Called Sic ink on my lunch break from work to see if they could take walk ins like their website says. They informed me they do not for tattoos but a lot of times they can do same day appointments. The artist gave me her number to text her design. I texted it over (it's just a silly small tat) at which point she said she'll be in the shop until 3:45 that day. I responded saying I'd be able to get there by 3:30 and she said sounds good. Well 3:30 rolls around. I'm there as stated. And the door was locked. Texted her and she called me and told me that she had left for the day. Like bro. A simple text telling me would've taken 5 seconds and saved me the drive and gas. It's not a huge deal because I live close but what if someone would've driving 30+ minutes for that. Just messed up in my opinion.

Needless to say I contacted them and had to go back in on Monday and have them removed I was in severe pain for two days my eyes were extremely red and irritated. They did remove the lashes but in no way would give me even half a refund it was $165 wasted. I didn't expect a full refund but a partial refund would have been appreciated since I have no longer able to wear the lashes. The young lady that was behind the desk made us comment that wow now we know you can never have lashes again. Unacceptable

Apparently she left the salon between my last visit and this one. I took a half a day off of work, drove the 30+ minutes to the salon, only to be told Chelsea's not there anymore and I no longer have an appointment. No call, text, or email (all of which they have and have used in the past) telling me my appointment was canceled. No heads up that my stylist left and asking if I wanted to switch to another one. Nothing. The receptionist was polite and let me know the manager wasn't in but she would let her know to contact me. I received a call later saying they would try to get me in with another master stylist - but then they asked what services I was getting! Chelsea is a master stylist - we talk about what we want to do, she makes it happen. I don't want or need to know the name of the services it goes under - I just want it done. I have spent thousands of dollars at this salon between my haircuts and color, my daughter's haircuts and tinsel application, and purchasing products. For them to cancel my appointment with no communication and then to apparently have no information available about my normal processes is just too much. While the stylists are lovely, the management is terrible. Find a stylist at a different Aveda salon where they value their customers.

She assured me that she would get back with me to scheduled. She never did. I called back four times seeking assistance. I spoke with her three out of the four times. Natalia did my makeup for my baby shower and it was beautiful . I still looked like myself but enhanced. She was very sweet and patient with me. I booked her and my mom for my maternity shoot. It wasn't until 30 mins AFTER the scheduled time, was when I finally heard back that she accidentally overbooked that day. She wanted to reschedule THREE hours later, in which I could not afford to spare any time considering I had a photo shoot scheduled before my ceremony and the time allotted for completion would have taken 2 hours. She said she would come to the venue, but I didn't not have access to the venue by the time SHE would be ready. I also didn't want my makeup and hair rushed. I even offered to come to her, so she would at least take her time, but got ghosted. (And at this point I wouldn't even trust that she would show up on the second scheduled time) So on my WEDDING DAY, I had to use whatever makeup I had and my own hair tools. If she would have communicated and wanted to cancel I would've found a backup plan, but that opportunity was not given. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this has to be known. Your trial may be successful, but when it counts she will not show up on your event day. I would assume it was because it was just me, and maybe she took on a bigger party. Which once again if that was communicated I would've found a plan b. Very unprofessional and unacceptable and would not want any other bride going through this.
