I can't say enough great things about Indian Creek Campground in Tecumseh, Michigan! From the…read moremoment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of the family. The grounds are immaculately kept, and you can really tell how much pride and care goes into maintaining the place. Our campsite was spacious, shaded, and just a short walk from the camp store--which was a peaceful spot to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning. The kids loved the playground and jump pad, and the terrainables were a huge hit! There was a real sense of community, especially during the themed activities on Saturday night. Bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen at any campground, and the camp store had everything we forgot to pack (plus some great ice cream). We even met the owners, who were walking around chatting with guests--super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. We've already booked another stay for later this summer. If you're looking for a relaxing, family-friendly place to camp with a real personal touch, Indian Creek is the spot. Can't wait to come back!

We moved quite a distance away, but we'll travel for a day at Get Away Bay, aka Heath Beach!! Always a great time!

Slice of heaven…read more What was previously known as heath beach/ milan beach is the same natural spring fed lake with a new owner who is breathing a fresh life into the place. You can tell by the new chairs and picnic tables! Natural spring fed lake with just about everything you can think of for a fun day in the sun (summer... fall... and winter...) Let's start with summer... pontoon sun deck with diving board, dock with diving board, water slide... Plenty of room to lay out. Just about anything under the sun can be rented for maximum enjoyment.. paddle boards, boats, paddle boats, floats, rafts etc etc. all reasonable prices. Here with family? A roped off sandy beach area with a couple floats for the kids to enjoy. Also- ADA water toys to help those that need help getting into the water. A nice touch! Did I mention an ice cream cart that drives around?! Or if you don't want to wait... a snack bar with all the options... water/pop/gaterade and snacks... including ice-cream. Want to host a party? There is a barn. Or a pavilion and plenty of upgrades to make the day fun including grills to rent or comfortable lounge chairs. Rentals are endless.... Anything and everything to make the day great. Wouldn't be surprised if you could purchase a bathing suit at this place. Not into water? Plenty of fun activities on land. Volleyball nets, orbeez gun obstacle to go all tactical with your buddies, horse shoe, disc golf. Sounds like camping is now included. And plenty of fire pits to rent for a fall gathering. More to come with the follow up fall and winter reviews... hay rides. Bon fires... possible haunted hay ride? Ice rink in the winter? Really a year round haven of activity. Fishing is just on the weekdays. Plenty to get after!

Adults is only $6 for entry, I forgot how cheap it was for kids but I think it was $4. Regardless this is my new spot. Opens at 11-8 for the pool. I haven't been able to explore all of Fuller Park yet but they get 5 stars automatically from me…read morefor their amazing pool! I live really close to the Vets Park pool but I think Fuller Park's may be my new spot. First off, it's HUGE. I think maybe the biggest public outdoor pool in Ann Arbor? They have several lanes for laps, a deep end for swimming, and a shallower end for kids. They also have a separate waterslide tucked in the back (although it doesn't empty into a pool). While Vet's Park is better for the really little ones (they have more of a toddler pool with overhead sprinklers and such) Fuller is better for older folks. In fact, the last 10 minutes of every hour is "Adult swim." Anyone under 18 has to get out of the pool so the adults can have a bit of a peaceful float for 10 glorious minutes. It's not just great for swimming either. It's wonderful for relaxing as well. They have LOTS of lounge chairs and pergolas to keep you semi shaded. I spent several fantastic hours here this past weekend cooling off in the water for a bit and then heading back to my chair to dry off and read a book. It was lovely. If you're feeling peckish they have a few vending machines for beverages and snacks. They have a couple of ice cream novelty machines too. Oh, and they have a few picnic tables and areas for parties. $5 a day for adults, $4 for kids and seniors. They have resident yearly passes ($140 for adults or $265 for familes) or punch passes (10 punches for $40 or 20 punches for $80) if you don't think you'd use the yearly pass often enough for make it worth your while. The pool is pristine, the locker rooms are also clean, and it's just so spacious and great. I really genuinely love it there and can't wait for my next visit!

The playground was good for the kids, loved it was fenced in and the blow up playground was fun- it did rain so was a little wet. The staff I am going to be honest here- did not have professionalism at all. They didn't even know we were there until I rented a golf cart, LOL! We called in advance to check in late because we would not arrive until 10PM that night. No instructions to unlock the cabin but we figured it out- so if you arrive late- its 00 (cabin number) and the 3 lines at the top. Just for reference. It was family oriented. Which i loved. Just not ran well at all.

Our family reunion was being held so we opted to stay here. We were unable to get a full hook up site, all we could reserve was one with water and electric, which for tonight was fine. We are KOA club member so we did get a little bit of a discount, but it was still about 60 bucks a night for this site. They have two different areas where they assigned spaces. One is grassy and open with full sun and the other is completely shaded by the waterfront. It had rained for a couple days prior to our arrival so the roads were very muddy. I would agree with most of the other commenters that their roads are in pretty bad shape, very rutted and it is a slow process to drive your car through these roads. They were putting some gravel in the entryway when we arrived, but I would say the internal sites near the water were a bit of a mess. It's just very muddy and it really doesn't need to be this way. There's a huge mix of campers, fifth wheels and many tents so there is something for everyone. I cannot comment on whether they charge for different items such as the bounce pad and such as we didn't have any kids with us. I didn't see any priceless anywhere though. We did do laundry. Two dollars to wash, two dollars to dry and everything worked just fine. The staff were pretty friendly. They seem to all be friends and get along really well. We did not use the shower rooms or bath house since we're self-contained. Wi-Fi worked, but it was iffy. Verizon service was pretty good. One of our biggest frustrations was having a pull through site that you really couldn't pull your car out of! There were too many hairpin turns from site 205 so unfortunately, we had to go back to the main entrance and pull off to the side of the road to hook the car back up. Kind of a pain!
