 500 gallon smoker to a 1000 gallon unit so running out of food should not be an issue. I will return there when I'm in Kennewick. Me: I step closer and repeated my order. HI'm. like what was the last part. Me: no bun add cheese. Him: *raising his voice* that's what a bowl is Me: I didn't know about bowls. Him: * visibly irritated and yelling* look I can't hear over this vent speak up. Me: having raised my everyone I repeated myself - used voice Projection to try to speak over his vent. Repeated my order again. Then someone in the back asked what kind of cheese. So I said whatever kind you have. I said that once. And I have eaten your food before. I've had much better. I gave my teenage daughter my debit card to order her food and when I got home and checked the receipt we noticed they charged her twice for her one meal she got. I contacted the company multiple times with no response. This food reminds me of home and growing up. KC's boasts the best biscuits in town and rightfully so, the biscuits are wonderful- soft and fluffy and melt in your mouth. It was hard to choose what to order-I went for the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and it was fabulous. I bought a pound of brisket to take home for dinner- still melt in your mouth after warming it up. The Mac and cheese is some of the best I've ever eaten.
