I'd give zero stars if I could…read more Do Not Use This Service! The list of what they did not do is much longer than the list of what they did do. Date of "service" was 9/28/19. During the phone consult, Jennifer said she charged $50 an hour to do a full clean of a 2 BR at move-out. Jennifer's phone manner was not very professional. She wouldn't have mentioned the total fee unless I'd asked how many hours would be needed. She then said the $50 was for 2 people for 3-3.5 hours. Neither time I called did she answer the phone with her name or with the name of her business. I was shocked when she called me after 2 hours and said they were done. Let me tell you how bad the place looked when I came back to my apartment to pay them. What makes this hard to understand is that I am a generally neat person and that the apartment was not very dirty to start with. Here is a partial list of what was wrong: 1. The stainless steel kitchen sink was badly etched. They said they'd used acid. I'd never needed anything stronger than Scrubbing Bubbles to clean it. See pics. 2. One BA sink was also etched from the acid. 3. The inside of the kitchen cupboards had not been cleaned. The few crumbs I missed were still there. 4. The entire stove and range had not been touched, including the drip pans, the range top, under the top, the oven, and the fan hood. They made a weak effort to clean the hood after I started inspecting the apartment. 5. The main BA floor had not been swept nor mopped. Since I rarely used the other BA and it wasn't dirty to start, I can only assume that one hadn't been done either. 6. Top of the fridge; inside the freezer. 7. Under the appliances. 8. I'd left 2 rolls of TP and a box of Kleenex in the main BA for the next renters. These had been placed--soaking wet--in the cabinet under the sink in the hope I wouldn't notice they'd been dropped in the toilet. 9. LR ceiling fan To be fair--I could tell they had vacuumed the carpet. That was about it. I cannot say strongly enough to not use this company.

We used HP Condor for 7 years while living in Madison, Wisconsin. The reason we decided to finally…read morewrite this review is that we have moved to Australia and to date have not been able to find a cleaning company as good as this one. We've been through several cleaners and they still do not measure up. Here is what is special about this company: 1. They really clean! We are really fussy and like a very clean house they cleaned the house more thoroughly than the 4 other cleaners we have hired here plus they did it with natural products. We were super spoiled back in Madison and didn't realize how much work they were doing until we started noticing crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and refrigerator shelves that needed cleaning. 2. They are pleasant. We had a good working relationship with the cleaners. We found everyone very approachable if we needed extra work in an area of the house. Also, we would come home while they were finishing up work and I always felt super comfortable and it was even pleasant to be around them while they were finishing up (which is important when someone is spending time in your home). 3. They are reliable. We miss these guys!

They truly made our home feel move-in ready again. They wiped down both the inside and outside of all cupboards, and even helped create space by organizing clutter from the countertops into a half-empty cabinet. Our counters went from crowded to spacious! They went above and beyond--pulling out the refrigerator and oven to clean the walls and floors underneath, cleaning the oven thoroughly, and tackling areas I hadn't even thought about. (They offered to clean inside the refrigerator too, but it was too full at the time.) Every detail was handled: light fixtures, ceiling fans, ceilings, windows, and window sills are now spotless--we can finally enjoy a clear view outside again. In the living area, they moved furniture to clean underneath and even removed sofa cushions to vacuum thoroughly. They wiped down baseboards, door frames, picture frames, and dusted all furniture.

I really wish I could give 4.5 stars, because the only real issue I had was with communication. I was given a two hour time window and was told that I would be getting a call or text when the cleaners were on their way. I was home, but was upstairs working (out of doorbell range). I had my phone volume on and clung on to it while I waited so that I wouldn't miss the call. I headed downstairs about 45 minutes into my time window for a glass of water and noticed that the cleaners were standing on my porch looking confused. I let them in and apologized profusely because I expected a call first. I don't know how long they were waiting but I felt awful. A heads up would have definitely been appreciated. Otherwise, they were in and out in two hours, and they did an awesome job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Avellas to friends and family. I will certainly be using them again!
