( this is a review from my wife)…read more I just left Walter, owner of IHealer phone repair and service. He is SO GOOD at what he does. My phone had a cracked screen and a underperforming battery (or so I thought) . Rather than upsell me, Walter encouraged me not to spend money on a new battery because it was still working quite well, and since it was a 2018 iPhone I'd likely be investing in a new one soon anyway. Instead he gave me tips on how to extend the life of my existing battery. I really respect that in a store owner. So I now have a new screen the phone works great, and I have a trusted tech I can highly recommend!- Danielle

Having my iPhone X for three years means inevitably the battery would start to go. Initially I was…read moregoing to head to the Apple Store but it's always a bit of a cluster there, and I wanted to find a local spot. So glad I did, this was a great experience. Friendly, professional and they did a great job. I used Yelp's Request a Quote and the owner Walter was quick to respond. It's all digital which is great, and then he texted my appt confirmation, cost ($80) and the contract to e-sign. He even sent a photo of what the building looks like -- just great communication overall. When I popped in for my appointment, he had a mask on as did I. I opted to wait in the car out of Covid precautions, and recommend bringing a book or magazines as it takes around 30-60 minutes for battery replacement. Walter's a really nice guy which adds to the experience. He put my phone in a UV sterilizing box and we chatted for a bit and I was on my way. A more memorable and positive experience than I expected to have. I should note the experience I outlined is the norm, but he also offers to come to you for an additional fee. Highly recommend, and he's going to be my new go-to for repairs as I try to keep this iPhone X running as long as possible.

I don't recommend this phone repair shop because of their lack of communication, professional, and…read moresexism. My phone was ran over so my male s/o called this phone repair shop and brought it in. They gave him a quote and he brought it back home so we could decide on what to do because the motherboard was broken. January 13th, I visited the phone repair shop and had told the employee that the phone was already looked at and what was wrong with it. He said they would have to ship it to be fixed and it would take a week to be fixed which I was fine with. A week later I called for an update, they hadnt even shipped it out yet but were going to ship it out the next day. And then quoted me $100+ more than they had quoted my male s/o for the SAME issue. About a month goes by, no calls from the phone repair shop so I call them. I was told they're still working on my phone but it would be "fixed by the end of the week" so I was hopeful. I call at the end of the week (Feb 11th) and they tell me that they were able to turn it on but nothing would be backed up, therefore saying it couldn't be fixed and wasn't fixed. The phone would be sent back to the shop. I figured that I would of been contacted when my phone was delivered back at this phone repair store, but I heard nothing. I called yesterday (Feb 25) and asked if my phone had been returned, and the employee said yes. Went and picked it up, and will not be returning to this phone repair shop. Nor recommending it to anyone. I understand fully that some phones can't be fixed, but to go as far as to tell me that it "would be fixed by the end of the week" is insane work for something that couldn't be fixed. Their lack of communication was the worst part of the whole situation, my phone was gone for a month when it should of been a week. I don't think they would of called me unless I had called them. Also I believe that I was quoted $100+ HIGHER than my male significant other for the SAME ISSUE because I am a female.

Brought in a very old laptop for repair. After several weeks without hearing anything, finally called them to check in on the status only to find that during a customer software upgrade I had been lost in the shuffle. A dozen days later, called back only to find out that they were still working on options and would call back. No call came so I called again and was told that since our laptop was so old it was not really worth fixing (not terribly surprising, but I wanted to try!). As I mentioned the guys here are nice, so we brought in a second laptop for repair and decided to sell the first one to them for parts. (Recycling at it's best!) This time around I still found that if we didn't call them, we had no idea what was going on. In the end the second laptop was fixed to our satisfaction but we didn't know how much it was going to cost until we came to pick it up. When it came time to settle up the credit for the first laptop and the repair on the second, I noticed the coupon we had brought in when we dropped off the first laptop had been lost. Luckily when I pointed out it was missing from the final receipt they made good on the original offer. I will be checking yelp for new reviews before I came to this place again hoping to see there has been improvement in these two areas: -Communicate with your customers on a timely and regular basis -Clearly communicate (at least estimates) of what the cost will be
