Granted, do we really need 8 hours of continuous coverage? Either way, they've got every last reporter out on the streets with a smile on their faces. Special "good job" to Sten Walstrom who went on at 4am yesterday, took a short nap after the Noon show and was back out there at 3pm through the evening broadcasts. And could anyone be more chipper than Laura Papetti in all this snow? I mean she is from Alaska, but good golly she is happy! It may be 10 degrees outside, but KREM warms my heart!

I found his approach to be honest & factful, he had a way of making the weather reports actually interesting & I looked forward to the weather segment daily. Obviously Krem 2 thought highly of him as well as he was their chief meteorologist. So I am absolutely disgusted to hear that Jeremy is no longer with Krem 2, whats even worse is the ridiculous reasoning behind their decision. Shame on you Krem 2 for not standing behind Jeremy, whom in my opinion, as well as many others, was the best meteorologist you've ever had at this station. What a loss for Krem 2...I will no longer watch this channel and cant stand to watch the replacement they brought in.

Yes, I am a BIG FAN; particularly the KHQ local news team!…read more I have been a Spokane and E. Washington area resident for over 50 years. From time to time, and for various reasons, I've had the opportunity to compare the overall quality of your news casts and products to those of your local competitors. Although news is news, the means by which it's presented makes all the difference in the world. To a truly local individual such as myself, your newscasts come across as local news stories, as presented by local professionals with the same concerns as local people like me. I am continually convinced that your newscasters have the same concerns as me regarding our great quality of life in Spokane. Each and every one of KHQ's front line broadcaster are absolutely excellent, likeable communicators! From news, to sports, weather and special reports, they are all top notch! l look forward to watching your newscasts whenever I can. Lately I've been wondering how and where you find these pleasant and talented individuals! I'm reminded that when you hire and develop the right people, success is certain. It seems to me that much of the credit for KHQ's superior broadcast news department, should go the outstanding performance of those individuals who scout out, hire, train, coach, advise, develop and maintain your front line individuals. And I certainly know very little about the many tasks required to deliver each and every newscast. But I'm quite sure that there are dozens of skilled and highly talented individuals that work hard to ensure the quality of your news broadcasts. Great teamwork makes a winning team. Honestly, over the years, I've had some doubts about a couple of your newer front line individuals. Without exception, those few questionable individuals were developed into extraordinarily likable and trustworthy broadcasters. When I see the new faces now, I almost look forward to watching them grow and develop to their maximum potential. I want you to know that I have never gone to the trouble to send a message like this to any company. However, 50 years of trusted, quality news programming delivered to me in my home is nothing less than incredible! Thank You! Best Regards Bill L.

There are multiple dead space moments, we're seeing coverage through someone's digital camera, they have names all screwed up about elite wheelchair racers and runners. It is the worst coverage in the world, and you would think that a race of this caliber would deserve something better than an amateurish approach. Do your homework, folks. Learn the names, get someone who actually knows a little bit about running to help you with your coverage, get people operating the cameras not to show us the blue sky, but focus on the runners themselves. It honestly feels like a bunch of people got drunk the night before and are now covering an event the next morning all hung over. It's truly unbelievable.

Currently I'm fascinated by Victoria and glad that Mercy Street is back, despite the grit. This summer I loved the Corfu story, and would like to read the book sometime. My friend and I enjoy Call the Midwife, and she ended up going to the library to read those books. I also enjoy the nature shows, ancestry shows, American Masters and Kennedy Centre Honors. I'm not big on news shows or classical music but that's okay. What made me decide to become a member are two things. One, my financial situation has improved. I must tell you that I've always been grateful for all those people listed who make these shows possible - I say that most sincerely. The second thing is that I discovered that I can watch A Chef's Life online - I was so thrilled and grateful, as I missed a couple seasons :) Keep up the good work!

He doesn't always agree with what they write but does like reading his paper. If there were another paper he would be reading it. This is one of the little pleasures he still has in life. When you call about the paper they end up delivering it after the fact a few days later and still want to charge you for a three or four day old paper. Cowels family got rich off this paper but no longer care if you get your paper or not. I think the Cowels family should read some of the reviews about their paper and see just how bad their paper is. The "district manager" will never return your call. I finally cancelled my subscription when the carrier broke the front window of my home and just drove off even though "she said her hand slipped and she thought she might've broken something." Again, customer service was sluggish and poor, but the window ultimately got fixed with insistence from my husband. Boo to you, spokesman review, service matters and print is dead. Probably should make some efforts before you lose more customers.
