To top it off, the place has a great atmosphere. I can see this becoming a "spot" for sure. The miso soup, gyoza, and cheese rangoons are fantastic starters. The gyoza was pan-seared for that perfect crunch and made with plenty of filling. The crab Rangoons were crispy, golden, and packed with creamy flavor. The sushi? Solid. The tuna nigiri was fantastic and practically melted in my mouth. I'd say the shrimp nigiri was good too. Both had great rice with the perfect texture. Also the hibachi fried rice is excellent, though I preferred beef over chicken with it. The highlights of the night were the specialty rolls. The Snow White sushi roll is satisfying with a lot of flavor in one bite. The Tiger roll was also stacked and made beautifully. A final mention is the fried calamari, that was an amazing pair to everything! I'll be back, that's for sure.

There was a wait for seating but soon as I started ordering everything came out almost immediately. I can't remember all the rolls I ordered but I Did enjoy each one I tried. I didn't try out many of their apps but their gyoza was also enjoyable for me. With great service and a lot of options I think Mr.Tokyo is worth it. This is so far the best experience I had with AYCE sushi and I would consider coming here over traditional sushi places because of pricing. If you're in the area and want to test how much sushi you can eat you should give Mr.Tokyo a try

We were able to snag a comfortable booth in the bar area and our server provided a warm welcome and overall excellent service from start to finish. I usually rely on the receipt to ensure I have names correct but it appears the bartender was logged in on the POS system. In any case, the young man working bar table service last night should be commended. We started with the Lotus Salad which I highly recommend. It's fresh and the dressing perfectly complements the greens and mix of seafood. We ordered the #27 Rock n Roll and #34 Sin City sushi rolls. The sushi chef always serves up excellence and this time was no different. Once again, I have to say that my experience is always phenomenal whether I'm dining with a group or on a date night.

No. Seriously. 5 adults and 2 high chairs. I was hoping to slip in with a group and have fun. This seating is depressing. Oh let me not forget I waited 10 minutes at least to be seated. That wasn't so bad as I figured u had to wait on an odd numbered party to show up. I shoulda just waited into 4pm when the spot I really wanted to visit opened up. Our drinks & app service was decent. Never got our severs names but my Coke Zero was refilled without asking. Listening to the family at the table beside us chat and eat has been enjoyable while we sit here looking crazy. I've been here many times throughout the years. This has been the shortest wait to be seated. The longest wait to eat. And the most fumbled I've seen. Like who turns the table off? Loads of people in here. Plenty of people in the lobby waiting. But almost an hour between my arrival and the chef isn't even cooking? Nah. I'm good on Kabuto. Update! My medium ribeye was over cooked. I had medium. The people beside me ordered medium well. We are not together. This is why I don't order the filet because more often than not the steak gets overcooked. I typically order medium because I know the carry over will make it medium well. If you have a large group 6-10 then yes. Give this a whirl at least once. Solo dining night? Meh. Totally kid friendly too. I wanted to give this 4 stars but overcooked steak and the extra long wait took the fun out of it for me.

I absolutely love the floor seating option! I will say that some of the other seating areas feel a little cramped. Went for lunch about 12:15, yes it was busy, understandable. The hostess was rude as F...., she advised it was a 15-20 minute wait, then walked away before we could say we would wait for a table. As we stood there for about 15 minutes, we asked did she put us on wait list, she answered with a dry reply..yes We waited patiently as she kept walking by us, without acknowledging us, with a "it won't be long" sorry for the wait... Once again, I know it was lunch rush, but, still offer good customer service. I will miss the food but I will not be returning to Muzumi. This visit was the last, as they do not show they value their customers!!

They have a large menu that features Cajun seafood (more expensive), pasta with chicken or shrimp and you can pick your sauce, Japanese hibachi, and a few Chinese dishes. They also offer a large bubble tea menu. Like I said, a wide array of choices. You order at the counter and then get your drink cup and pick a table. They bring your food out to you in takeout boxes, which is actually quite convenient because of the large portion sizes. The woman who works the counter is very busy but nice if you can have more than a few seconds with her. She always answers questions well and is quick to bring extra sauces if needed. They do a heavy takeout business so poor thing is always swamped but she handles it well. I can't speak for the Cajun seafood but plan to get it to take home to my family one day. It's just too much for a work lunch. The hibachi menu is extensive and features more than your average chicken, shrimp, and steak. They have scallops, tilapia, and salmon. So good! And the prices for the hibachi is very reasonable. The ambiance is generic but I don't care with the food being so delicious and quick! I would give Mr. Kirin a solid 4.5 but had to round up for the sake of the stars.
