Worst place I have EVER BEEN to. I recently moved Edmonton from red deer and didn't have anyone to…read moretake over all the medical doctors that I had acquired in the past 15 to 20 years of living in One Location . so I Figured with the One stop advertising of everyone coming to you all in one building? WOW how can I go wrong?? So I discovered unfortunately, and yes at the risk of sounding racist- if your NOT Chinese - YOU WILL be spoken to and treated like your incompetent and definitely not wanted. I watch these secretaries emotionously offering no suggestions and solutions for a tearstrick and woman who and missed your appointment and desperately needed her life-saving medication refilled. I had to suggest that she asked the pharmacist to write an extended prescription till she was able to see the doctor. The secretaries said absolutely nothing to her and just kept offering of too bad so sad route even lecturing her about keeping her appointments if sooo important!? WOW Secretary's are sooo rude, obvious appalling bedside manner. They are actually not below eye rolling and huffing like abused teenagers when asked to fax a prescription. The very same secretaries who will tell you they couldn't possibly interrupt the doctor to get an emergency prescription refilled ( when u call in from ur pharmacy ) on the prescription that he had already made a mistake on, ( after lecturing me that he was not qualified to change my psychiatric medication like I requested when I go to the pharmacy I realize he had TRIPLED of the dosages of two of my most serious meds - an anticonvulsant and a very delicately dosed pill - I called 811 and confirmed if I had not caught this could I have died - considering not was 3xs over maximum dosage suggested; it was pretty conclusive I would have slowly poisoned course of a couple of days. And as your finally with doctor remember to expect those same secretaries to knock and just walk in and interrupt the doctor at least oh probably three times in your visit. Always speaking in Chinese elaborately getting him to fill out several forms and prescriptions etc. while you're sitting there patiently not knowing what's going on. The gynaecologist they have also felt necessary to actually lectured me in a manner suggesting as if "I was of loose morals" for requesting an immediate internal with pap upon first visit. Dude what we supposed be friend? Go on a date? Do your job. I have medical issues I want you to take care of now I don't have time to mess around I had serious issues I needed dealt with. I asked in September for this - after three ' getting to know me visit's (?!) and booking a ultrasound ?!) I finally got a pap in June!! And I had to call in a week and ask if they even got results... oh oh yeah come in I guess??? then they tell me it's abnormal don't worry though come Back in two years ?!? It could be stage three of four cancer by then ! How about three or six month check in's ??? He also said then upon my complaint of the services of a centre that I should perhaps drive back down to Red Deer when I want to see my own doctors?!? I live in north north Edmonton?! Wtf dr Han acts like he cares and listens, especially at first, but if your complicated medically or have a self esteem that doesn't take lightly to be treated like a secondary human- DO NOT GO! Waste of time and gas money. I swear by the end it wouldn't have surprise me if he was doing tic-tac-toes on that paper and nodding with a thoughtful expression going hmm uh huh it I see .. ‍

I came here on recommendation from a friend of mine and never looked back. Dr. Han actually listens…read moreto his patients and has helped me a lot. Dr Han looks at his patients as people and not just another patient. He does seem to be busy running around between patients but at the end of the day he is a thousand times better than my previous family doctor. The clinic is a walk-in but I usually make an appointment so I'm not sure how long walk-in wait times are.

I really appreciate that Alberta Cardiology is adopting modern technology to help streamline the…read morepatient experience. There are some great ideas here, but a few technical and operational adjustments would make a world of difference for their patient base. What works well: The automated text messaging concept is excellent. The reminder sequence is very helpful, and the one-click option to add the appointment directly to a smartphone calendar is a wonderful, highly convenient feature. Areas for improvement: Form Links and System Stability: The text links sent to fill out patient consent forms ahead of time appeared to have formatting issues and wouldn't open. As a retired IT manager, I tried accessing the forms manually through the website across multiple devices (Mac and PC) and isolated the network using both Wi-Fi and cellular data, but the site was completely down. It took a few days of periodic checking before the forms finally became accessible. It would be highly beneficial for the clinic to implement better quality assurance testing and monitoring to ensure these digital tools remain stable. Appointment Timing and Door Opening: The automated system asks patients to arrive 15 minutes early. Many seniors value punctuality and will naturally arrive 30 minutes early as a courtesy. However, the clinic doors remained locked until 9:35 AM. While waiting outside wasn't a major issue on a nice spring day, many seniors rely on transit or drop-offs and shouldn't have to wait outside in inclement weather. If you ask patients to be early, it would be a huge help if the doors opened an early to accommodate them. Conclusion: Because this is a cardiology clinic, many clients are elderly or managing stressful health conditions. When automation doesn't work smoothly or doors are locked, it can add unnecessary anxiety to an already stressful day. The tech concepts here are great, but taking the time to thoroughly test the software and coordinate clinic hours with automated messaging would create a much more comfortable, seamless experience for everyone. Additionally, providing a 24-hour blood pressure monitor is a great service for gathering practical data. However, the physical setup of the device could really use some improvement. The unit hangs around your neck, but the tubing hangs completely loose and unrestricted, making it quite awkward to get on with your day. This isn't rocket science or high-tech; simply including a basic belt clip or an attachment to secure the system properly would completely fix the issue and massively improve patient comfort.
