Tim, the owner is awesome. A very safe and professional field that caters to all ages. We play about 15-20 times per year there and have even had our kids out for .50 games. Had my 10 year olds birthday party here and everyone has a blast. Was getting tired of the standard trampoline parks and large arcade parties that leave you with the same, been there and done that feeling. This place is an old stomping ground. They've been around forever and then some and there's a reason for that. Huge multiple fields for battle - great for large or small groups. The staff is always fun and energetic. And with the new upgrades of newer guns I began to love this place all over again. Reservations can be made or walk ons are always welcomed. Spent my 31st birthday there being a kid again and it was a blast. From the lighting rounds on the speed field to the 11 versus 30 on the bigger field down to the point where we saw a bear on the deep back field but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Nor did it stop my buddies teaming up on me and lighting me up 12 vs 1. I was welted for two weeks. But boy is it fun. Great this is they are open year round and have specials every now and then so check up with them here and there. They also do 24 hour matches as well! Can't wait to do some Pballin in the snow! KC Crusaders Paintball - Paintball Near Me - South Prairie, Washington

I had my first ever big paintball event experience at KC Crusaders last weekend for their annual 24 hour paintball game. There was supposedly 300 people who registered, so at any given time I'd say there were 75-100 people on each team playing. That's absolutely nuts. The staff on hand seemed pretty good and had good attitudes. As for reffing the game, they tried hard, but there are a few things I wouldn't have minded such as Chrono'ing everyone who entered the field, not just once time in the morning and MAYBE if they suspected you were shooting hot (over the safe limit). They did their best to keep things fair and handle unfair play (if you brought it to their attention). Although I do wish they regulated the parking lot a bit more, there was a group of shirtless tattoo'd wonders who just screamed bad publicity for paintball. Drinking and smoking like crazy, and swearing up a storm everywhere they went. I'm only 24, but come on, there are families around. Anyway overall a good job on the staff's part, but always some room for imporvement. As for the field, I guess the large field we played on is split into six fields on regular days. It's pretty cool a lot of natural terrain with some man made bunkers thrown here and there (tires, wood planks, boxes, etc.). Definitely a place that can consist of fire fights and snipers. They also have an airball/speedball feed in the parking lot, it wasn't inflated when I was there, but i'm sure it's pretty standard. Staging areas seemed clean, although I wish there were more picnic tables set up. They do have snack stands and what not, so that's good. The pro shop is pretty bare though IMO. The Honey Bucket Porta-pottys are easy to find, and appeared to be maintained well. Lastly prices are pretty good. A little bit more for paint than DBS, cheaper than OP, but the paint cost still includes field fee. Their private party per person prices are possibly the cheapest I've seen. Overall, KC Crusader's IMO is not perfect, definitely some areas for improvement. but they seemed pretty good for my first experience, and an easy recommendation. I am setting up a private party group there next weekend (on a regular non-event day). I'll be sure to update my review after I see how it goes. ~G read more

KC Crusaders Paintball - Paintball Near Me - South Prairie, Washington

I have been playing paintball for nearly a decade, and this has become my favorite field in Western Washington. While there are many paintball venues that have multiple wooded fields, especially in Washington, the factor that seems to make the most difference is the staff. I have been to other fields that have let their regular players get away with rule breaking, to the point of being unsafe. I have had many other experiences where the staff let's their regular players make life miserable for the newbies. This is not so at KC Crusaders. While the refs are friendly, they take player safety seriously, and they enforce decent behavior, so that no one, especially newbies and kids, get picked-on. Their prices are extremely reasonable, too. Many other field charge separate fees for access to the field and all-day-air. KC's charges a flat field fee. While it is field paint only (and they DO kick people out for bringing their own paint), the paint prices are decent, too. Plus (HINT, HINT) if you buy a case of premium paint, your field fee is waived. One more thing about the staff. If you go with a private group, the refs see themselves as facilitators to you having a good time. If you come up with a wacky idea for a paintball game, as long as it's safe, the refs will let you do it. We happened to have to toy Lightsabers, and we wanted to play Hunt the Jedi. The refs not only let us arm some people with Lightsabers, but started laughing like maniacs when one of the Jedi actually tagged someone with the Lightsaber to get them out. Let get the one caveat out of the way: they only have two walk-on fields: one woodsball and one speedball (like the stuff you see on ESPN2). Their other four fields are reserved for private groups. This is my only real complaint with this field. I usually go with a group, so this is not a big deal, to me, but be aware that you won't be leaving the walk-on field otherwise. Again, this is my favorite field, and I try to take a private group there, at least four times a year. Maybe some of you would be interested in joining us? read more

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I came with a group of four, all of who have never played paintball before. We were given clear instruction on how to use the guns, and the gear was all clean and ready to go. My gun was misfiring once we got out onto the field, and one of the staff not only noticed, but got me a new gun full of air without me requesting it. Visited KC Crusaders for an event as my first time paintballing, and let me tell you, it was awesome!!! The crew that helped us out, Zack, James, and Ricky, are super awesome! Helpful, kind, especially with this being my first time, and conscious of safety, but not at the expense of taking our fun away. They have a lot of different and cool courses, with different equipment and games to be played. I felt the pain, but mostly it was just running around and having an awesome time!!! I would highly recommend this place to any regular paintball pro wanting a good time (we had plenty of those in our group that lived it), or someone like me that wants to try it out for the first time and learn what is about! My daughter and I have been playing paintball for about 3-4 years now playing on many Southern California fields and today being the first time we visited KC Crusaders we were impressed. Fields are well maintained and set up logically. Games go out often and you don't have a big lag time between games. The staff and fellow players were great, everybody having a good time. If you haven't tried playing paintball before or if you are seasoned players this is the place for you. One more thing, they welcome walk on players every weekend. I just went last weekend after having not gone for close to 5 years and still had a great time. We didn't call in time to reserve a course for our group so we just "walked on". We were a bit worried we would go up against more seasoned players (most of us haven't played in a while or ever) but the staff that work there do a great job of putting together fair teams that are not one-sided at all. At one point though they asked if we'd like to have our people against the better people (12 on 4), that was fun...we still lost. Haha. Great place, great people and pretty darn cheap. $40 gets you rental, unlimited air and 500 paintballs. read more

This was a really great place for a kids party or for any event. We had my sons 11th birthday here. The kids and adults all loved It. They provide necessary head gear to keep you safe. Sometimes the balls sting and did leave a few bruises but it's great fun. We also rented the party room for an additional fee. Worth the money to have a separate space for all your gear and for the younger kids to hang out who don't want to play. I've never played paint ball before and this place didn't disappoint. They had good hiding spots and different area to play and change it up. The only thing I'd do different is to remember gloves. Just adds extra protection if you get hit on the hands. We went in November when the ground is wetter. I just had kids wear boots and old clothes. I also had them wear extra pants underneath and two shirts for extra padding. I went to the previous 24 hour game ( actually 27 hours) and I must say that the servicee was very good. Except how every 5 minutes the refs would randomly chrono you. There were alot of people and it was a good challenge. My biggest problem was I got there after an hour had passed, and the PPs were strangely overflowing. I used a nearby friends bathroom. Just a suggestion to bring your own toilet paper, as 300 people using 5 PPs winds up with a short supply of tp. The course was good. A kind of mix of both urban and jungle combat. This is the friendliest and most professional paintball field I've played on, over the last 18 years across 3 states. The staff was extremely attentive, knowledgable, and friendly. Specifically Ricky, who repaired my old CO2 tank free of charge by replacing the regulator while I was given one of theirs to play with all day. This was my first ever paintball experience and I have to say KC Crusaders really made it an awesome first time. We went there for my step-sons birthday and they made the day. Along with being extermly helpful with kids,12 year-olds, they were provided us with a free bag of paintballs after one went missing. It is rare to see genuinly amazing customer service, but this place has it. Through out the day the employees would constantly ask how we were doing and if we were having a fun time. We just got home from a great party here! It was a birthday party for my son's 13th birthday. I reserved a field for a private party as I wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment we arrived, everyone was super nice and helpful! We had Mark as our referee and coach the entire time. He was awesome! He is great with the kids and really focused a lot on safety, yet was super fun. The facility had many different fields to play on -- all were really well constructed and laid out. It was nice being in our own group so we had a nice even playing level against each other. All of the equipment (guns/mask/etc.) worked great with no issues. We even found a place that delivered pizza directly to the facility - making the party planning even easier! This was the first time for many of us playing paintball. However a few boys in our group had gone to other facilities. They said that this one was by far the best they had ever been to! Although we live in Seattle, we would definitely make the trip back down again. Thanks for making our son's 13th birthday so memorable!! read more
