There are children being trafficked and this newspaper has the audacity to state in a formally written article that "trafficking does not occur in Spokane." This is truly a slap in the face for every marginalized person in Spokane. Every female as well. Would they publish an article so blatant, as to say domestic violence doesn't exists no because that might provoke outrage. Yet they got the bright idea to allow someone to publish an article at the height of the exploitation epidemic in Spokane, when there is a task force to combat human trafficking. They are picking on weak disenfranchised even children by spreading this nonsense around the media. When I contacted the author he gas lit me and stated how do you know human trafficking exists? Truly they allowed someone to publish this. I do not know who reads yelp but please join me in boycotting this newspaper. What could improve: After you publish an article in this era that states human trafficking doesn't exist in the inland northwest you are not really for even children's rights. Because it obviously doesn't exist some human rights agency should sue them for this and probably would win for promoting human rights violations rubbish.
