Our baby came earlier than expected, so we had to quickly find a newborn photographer! Ipek was prompt with her response and able to fit us into her schedule soon. Her home studio is comfortable and cozy with pretty much every adorable baby prop and backdrop imaginable. Ipek (the photographer) was calm and gentle with our newborn, which eased us sleep-deprived parents as well. The photos are so precious!! Ipek truly worked her magic. We are so glad we went with Melodi Photography, and we plan to use her again for future photo needs in Bakersfield. read more

Ipek is an amazing person and photographer. I came across her work when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I loved what I saw. She brings life and color to her modern work, and has an eye like no one else. She is a year into her business, but she is a total pro. We showed her outfits our daughter would wear ahead of time, and she picked out the perfect props, and when we asked for a random family portrait last minute, she made it happen. Very professional, and she is worth every penny. We will definitely return to her one day. I'll attach some of her work. We highly recommend Melodi photography, and I would check out her website: melodiphoto.com read more

Ipek was a sweet and awesome person to work with. My daughter was turning 16 and we wanted to memorize this moment in her life she brings so much joy to us. As looked for a photographer, I was sceptical, when we met up to talk about props and area of interest for the photo shoot, she gave alot of insight. We were so happy to work with her. The photos after we everything we had hoped for thank you ipek for the awesome job. Well done. Next we plan a pregnancy photo shoot and I'll definitely write another review. read more

OK, so I needed photos in a bad way. We had a very important family gathering. But because one of our family members was going to be missing, we decided to wait and do photos on a different day. Suddenly, without notice, we found out we were going to be complete and we needed a photographer QUICK!! Found Melodi on a quick search and found Ipek very responsive and clear. We arranged a time and she was very efficient at mixing and matching all the various families (4 different families and a matriarch). Now, to the good stuff, photos turned out amazing! Excellent work . . . will definitely Ipek again! I really love the ease of doing business. She has a fabulous eye and her turnaround on the photos is amazing. read more

Ipek is a incredible talent! We have enjoyed 3 sessions that have all turned out fantastic! We highly recommended her!

We have done a couple of sessions with Ipek and absolutely LOVE her and her amazing work. My children (5,2 and 8months) are a bit hard to wrangle and direct for pictures. However, Ipeck did a fabulous job at creating a calm organic environment that my children felt comfortable in and cooperated! :) Most importantly she captured some priceless moments! I am so in love with the photos from my sessions and would most definitely recommend Melodi Photography to anyone! read more

We recently hired Ipek to take pictures at our daughter's first birthday party, and we are so very happy with how she captured our family and the party. It comes as no surprise to me that she has perfect Yelp reviews because she is THE BEST photographer we've ever used. With Ipek, you don't just get a talented photographer. She has the sweetest heart and genuinely cares about her clients. She is so passionate about her photography, and her thorough, professional demeanor is both refreshing and reassuring. We were given an amazing deal on our package through her referral program, and I greatly appreciated her willingness to talk with me both before and after our shoot about all things great and small. As I write this, I'm almost in disbelief that such a wonderful photographer and all-around person has been right here in Bakersfield all the years we've been searching for the photographer who was the right fit for our family. We're so glad we've found her-she's a true treasure. Thank you for everything, Ipek! read more

The moment me and my family walked inside the door, we were welcomed by Ipek. Right when she opened the door, she introduced herself and we introduced ourself. She was friendly and made us very comfortable. She had snacks and water on the table just in case we got hungry. We were doing 1 month pictured and she showed us many different types of props and where the pictures would be taken. She had it set up very nicely. Since we were doing family pictures, I was up first. We did take a few pictures, but that is when my child was very hungry and started crying. Ipek was wonderful and she made my wife very comfortable so she can breastfeed. After few minutes of breastfeeding, me and my child took more pictures. Then afterwards, Ipek took my child and placed her on the sofa and in different types of basket. It was very wonderful on how she took very good care of my child to make the pictures come out very wonderful. My child was excellent in taking pictures. She was very calm and quiet and was in a deep sleep. The second time around, my wife and to breastfeed, and while she was breastfeeding, Ipek was asking me questions and we were just talking afterwards. It was comfortable and felt like I known here for few years, even though this was the first time I met her. The whole experience was awesome. She put her best effort to take great pictures of my daughter. We are going to go back for the 6 month picture and 1 year picture. We are really glad we chose here for our 1 month pictures. Thank you very much. read more

I originally found Ipek through a Google search after looking for a photographer to do family portraits. She replied quickly with a price quote that was reasonable. As my family hasn't had portraits done in over 15 years, Ipek was able to suggest different locations and outfit ideas that would photograph well. We received our pictures quickly and the quality of her work was amazing! I hired her again for my wedding a month later, though it was with hesitancy because she hadn't shot a wedding before. I provided her with picture examples of specific things and people I wanted photographed to give her an idea of what I wanted. She went to wedding venue and my reception venue a few days before to make sure everything my bridezilla mind wanted was in fact possible. She even went above and beyond and meet with the reception venue coordinator on my behalf! One thing in particular I wanted was a silhouette of the groom and I in front of the beautiful green windows of the Belevdere Room of The Padre Hotel which came out absolutely AMAZING!!! I've looked at that picture every single day since I've gotten married because I love that photograph so much. Additionally, she provided me with a second photographer which I really didn't think was necessary but it ended up giving my wedding a whole different angle! Her turn around time for editing the photos both times I've used her has always been quick and her work is absolutely outstanding. She's got a great personality as well and without question I would use her again. Thank you Ipek for all the memories you've provided my family! read more
