Joshua and his team did an amazing job with the tear out or the carpet and the linoleum in the entire second floor and they floated the floors as well as laid the new flooring down in a total of 4 bedrooms, a game room, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, 5 closets and a small section of hallway along with redoing my stairs. His painters are excellent. And they did this in about one week. And when there were any questions, and trust me I had lots of them as this was my 1st real renovation to this house, Joshua always responded with answers. And there were times that Joshua had come over himself and would help get the job done, and that's what I call GREAT customer service. Also when there were a few hiccups along the way Joshua and his team made it right. Thank you Atlas Empire and Joshua for such a great experience.

My apologies to those I've recommended CRV Homes LLC to. (401 Studewood St, Suite 201, Houston…read more77007, 832 736 3501.) It was clearly too soon. Attached are some of my communications with owners Jeff Mendez and Amber Rodgers Mendez, on emails, FB messages to their business/ personal pages and texts to both their numbers. It's been 3 weeks and I've yet to receive a response other than Amber blocking me on Facebook. I have the contract (with one year warranty) though my week long job in March was into into June and still not completed.) This led me to cancel 2 upcoming jobs I had accepted their bids on, undoubtedly winning no favor with them. I also have supporting documentation showing they were paid in full in April, a measure of my good faith in their promises. "Hi Amber, It's Sue Matthews. I've been trying for over a week to reach you to finish my flooring. You may remember we started in April and your contractors disappeared. I was held up for weeks because you were in Lake Jackson. Someone finally came back out but the work was never completed. There were numerous requests and promises to get it finished by June 9th when my daughter arrived for the summer, Jeff finally came to my home ON the 9th. By then it was too late to finish the job, I had told you I really, really needed to be done by 3 that day, Jeff never even came until 2:50. At that point, he marked the areas I had sent you photos of, with blue tape and noted the stairs were never even glued down. I said I'd have to wait until fall now. I didn't want my 20 yr old daughter dealing with workers in and out of the house, showing (or not showing) up as promised or deciding if the job was satisfactorally finished. Jeff said that was fine and that he would finish the job himself." "Jeff, Please acknowledge my messages. The BBB said they already have open complaints. I'd like to resolve this ourselves. Thx, Sue Matthews"

Daniel was super professional and the outcome and process were outstanding. When we were taking bids, some roof companies went on and on and I felt like I was being held captive -- others gave me lower quotes over the phone without seeing the roof! Daniel came out in person, was thorough, explained everything and answered questions but respected my time. He also understood the complications of insurance claims and worked with us on that. I had taken a lot of notes from the more expensive companies and learned that Daniel's company was using exactly the same materials! Daniel was not the cheapest but far from most expensive and he established a trust with us. PRE INSTALLATION: Daniel was super responsive to my follow up texts. At one point I asked if we should go with two solar fans to vent the roof. He said he would be happy to do it BUT we don't need it. What other contractor would turn down an up charge? Daniel came the day before installation to do prep. He notice my lawn was a little long and explained that if the lawn could be shorter it will help ensure 100% nail clean up. I tried to get my landscaper in later that afternoon but that was a no go. Daniel then tried to start up my long-neglected lawn mower and saw it wasn't working. So Daniel came back in his truck with his own lawn mower and mowed my lawn! INSTALLATION AND FOLLOW UP: Installation went really well. It was clear Daniel took care of his workers. Daniel supervised the entire project. Every time one of us left the house, Daniel was there providing safe passage with wood to make sure we did not step on any nails. And now it's been months and I have never seen a left over nail. We have had torrential rain many times and no leaks!

In…read moreaddition to the repair cost, they charged $700 for it being a 3 story home and another $600 for the pitch angle. At the time when the repair was being done, the speed at which they were working was a little concerning. This was due to the fact that I was sold on replacing all vents on the roof as well but witness the technicians leave without doing so. They came back soon after me contacting the project manager that I only only saw them go up with a bundle of shingles before and proceeded to complete the vent replacements. Once they completed the repairs, I contacted the project manager again and asked for drone footage of the repairs so I could compare them to the initial inspection photos. He then got offensive stating that his technicians were risking their lives in order to repair my roof and kept saying they stand by their workmanship and provide a 1 year warranty. I started to suspect the project manager did not fully explain to the technicians on what to repair and only repaired the obvious damage and not the improperly installed shingles the project manager sold me on to repair. Fast forward to today (April 2025), sections of my roof have shingles blowing off again which are photographed in the initial inspection last year. I contacted 1st choice to start a warranty claim and was soon told they can warranty shingles they replaced but the ones that were missed a few feet away is considered new damage and had to be treated at such. I told them ok, please get me an estimate on the repair and we can proceed with the warrantied areas. After receiving the estimate, they again charged the 3 story fee and pitch angle fee even though they will be going up to repair the warrantied areas anyways because it is "to be treated as new damage" while also stating on the estimate that they no longer can warranty any repairs because of the build material. I would not have found out my roof was damaged if I didn't switch insurance company and they send an inspector out to look at my roof. Missed agreed upon repairs and damaged repairs they are hesitant to fix. If they are currently working on your home, make sure you have footage of the completed agreed repairs after. If you're considering, make sure you have everything documented to cover yourself cause they are for sure covering themselves.
