Initially, I saw a bright future coming here and seeing my new diabetes doc, Dr. William Kaye. The receptionists appeared kind and helpful, the office efficient, and the reviews of Dr. Kaye both online and off were nothing but stellar.
Quite unfortunately, not all was as protrayed. After two 'missed' appointments (one due to confusion, the other due to poor communication on the end of Dr. Kaye's office), I was told I was unable to reschedule. Considering the circumstances, which I explained to the front desk at least twice, I would expect their office to be more understanding. I would like to add that I offered to pay for one of the visits, as well as speak with Dr. Kaye about the debacle. Both offers were rejected.
Both times I spoke with a women by the name of Candice, who could most aptly be described as having the personality of someone with bi-polar disorder. At the very least, it is clear she is not even fit to speak with patients about the most rudimentary of issues, let alone represent an Endocrinologist's office.
Although Dr. William Kaye may be an excellent Endo, his office staff, namely Candice, need some heavy training in customer relations. I wish those luck looking for a good Endo, and hopefully you don't run into the issues I did if you are to switch to Dr. Kaye for your diabetes needs! read more
