BBQ Sauce was very watery
Jason B.

We ordered brisket and if this is what you call bbq brisket then your better off serving cafeteria food, there was no flavor at all, bbq has a smoke ring yours has no ring like Dan Marino no ring. The Cole slaw tasted old and watery the burnt ends weren't even burnt and had zero flavor. For the $65 we dropped I should have just bought a brisket and did it at home. I hope KC is your name and not where your from because this was a very poor representation of BBQ

Would I order from or eat here again? YES. Overall I enjoyed most of the food and I'll go into detail a little more below, also note this was ordered off door dash so my experience and prices may be a little different. Burnt Ends - this was probably the most disappointing out of my order. It comes with a decent amount of meat and had I ate it all I would have been a little more full. For 16$ I was a little disappointed in the quality - most of the meat was extremely dry and required me to drink something just to get it down. On top of that some of the pieces were so dry it literally took me 40 seconds to break it down in my mouth. Some pieces were very tender and full of flavor and some of the more (very burnt ends) were like biting down on a hard candy lifesaver. Beef Brisket Slider - 8/10. I loved the flavor and the meat was so tender and juicy, thinking about it now with some pickles and bbq sauce on top is making my mouth water but the bun is barely a tad larger than a Hawaiian roll. You get more meat than will fit in the single bun which is nice but the slider itself is smaller than my palm and for nearly 7$ (not filling, I would recommend 2 orders) Slaw and Beans - I'll have to admit that the other reviews skewed me towards these options as I was going to choose my favorite potato salad but everyone claimed both the slaw and beans were worthy of a taste AND THEY WERE RIGHT. I'm not a huge slaw fan but this slaw was amazing. I actually wanted more and finished the entire bit. You get a good taste of everything and some fresh cracked black pepper. It's not too over saturated with dressing and honestly just right. The beans were also very delicious and comforting with some bits of diced onion inside. I enjoyed the beans very much but the slaw was the overall winner.

First time here. The lady at the counter was very patient and helpful. Service A+ We get home and open up all the containers. Here is the break down: 1. Brisket - pretty good maybe a little dry but fine 2. Pork Ribs - good flavor. A little "Too off the bone" for me 3. Beans were runny BUT they turned out to be amazing. Fantastic beans 4. Potato salad - average 5. Cole slaw - yum 6. BBQ sauce. It was very runny but had a good, unique taste

Beef Brisket Rib Tips white bread pickles

Growing up in the Midwest my soul has craved for some delicious BBQ from Missouri and I found what I have been looking for! The restaurant does not have dine in, carry out only and they are located at the Federal way farmers market with their food truck. We ordered the brisket, rib tips, baked beans and potato salad. The entire meal came with slice white bread, pickles and sauce. The food was so delicious, the rib tips were our favorite only because the brisket was tasty but a little dry. Brisket is a difficult meat to smoke and keep juicy-pretty much baby siting the meat-I've made brisket at home and it takes time!!!!! The restaurant was very clean, well organized, lots of options to choose from, they offer bottled soda and I didn't see any dessert options but there's plenty of bakery's near if you have a sweet tooth afterwards. The lady who greeted us was friendly, polite and welcoming. Answering all my list of questions and made sure we received our complete order before leaving. Overall the entire meal was filling, full of flavor, tasty and felt like home while I eating it. I could picture sitting outside on my granny's front pouch, with the aroma of smoked meat in the air! Thank you for reminding me of home, I will definitely return when we're in the area. As always my people, stay safe and health out there! Please continue to support our local businesses and spread the love ;0) See you all at my next bit *=*

My mom has been talking about this place for weeks! So tonight we ordered take out, did the BBQ beans, coleslaw and potato salad side with pork Ribs and Beef Brisket! Gotta say it was delicious!!! The brisket was fall apart moist and flavorful! The pork ribs were perfectly seasoned not Spicey but so flavorful and rich! Literally fell off the bone and melted in your mouth! I love BBQ and finding the right place can be hard but this place is spot on! The staff is very friendly, the order process was smooth (I suggest you save some $$ and call in your take out) and it was ready in a flash! Highly recommend!!!

2-Meat combo | Rib Tips + Beef Brisket ($11.5)

I was craving BBQ and made a stop at KC Deez around 12:30 for lunch. I instantly eyed the 2-meat combo plate ($11.50) so I could sample a couple items, which also includes a small cup of coleslaw, bread, pickles and extra BBQ sauce. Despite being open from 11:00 to 2:00, they had already run out of both chicken AND pulled pork, which were my first two picks. Lesson learned: Beat the lunch rush and come early! The cashier listed off their other offerings including "burnt ends" (apparently their most popular), sausage, beef brisket, ribs and rib tips. I opted for the rib tips and brisket. The brisket was delicious - tender, juicy and easily pulled apart with my fork. Although I enjoyed the BBQ sauce, which was on the tangier side of the spectrum, the consistency was pretty thin. The brisket came in the form of a slider, and unfortunately my bottom bun was soaked through with BBQ sauce, making it completely soggy and inedible. As for the rib tips, they were on the drier end and I found the flavor of the meat masked by an overwhelming amount of smokiness. They tasted strongly of charcoal or liquid smoke... way too overpowering for my liking. As a plus, I loved the coleslaw and wish the combo included a larger portion than just a small cup. It was so refreshing and had a nice spicy kick from the dash of red pepper flakes mixed in. This is definitely one of the best coleslaws I've ever eaten! Overall, I honestly felt disappointed with my lunch. Perhaps I would have been more satisfied with the chicken and pork as I intended to order, but it seems like those two meats were winners among the lunch crowd that day as well.

My friend told me about this place. KC Deez has it down! I had the full rack of pork rib, and it's smokey and the meat peels right off the bone. It's perfect. I like the BBQ sauce they make too. The brisket is pretty good too. I had a pulled pork slider to see what they pulled pork was like.. it's pretty good. Here's one thing.. I'm not from Texas, Kansas City, or anywhere where BBQ is huge to the local food culture.. so I can't speak or compare it to much.. but from a personal taste perspective, I think the food is here is really great. Besides the Korean restaurants and a few other locally-owned spots here and there, FW for the most part sucks when it comes to food (not into chains). Thankfully, KC Deez BBQ is here to serve up some seriously delicious BBQ. They had the food truck at the FW Farmers Market before, and this physical location is all takeout/delivery. You can even order via Yelp by GrubHub. If you're in FW and want something good, I'd point you to the Twin Lakes area and get some KC Deez BBQ. Support black-owned business!

Happy guys working the food truck that parked out by my work. They loaded up my sliders. The BBQ is vinegar based and while not my fave kind of sauce, it was good! The meat was really tender and juicy. The slaw was good as well. Would try again and appreciate the friendly service! Food: 4 Service: 5

It's just not good food. I'm sorry to break it to yall but I've had the many times and it's bland and tasteless meat.

Yummy ass bbq but I'm not fond of their sides but the slaw is less desirable. Service was impeccable.

New to the area. Food was good 2 out of the 3 times but I blame myself for the last visit because it was maybe 45 minutes before they closed
