Chris' boss gave us a letter stating the repairs would be completed within 10 days. Below are pictures of some items in the home that were not ready when we moved in and some from what happened on 1/16/2020 which is over 30 days after move in. Obviously empty promises. Light switches and fixtures were installed and we were told that we would be able to operate it with a remote control but that Chris had ordered the wrong part. We waited several weeks and the electricians finally came- with the wrong part!! 2 days later, they inform me that what Chris O'Donnell told me was incorrect because the living room is not wired for the remote control to operate the light so therefore they had to make a hole in the drywall and replace the switch and use it somewhere else in the house. I am so disgusted with Lennar. There have been constant issues since day 1. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SANITY. They make empty promises they cannot keep. Write checks they cannot cash. They have a building manage named Chris O'Donnell who will not work past 5 o'clock even to correct his own mistakes. The back door was "shimmed." I could go on and on. Please, for you own sanity, do not buy a LENNAR HOME IN COOL SPRINGS

He is very giving of his time, knowledge, and is the most collaborative of the 3 Architects we have used on the 2 other custom homes we have built. As an example, even before we signed a contract he made multiple site visits to give us his friendly professional insight about several lots we were considering before we selected the property we ultimately purchased. He was extremely accommodating and friendly throughout the entire process. Collaboration is his priority from the beginning and he made it very convenient through the use of screen share as we designed the home together. We were really impressed with the architectural 3D model that Daniel created. It was amazing that we were able to have a computer-generated 3D model to visualize the complete exterior as well as the outdoor entertaining, outdoor kitchen, and the pool and spa area. We were able to have the majority of our meetings in the evenings after we got off work and we even did a screen share to collaborate on our laptop while we were out of town visiting family. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about both the architectural and contractual aspects of building, but he seems to have a great instinct for what the client is looking achieve. He also had the desire to study alternatives and create several layouts that might make the most sense for the lifestyle we described. Our custom home is amazing and we would definitely recommend him to our friends. We enjoyed the process of the architectural design of our custom home and even more surprisingly we enjoyed the building process that is often stressful. Instrumental in our smooth building process was Daniel's custom home building budget that he accurately laid out from the beginning giving us many options and associated costs. Daniel's project management and selection of the builder really took confusion out of the process and stress off of our lap. Other critical details that made build successful was his guidance and assistance with the interior design, kitchen, and bath design, and selection of all of our interior finishes and fixtures. Our kitchen and bathrooms really stand out with exceptional design and we are very grateful for that. All in all the 3% that he charged to be a complete steward of our project was an easy decision. We told her what we wanted and the timeline we were looking at to complete the project. She was able to quickly coordinate and schedule the project. Second, the price was better than others we compared them too. Third, Jorge and Angel were awesome. They showed up to work on time and didn't leave until at least 5 or 5:30PM. Fourth, Rita would periodically stop by to make sure the project was going as planned and answer any questions we had. Again, we were extremely satisfied and would recommend Texas Flooring & Remodeling to anyone interested in installing new floors in their home.

The project manager Jose's customer service is awesome. Even a minor repair to a fold in the taping on the dry wall or a spot of paint in the rug is taken care of with great attitude and service. I was leery at first from the reviews; however, I drove down every weekend and watched my home construction. The service is outstanding and the construction is very good. They build mass communities across the U.S. and the materials used are what you would typically buy in a Home Depot or Lowes so don't expect special order solid oak cabinetry and natural wood flooring or crown moldings in every room.. There are three types of construction so if you buy an Express, it will not have the same finishes as a DR or Emerald. Look at other mass construction and spend time comparing the little details and materials used. Look at resale value-DR Horton has a high resale value. Don't buy a house without due diligence and understanding that your house requires routine maintenance and was constructed by humans. It is not 100% perfect-but the service I received for very minor cosmetics was above and beyond. This is a really nice home and neighborhood with 5 star customer service. I had a walk through from an independent agent and a final one from Jose. They gave me a full explanation on my house maintenance and the subcontractor information. Even after I closed, there was a very minor repair that DR's subcontractor needed to do; however, Jose offered help and called the contractor for me.

Living here has become unbearable. i've lived here for three years, first a one bedroom, now a two…read morebedroom. Here are some reason i won't be renewing. The one bedroom had a ton of flaws, too pricy for such a small space. Moving in the apartment was filthy, and not throughly cleaned. I had an ant infestation that took a very long time to get rid of. The complex only has one dumpster so it was very far to take your trash out. The two bedroom things got better, we got lucky and are right next to the dumpster. Still have a roach problem but it isn't as bad as it once was. Another issue is living on the first floor, get prepared for headlights of other cars parking right in front of your window to be shining through. Get prepared for the gardeners to be mowing the lawn right outside your window on a Saturday at 8 am. Get prepared for ENDLESS community issues. Including construction constantly for things that do not need to be fixed. You will hear them working from 8am-7pm. The internet is terrible, we didn't have internet for two days and it constantly goes out. The water was out probably 10 times over the three years I lived there. Don't worry though, they offer free water bottles and a shower in a model home where 80 people just showered before you! Still expect to pay the water bill however! The one thing I will miss about this apartment is the maintenance crew, and the events they have. However, they don't have as many anymore. You could find somewhere better to live for sure, which is why i'm moving.
