I paid him a lot of money, never late when he asked for money, he said in his contract. He wanted the money when jot was completed. When he got money before the job was completed. And I'm still not happy. I tried to be patient with him. Knowing that things do come up things do happen, but he took advantage of my kindness. I ultimately had a very disappointing experience working with this company. At first, they were…read morevery helpful and communicative, and did some good and timely work for jobs I needed done. Then, in the aftermath of these first jobs, I was sold on an overly expensive and likely unnecessary job. I ended up canceling this job since I learned of other less expensive alternatives to address the issue. This team was just entirely unaware of other approaches to the issue. When I came to my decision to change the scope of the work, they were at first respectful and promised to work with me to pivot the deposit to a different (unrelated) job I actually did need done. This is only after they offered to knock 30% off the original quote - such a big reduction means, in my opinion, they were really just trying to take my money... Agreeing to this original job was a mistake on my part, I freely acknowledge, but I believed them when they said they would work with me. The owner really seemed trustworthy on this, but given how everything played out, it seems he was not. In the end, I was completely ghosted after trying to call a couple times to find a path to move forward in a productive way that would suit BOTH parties. Who knows, really, but I was left without any idea. All I wanted was to come to a *mutually agreeable solution* to move forward, but I didn't even get a chance to have that discussion. Nobody ever called me back to talk it out, and I honestly wonder if they screened out my calls. The only communication I ever received back was a text that the owner was ill...I suppose there's a chance the company dissolved? Or stopped working for a period of time? Either way, the lack of communication felt like a slap in the face. So, at this point, I really worry if they will honor their so-called "lifetime warantees" on the work they have done. What started off as a good partnership essentially ended with me being ripped off. I really hoped it wouldn't come to that. It's a real shame.
