Crispy fish, tasty fries, and a delicious shake…read more Stopped by Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips near ICON Park in Orlando and ordered the fish combo along with the Biscoff shake. The fish was hot, crispy, and perfectly flaky on the inside. The batter had a great crunch without feeling too heavy, and the fries were well-seasoned and addictive. It's classic fish and chips done really well, and it's easy to see why the spot is so popular. The Biscoff shake was a highlight of the meal. It was thick, creamy, and packed with that signature caramelized cookie flavor. It felt indulgent and made for the perfect sweet treat alongside the savory meal. Service was quick and efficient, and the line moved faster than expected despite the crowd. The vibe is casual, modern, and energetic, making it a great stop for a quick meal while exploring the ICON Park area. The open kitchen and lively atmosphere add to the experience and make it fun to watch the food being prepared. Overall, a satisfying meal with crispy fish, flavorful fries, and an excellent shake. I'd definitely come back when craving fish and chips in Orlando.

Order at kiosk, wait for drinks but 2 of 3 employees are refilling fountain boxes. No one says hello be right with you nothing for ten minutes. It was unreal. Just standing there watching two people do a one person job. Ten minutes is a long time. An acknowledgment of finally... you waiting for drinks? Yes ya think... The store kitchen was immaculate. I've never seen a kitchen that uses oil this clean. The chef/cook was just preparing meals. My number was the first to come up. 2608. The fish was fantastic, fries, and shrimp, right out of the fryer. Fantastic food. But... $5.99 for 12 ounces of Arnold Palmer. $3.99 for 12 ounces of Sweet tea. $5.99 for 12 ounces of Sprite. No refills? In America? 10 dollars for two non refillable drinks? As Gordon would say... WTF? You got me once but not twice. Next time if there is a next time I'll bring my own drinks or buy next door. I don't like being robbed. My 88 year old mom was not impressed with the drink pricing. No wonder no one there. 5 people at 615 pm on a Friday night? The square was filled with people. Now we know don't we... You had us as forever customers and greed took us away. Think about it. Your business loses not us.

Now, let's talk about the food--absolutely divine! The fish is perfectly battered and fried to golden perfection, flaky and fresh with every bite. The chips are crispy and seasoned just right, making for a classic combo that never disappoints. What sets Kiwi Style apart is their unique take on traditional fish and chips, with a variety of sauces and sides that add an extra touch of flavor. Don't miss out on the homemade tartar sauce--it's a game changer! We ordered a combo platter that gave us a perfect sampling of the fish, shrimp, and calamari. Pricing made us feel like we got a great deal. Highly recommend! Pro tip: Don't miss out on their Kiwi Style food truck at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie on O'ahu, Hawaii. My friends and I…read morewere checking out Anna Maria Island and this spot popped up on Yelp and we were all craving seafood. We walked in and headed to the counter to order our food. I chose the fish and chips with sweet potato fries which was a $4 up charge from regular fries. The menu board stated they served Dr Pepper but I was told they do not update the board and they did not have Dr Pepper. I'm a no go for coke so I went with sweet tea which was Gold Peak in a plastic bottle. My food was delivered to the table and immediately I thought, woe, that's a huge piece of cod;) I had to pull it apart and let it cool a little as it was straight from the fryer and steaming hot. The sweet potato fries were hot, crispy and deliscious! The fish was fresh, flaky and battered nicely. I also enjoyed the tarter sauce which was a better than the average served at other seafood restaurants. It was Valentine's Day and the server brought a bowl of Hershey Kisses by our table and asked us if we wanted one. Yes please! And they were the almond kisses, bonus! The service was friendly and our food came out pretty fast. I would stop by again when in the area!

AFTERNOON LUNCH DATE WITH THE WIFEY!!!…read more We stopped into the proper pie to grab lunch and here is the short of it. The pies are all frozen and take 20+ mins for them to cook it for you. If you have time the pies are very good. The only reason for the 4 stars is the time we spent waiting for the pies to cook felt like forever and the place was completely empty. I know these take time to cook, but just sitting there waiting felt like forever. I think buying and taking home to cook may be the way to go for these pies if you don't have the time. Pricing was a bit much in comparison to grocery store pies, but the filling sets Proper Pie apart from those in the freezer section. We got a beef and a chicken both were tasty. For us, Proper Pie is a once in a while or grab and take home to bake place, but when we want a meat pie this is the place to go!!! They also have an array of British food selections available. AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

The restaurant was clean, bright, and had ample seating and parking. I loved everything that I tried. All the food is prepared fresh, so everything came out piping hot. The firecracker chicken bowl was my favorite. I got it medium spice. It was absolutely delicious. It was hot, crispy, spicy, and a touch of sweet. The fried rice was super flavorful, and this is something I typically miss at typical Chinese food restaurants as I cannot eat pork. Of course, no pork in this fried rice. My partner got the sesame chicken, and I presume it was amazing because he wolfed it down so fast, I didn't have to even sneak a bite. The Japanese fried chicken was a 10 out of 10! It was lightly breaded, flavorful, and crispy. This place is a gem. I seriously recommend it and may even go back today. When we were eating, someone came in and ordered a mango matcha. It looked so good that I have to go back to try it.

This is a good place for lunch, if you can get a lunch deal…read more I ordered online for takeaway. Sadly, there were no lunch deals available with the online ordering system, so my meal was less of a bargain. I ordered a strawberry matcha tea with brown sugar boba and karaage with lo mein. As I was driving over, I received a call from the restaurant informing me that since they just opened that morning, the boba would not be ready for an hour, so I could either wait or switch to popping boba (I chose the latter). Also, the karaage is no longer on the menu, so could they switch to whole wings? Fine. The food was ready when I arrived. It was packaged in styrofoam, and the corners were NOT punched out, so by the time I got home, the chicken was no longer crispy. (Thankfully, I did sample a wing in the parking lot before I drove home, so I can say that the wings are crispy and delicious if eaten immediately.) I had ordered medium spice, and it was spicy! And I like spice! If you are not spice tolerant, go with mild or no spice. My lips are still feeling hot. I thought the food was good, not life changing. Pretty typical Americanized Chinese food plus wings. My matcha tea was on the sweet side and with not a lot of matcha flavor. I wish I could have requested a lower level of sweetness on the online ordering site.
