I met Melissa through my friends that also had her photograph their weddings. When I saw the quality of her photos, I knew immediately that I wanted her for my future wedding. I also did my medical school graduation photos with her and I'm so happy I did! The photos came out amazing. Years later, I met the man of my dreams, got engaged, and found myself excited to plan my wedding. I knew Melissa was going to be one of my first vendor phone calls. From the beginning, she was professional and easy to communicate with. Initially, my fiance and I opted out of the engagement photos part of the package because we had wonderful proposal photos taken by family but we ended up changing our mind and adding it into the package. She allowed us to do so without an issue. We are so glad we did! We weren't sure where to do the photos and she ended up giving us wonderful recommendations. We LOVE our engagement photos. Throughout the wedding process, we felt very taken care of by Melissa. She had us answer questions so she could determine what was important to us and what parts of the wedding was especially important to capture. She was also able to answer all our questions as well. So my great husband surprised me by taking me to Santa Barbara for the day and then the cherry on top was that he hired a photographer, Mike, for a private photo shoot by the beach. Mike was extremely professional. He showed up on time and suggested a few locations along the coast, one of which was the Butterfly Beach and it was the perfect spot. He had all of his gear with him, and got right down to business. He is such a visionary and we immediately knew he's a true pro because he would see a rock and would guide us in positioning ourselves in a way that the pose looks both nice and natural at the same time. Photo shoots can sometimes feel a bit forced and a drag but not with Mike. He was talking to us and sharing stories with us the whole time. It was both entertaining and made the whole experience a lot more relaxed and natural. And the cherry on top was that we got all of our photos back within days so the thrill of that experience was still fresh and we were so delighted once we saw the finished photos. He captures amazing and authentic moments. I highly highly recommend Mike to anyone that wants a photo shoot for literary anything. At the behest of the executive producer, MKC Photography was hired by the production to provide behind-the-scenes photography. First and foremost, the quality of images we received is second to none. Edited images were delivered in a timely manner. In fact, the photos were finished way before the music video! In regards to our specific collaboration, what really set Michael apart (i.e. what makes him beyond invaluable) was his kind and generous spirit. He was very patient with us, the production. Personally, I deeply appreciated that behavior. In this current landscape where just about anyone can pick up a camera and call themselves a photographer, MKC is a consummate professional. Oh and his replies are typically very fast, which I also appreciate! Our needs for his services were rather specific; this is true. My sister lives in Bakersfield and I live down in Los Angeles. So searching for Newborn Baby Photographers, I came across Alyssa's page. I saw her portfolio and it was just what I was looking for. I have never hired a photographer before and had no idea about the process. Alyssa was very prompt, understanding, and overall so sweet with helping me get the most with my budget ($200) and also explaining the whole process. We knew we wanted the cute baby photos and didn't know if my sister would be up for mommy and daddy with the baby photos until the day of. Alyssa was very flexible to her and what she wanted and offered a mini session with the baby and parents if they wanted or just the baby. She also has baby props for the session! They ended up getting about 6 pictures of all 3 of them, and 24 pictures of baby by himself. My sister said it was an Awesome experience! For the budget, we got to select and keep 5 of the 27 photos. But the photos were soooooo good! So we ended up getting 4 more for a great price! We all are so very happy with the photos and service Alyssa provided and are so grateful for her to capture this moment. We will definitely be using her again down the line! She's really fantastic!

All of them were absolutely amazing, and beyond our expectations. He has a nack of knowing how to capture people in their best light, and making them look like superstars on their big day! Cynthia Lozano, the photographer OBD Studios sent for my wedding, lost half of my wedding…read morephotographs and then tried to hide that from me when I followed up; rather than informing me in a professional and timely manner, she did not let me know of the issue until a week after she had originally promised me my photos, and this was after I followed up with her twice to inquire about the status of my project. The biggest slap to the face was the email I received from her at that point, informing me she lost the photos -- this included all posed group photos and photos of us going home -- and that she was refunding me $200. Is $200 really the price of a once-in-a-lifetime memory? I am still attempting to recover the originals from her, which she said were too grainy to use. I figured I could pay someone else (I naturally don't trust her photography or editing skills anymore) to salvage at least the group photos. She sent me a flash drive of just 144 raw images -- more than half of which are photos *I sent to her* after hurriedly collecting them from my friends' mobile phones. For reference, we commissioned her to take over 500 photos. She's friendly and nice, but she is not professional at all. Go with someone else -- please -- and save yourself the heartache and time.

Another GREAT session with Cynthia today. My son is turning 2 and we hired her for a "mini…read moresession." My husband and I wanted second birthday pictures of our son, not only did she photograph our son she took family photos and even did announcement pictures for our second baby. All within an hour she managed to handle our toddlers session and squeeze in family pictures! Cynthia knows exactly how to direct and lead a session when you're feeling clueless on what to do next.
