Sent out a quote request through Yelp for a Nema 14/50 install in my garage. All of the quotes were relatively the same but I chose KCD based off their reviews. From my initial discussions with the owner Rick to the prompt and clean install from Shane their professionalism was noticed. I would definitely recommend this company and plan on using them for my future needs. read more

I needed to replace my electrical panel mandated by my HOA and it couldn't have gone any smoother. Rick was communicative and knowledgeable, always keeping me in the loop and letting me know what was going on. Because of the way the house was framed he avoided having to cut into the drywall and it looks great. Will be going to him for any future electrical needs, highly recommend! read more

This company is truly amazing. I had a major electrical issue on my meter boxers and sub panels. One guy took a bunch of money to show up and give estimate and never called back to actually do the job. Another guy used the fear factor to try and tell me I had to rewire the entire duplex. Rick met me at the duplex that day and has a bid together by morning. Then he gave me a quick start date and if he said he was going to be there at 8:00 am you could count on him being there! He always showed up on time and did exactly what he promised. He made this difficult situation I was in much easier! I highly recommend his company. You would be crazy not to use him! read more

It was a Sunday afternoon and I had an "electrical emergency". I called several other electricians in my local area only to get voicemails. I highly recommend KCD Electric ! read more

I hands down recommend this company for your needs! The owner, Rick came to our rescue on a school night and in the midst of cooking dinner for my 2 boys and everything went dark with no power. Rick came within an hour and fixed our breaker box issue. He is knowledgeable, fair in his pricing and will be using him again if other issues arise. If it wasn't for his timely same day service we would have had to wait until the next day for a company to come out. So thank you Rick! read more

I'm a bit outside of KCD Electric's service area but Rick still came out on a Friday morning to provide an estimate to install and wire up my Mini Split Condensers. As the owner of a service business myself, I recognize the attributes of a well run business and KCD Electric is at the top of their game. read more

Rick and his son came out to see our electric problem for our home. They really listened to our concerns and helped us figure out the issues with our home. One of the circuits in the garage was doing some funny things like the lights flickering, garage door opening lights randomly turning on and off etc. etc. Eventually the circuit would not stay on. When I flipped the circuit breaker switch it would turn on for a few minutes but then fail. I could also hear a faint sizzling sound so I turned off. I communicated all this to Rick, he correctly diagnosed a bad breaker and likely needed to clean the connection. We set up a time for him to replace breaker and he showed up on time, cleaned the connection and replaced the breaker in a flash. Showed me the old breaker and it was fried - burnt areas and plastic was crumbly. Rick was prompt, knew what he was doing and charged a fair price. Didn't try to upsell me etc. Trustworthy. Keeping his card for the future. read more

Our electricity went out on a Sunday afternoon. I went through so many companies on yelp and they were the only ones that answered their phone. We will continue to use their service in the future and recommend this company for anyone who is in a bind and needs good, detailed professional work. read more

We just moved into our home and after a few days of living there, we kept having all these weird electrical issues with our outlets. It was so frustrating and once realizing there was no way we could solve this ourselves, I started researching various electric companies nearby and ended up going with KCD based off their responsiveness, other reviews, and fair pricing. I am SO glad we went with them. Two guys Shane & Robert were so friendly, knowledgeable and great at communicating. KCD Electric is one of the few honest electricians left. We were quoted a fair price and the work was above and beyond what we wanted. We had a generator plug installed for those California blackout emergency or planned SCE outages and boy did it come in handy. Our house had lights and heat. Rick was thorough and showed me how everything worked. He went above and beyond to meet our needs. He will be our "go to" for all electrical needs in the future.
