Bulgogi and rice with side of kimchi
    Danielle S.

There really aren't any Korean Restaurants in Rockwall county so KC Seoul Kitchen is it when you get a craving for Korean food. It's a food truck located at Fate Food Hall which is a mini food truck park. Their main dish is Bulgogi with their other menu items revolving around this marinaded shaved ribeye. They offer traditional dishes like bibimbap, mandu (dumplings), and kimbap along with a fun twist on a classic like their K tacos. The menu changes slightly each day so check out their Facebook page to see their menu offerings for the day. They do tend to sell out quickly, great for the business but not so great if you're planning on ordering for dinner only to find out they're closed for the rest of the day. The Bulgogi has great flavor and gets a thumbs up from my 5 year old. I find myself ordering the Bulgogi and rice for him at least once a week. The fried dumplings are great as well. I finally got to try their k tacos, which are HUGE by the way, but wish you could order just one (an order comes with 2). The fried kimchi on top was very innovative but I wasn't a fan of the texture, Perhaps if eaten immediately it would be better but I found that it made the kimchi chewy. Kimbap is good but can only be ordered online.

Food is great. Service was friendly...understandably it took a few minutes to assemble as I had large and varied order ). It was well worth the wait. Had the gumbo again and it was excellent as usual .tried the meat pies and panko crusted boudin balls no the with remoulade. Both were perfectly fried and not greasy. Seasoning was complex and both paired well with the sauce. My Excited to try the rest of the menu.

    Bibimbop

Absolutely the best Korean food I've ever had. The kimchi was so refreshing and spot on, the rice cakes were cooked perfectly, the bulgogi was perfectly seasoned...I could go on. Definitely coming back!

The experience could not have been more pleasant. Our server was Natalia V. She was what you would expect from a server - attentive, friendly and made you feel appreciated. Please ask for her as your server. Trevor gave us a sample of Chicken and Sausage, and Seafood Gumbo. My sister chose a bowl of Chicken and Sausage Gumbo which was the better of the samples. It was full of chicken and sausage, flavorful with a nice spice, and a meal by itself. I had Pasta Monica dinner, which Trevor indicated was one of the best-selling dinners. It was excellent. It had a good amount of Shrimp and Crawfish tails in a Parmesan cheese sauce that had the right thickness and amount of spice. The Cesar salad was one of the best I have had. The romaine lettuce was fresh and crispy, crunchy croutons, and the right amount of fresh Parmesan cheese and flavorful dressing. We split the Key Lime pie and asked that the strawberry drizzle not be added. We are not sure why strawberry drizzle is added since it does not complement or enhance the pie. The Key Lime was better this time without the drizzle. We sat out on the patio during our first visit and had issues with flies and crows. It was too hot to sit out on the patio this time. However, we noted Dodie's has made an attempt to eliminate the flies with table fans. Overall, Dodie's is a good Cajun restaurant, and we consider our June 13, 2026, visit an aberration. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I explained to guy that I didn't want it cooked all the way since we weren't going to eat till 5-6pm that night. He then told me to just stick it in oven and it'll be fine. Awwhh NO!!! Can you say food poisoning I decided to re-cook once we were ready to eat later that day. We were pleasantly surprised at the favor. Lil heat but not too much. The shrimp were larger than most other places. The crawfish did have great favor and we enjoyed it all. The dinner came with 2/potatoes and corn. Which were rather large as well. I'm excited to try out the crab legs, and sausage too. They are only open on weekends. In a church parking lot, so be prepared to wait. I believe there were only two workers in trailer. One taking orders, and the other cooking. They do offer sauces for dipping. And all the orders are in large metal containers for big orders. Place your reservation early in week. That way they you can get your fix before they sold out. And your stuck without crawfish or shrimp when you have the craving for it. They accept cash, and all forms of credit as well.

Six boudin balls and banana pudding. Starting with the dish that was the least appetizing, the garlic toast/ bread had no garlic spell or taste just butter taste. 2nd least favorite is the expensive banana pudding . I have had much better banana pudding with no bananas from another restaurant. I would have rather had more than 5 mini vanilla wafers instead of the cool whip topping . $7.99 for that never again . The French Quarter dish was dropped off it was received warm from the doordash dasher . Everything was seasoned well , the shrimp etoufee is a tad bit spicy but it isn't overwhelming. I wish they provided at least two catfish fillets instead of just one . . I didn't want any hushpuppies but there is no choice to decline them. Boudin balls are good. I am from Louisiana been living in Dallas-Fort Worth over 24 years now . I enjoy well cooked cajun meals . Portions large enough for leftovers
