I thought I a look ready reviewed KCB but it doesn't hurt to do a follow-up. KCB is the Nordstrom or SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union of the plumber world. I have.had them out for urgent issues and regular maintenance. KCB has always been available when needed, showed up on time, provided great, competent and honest service at very reasonable prices all while KCB's employees (plumbers and office support) are as polite as you could imagine. I have never had a negative experience with KCB...just like my experiences at Nordstrom and SFFCU. Honest, reliable and effective. I wish more businesses (and people) were like this. While I hope to never see them again because I just don't like plumbing problems, I'm glad they are around. read more

If I could give KCB Plumbing 10 stars I would. Keevin Blue is the founder and has the most legit plumbing company I've had the pleasure to work with. I have worked with a host of contractors managing building projects for my HOA for the last 20 years. Keevin handles his business with integrity, respect for clients, and ingenuity to address even the most unusual projects, while offering fair pricing. In our condo building, the individual units have private patios that were not draining. We had several companies suggest we divert the rainwater to our subterranean level. This would have resulted in flooding a homeowner's garage (Big Fail)! KCB Plumbing addressed the holistic issues. Keevin suggested diverting the plumbing but continuing the pipe underground to our sump pump. And due to several heavy rain seasons, we upgraded to a dual sump pump which required a new electrical board. The project became more interesting when Keevin discovered several things: First we were missing a French drain which was designed in the original architectural plans - so we did a change order to include that. Second, as Keevin's crew excavated for the new pipes, they discovered the original discharge pipes that carry water from the sump pump to the street had cracked underneath our foundation. The properties Ficus tree roots were aggressively attacking our plumbing. This caused a sink hole that had to be addressed. Kevin creatively handled this by rerouting the pipes along an outer wall and then reconnected to our discharge pipes beyond where the pipe was cracked. For each problem we incurred, KCB plumbing delivered a solution. When Keevin's crew had finished the job, not only did it function well but aesthetically his work was impeccable. We have had two rain seasons since the repairs and all patios are draining well while keeping the subterranean garage dry. I fully endorse this company. read more

KCB Plumbing was on a list of recommended plumbers for the Falsken softener system which we wanted installed at our house. Keevin, the president of KCB, came to assess our situation and provide a quote. Not only were we impressed with Keevin's friendly but professional approach and his evident expertise with the system, but KCB's detailed quote was less than another quote we had obtained for the same equipment and job. We also wanted to hire KCB because they were familiar with our KWC European shower system which none of the plumbers in our area seem to have experience with and don't want to touch or just want to replace entirely - and this is after we had already paid another plumber several hundred dollars about a year ago but continued to have problems. On the day of our softener install, Keevin, his foreman Bill and two other workers arrived on time, and Keevin made sure everyone understood the details of the job before he left. The work completed looked clean, professional and the cost was as quoted, and KCB also arranged to have the work permitted and approved by the City, as we had requested. Needless to say, we passed the inspection quickly and with flying colors. KCB will be returning, after receiving the ordered parts for our shower, and I have no doubt they will fix our shower as promised! read more

I wish there was a negative rating. This company has put me through plumbing hell. My toilet overflowed and they sent out a young new guy who rammed the auger into the toilet, chewing up the porcelain inside the toilet bowl. This occurs when you don't know what you're doing. Then he used the auger on the bathtub causing damage to the bathtub finish. Then he unscrewed the cover to the access for the hot and cold water somehow thinking that he could auger that too, he replaced the screws but instead of screwing them back in straight, he left them jutting out at a sharp angle causing a friend to cut her hand. The owner, who at this point had never called me back, sent out a rude guy who announced four times that he was "THE SUPERINTENDENT" who looked at the toilet damage, calling me a liar, that the damage was done by someone previously (funny, I had used this same plumbing company before) and after calling me a liar said it's an old toilet anyway. So what? The age is not relevant, it was in perfect condition. Was. Then a week later the toilet overflowed again because the new, young guy had failed to fix it. They were too busy to send someone out because they had "HUGE JOBS" but finally four days after my first call they sent the same new, young guy out even though I said I preferred someone who had experience and this time he did as I suggested the first time, use the cleanout and the access vent. Then they had the nerve to demand payment for this second visit to fix what the first visit failed to do and after they failed to fix the damage done to my toilet. This guy says he cannot repair the damage he did to my toilet and that I was lying, the damage was there before, not his fault, of course. Well, when I suggested that this time he use the cleanout as I had suggested before (but he refused) he said it wasn't done properly, it was a "health hazard" and an OSHA. Then he called me a liar again when I said a plumber from his company had done it, so I pulled out the Invoice proving that what I said was true, and he refused to look at it. Then the office manager called me demanding payment over the phone, when I informed her of the OSHA violation and wouldn't the owner like to know this serious charge by her own plumber, she said no, she wasn't going to tell him, she just wanted $149.00 to fix what I had already paid them to fix the week before. Her voice rising, "These are two separate trips", yes, but the same issue, roots don't grow back in a week. You can't make this stuff up. She said the roots were causing the overflow but the roots don't grow back in a week! If you have a "HUGE NEW HOUSING TRACT" they may be OK, but it's obvious that they hate working with homeowners. read more

Never disappoints! I have used this company for 8 years now. I used to manage properties for clients and they are my go to plumbing company. They are professional, informative, efficient, reasonable with pricing and timely. Water flooding from the cement water meter on the street called for help and within 5 minutes after I had informed them of my issue they had an appointment and crew ready for me. The crew came on time, professional and patient because we had to deal with HOA too. During the whole process of the repaired, walked us through what was going and how the leak happened and what the next steps were. All four men that came for the entire process of the leak repair were extremely nice, polite and never made you feel rushed or a bother when you had questions on certain parts. I own two rentals and my own home, all of which are over 80 years old, so rarely does a year go by that I do not have some kind of plumbing issue if not several. I have been using KCB plumbing to handle them for the last 7 or 8 years. Having KCB Plumbing handle the problem is a dream come true. I call, email or text them about the problem, and I get an immediate response. Plus they'll communicate directly with the tenant about it. Consequently, it gets taken care of immediately. Kcb Plumbing gave us outstanding service. We were purchasing a home and Keevin and team came out to do a thorough inspection on the home, even running a camera through our main line to the sewer where they found 20% blockage in our pipes. They gave us a very fair quote to fix the blockage and a handful of other items that needed to be fixed--corroded pipes, leak under kitchen sink, etc. We then also asked for a quote to remove the old dated tank water heater, and get a new tankless heater which we wanted to move outside. Again, we shopped around and found that Keevin's pricing was fair. After we purchased the house, Kcb came out and did all the work they had quoted in the inspection. Everything was done quickly, professionally, and with amazing quality. His team arrived on-time everyday and the work was completed within a week, even digging up the front yard to get to the main line. Today, they installed a Reverse Osmosis water filtration system in my kitchen. Looked into doing a repipe of my house. Got a few quotes from the repipe specialists companies and also KCB plumbing. Keevin came out, inspected my home, answered all my questions, and gave me a quote that was competitive and actually cheaper than most of the competition.
