I have since purchased my own faucet and as I write this, a plumber is installing the new faucet at a cost of $325. So between buying the faucet and paying for an install, I'm up to about $450. I should have just hired a real contractor to do the original bathroom, but was thinking Rebath would be more cost efficient. Lesson learned

For a very small 5' x 6' bathroom with basic finishes, the quote came in at over $33,000. There was no breakdown of labor versus materials, so it was impossible to understand where the cost was coming from. Considering the products shown and the installation method, the price was difficult to justify. I wasn't expecting bargain pricing, but I was expecting premium materials, transparency, and a design experience that matched the cost. Instead, it felt like I was being asked to pay luxury pricing for contractor-grade products. If you're considering Re-Bath, I would strongly recommend getting multiple quotes from reputable local bathroom remodelers before making a decision. He asked me to send pictures and measurements and that he would be out the next day. 30 mins before he was suppose to be there, he called with a price over $9000 the highest estimate that I received. We talked about differences, and I mentioned that we had terrazzo so we did not want tile. He did not know what terrazzo was. I told him thank you, I was not interested in the estimate and hung up. I am sorry but if a estimator/designer in FL does not know what terrazzo is, I have issues since this is the most common flooring that was used in the older homes.

The machines used were jointer, table saw, miter saw and a planer. After cutting everything we all selected board 4 pieces, glued them together, smoothed edges and put a few coats of mineral oil bring the original wood color and for protecting the board from bacteria. After being in our home for 25 years, we had discovered a leak in an upstairs guest shower. Since we would have to take out most of the tile, we thought we would redo the entire shower. While walking through the Bel-Air shopping plaza, we came across a showroom for CNY. They do kitchen and bathroom renovations so we walked in. We met Ray and Anneliese and immediately felt very comfortable to work with this company. My wife and I sat down with the team and chose all of the items to be added to the shower after Ray came out to take measurements. The final price came in at $15,000 and a quarter of that was put down to start the project. Once all the specialty items were ordered and in the project started. Victor started with demolition and finished at the installation of the tile. He was amazing and very nice and respectful. Did a great job not making a mess as demo tends to do. Next came Cory who finished the job and was also very polite and did a fabulous job. Our guests now have a new shower to enjoy with the latest upgrades and a spa look.
