We have kayaked with Mike multiple times. He is one of the most knowledgeable guides I have met and clearly knows what he is doing. He is ultra responsive in making sure everyone in the group has a good and safe time. I would recommend him highly. read more

Usually we just rent a kayak for a few hours. You sign paperwork and they hand you your PFD and a kayak and off you go. This time we decided to go on a guided tour with Mike. From start to finish, we (myself, my husband, and my dad) all enjoyed every minute. Mike takes the time to teach you how to properly use a kayak and off you go. Not only is he a professional kayaker, but he is very knowledgeable and pationate about the waterways and protecting them. He also had great stories and a good sense of humor. He gave us options on the tour which were a lot of fun and changed things up from just paddling around - visiting the mangrove tunnel called "the church" (which was beautiful) and trying to navigate through the mangroves via a map in a mini-adventure. The tours are always private which allows you to set your own pace. Pricing is also very reasonable. I had a great time and didn't even realize till we got back to shore that we were out there for almost 4 hours... and it was time and money well spent. I would definitely do it again, and highly recommend it to families, couples, or groups of friends. read more

We had an amazing "Kayak at Dusk" experience with Mike Devlin. Mike shared his vast knowledge about kayaking and the area with us, making the experience both interesting and fun. He is passionate about what he does and we plan to book another tour with him next year when we are back in Florida. read more

This is my first YELP review, but i had such a blast kayaking the mangroves and bays of North Naples with my new buddy, Mike Devlin, i had to give him a shout-out. I found out Mike is a legend in the kayaking community in SW Florida, having started the Paradise Coast Kayakers Club 25 years ago, and being part of the diane naiad support team (she swam from Cuba to Key West). And Mike not only has local knowledge as to the best places to paddle, both for experienced as well as novices like myself, the mangrove tunnels were my favorite, he also checks the tides, currents and weather to make it the safest and most enjoyable trip possible. He's a very funny guy and gives you a ton of information on what's going on both above and below the water line. And he's really easy going... making for an absolutely fabulous afternoon. I highly recommend him. read more

Arrived for our 4 hour pontoon rental and we were told they only had us down for 2 hours. We explained that our reservation was for 4 hours and he said it wasn't a problem and most likely just a mistake in their computer and that he would "fix it". Off we go. Upon returning 4 hours later, we discover that his "fix" was to charge us almost double what we were quoted. When we tried to pull up our reservation that clearly said $240 for 4 hours, he explains that once the renters arrive and take the boat that the reservation is wiped from their system. How convenient! (If you still insist on being robbed by this place - do yourself a favor and take a screenshot of your reservation ). To make matters worse the guy was a total @$$hole about it. Not one apology or attempt to work it out. He was nasty and condescending. Horrible experience and I would recommend you stay away from this place. It's maritime robbery!!

They have the little open top kayaks you just sit on and paddle around, light and super easy. Plus, when you fall in (which one of us did) it's easy to get right back in the boat! We started out looking for Manatees around the Marina and then went exploring through tiny waterways through the mangrove forest. It was awesome! We'd be paddling along in these open areas and then duck through tiny gaps in the mangroves and pop out into our own private lakes and ponds, all connected by the water through little gaps in the forest. And there was no one else around, a great nature experience right out of the Everglades City Marina, and super easy too. Our guide, Wendell, was hilarious, a constant source of knowledge and jokes, he was super knowledgeable but not stuffy at all. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't just want to sit on the beach all day, it was easy, fun, and really different from the other activities available.

It was one of the best family experiences we've had, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Starting with the location, the resort is conveniently situated right off I-75 and is impossible to miss. The property is huge and offers plenty of parking. My only minor complaint is that there is very little shade in the parking lot. Check-in was quick and easy. Kirsten at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She answered all of our questions and made the arrival process seamless. Upon check-in, every guest receives a pair of wolf ears, which is a fun touch and makes everyone feel like part of the "pack." Our toddler was celebrating a birthday a few days later, so we purchased the birthday package, which was under $40 and absolutely worth it. It included two large balloon displays, a birthday poster, a special birthday wolf plush, birthday wolf ears, and a bag filled with toys and treats. One of the coolest perks was the included birthday cup, which could be filled at the candy bar in the gift shop. Our toddler loved leaving with a cup full of gummy bears! The resort's app is also very helpful. It provides a schedule of all the activities happening throughout the day. There are so many kid-friendly events offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The lobby itself is incredibly interactive and comes alive at night with story time, dance parties, and other entertainment. It's truly something you have to experience in person. The resort also has dining options on-site, including a full-service restaurant and smaller food spots such as Dunkin'. Of course, the biggest attractions are the Adventure Park and water park. The Adventure Park includes a ropes course, arcade, mini golf, bowling, and more. During our short stay, we spent our time in the arcade and water park. The arcade was a lot of fun and reasonably priced. Everything is loaded onto a prepaid card, making it easy to add money, track credits, and store tickets for prize redemption. The water park was the true standout. It is massive and has something for every age group. There are multiple play areas for younger children, exciting slides for older kids and adults, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a giant tipping bucket that drenches everyone below. And that's just the indoor water park. Outside, there is another large pool with a beach-style entry that gradually gets deeper. There are lounge chairs positioned right in the water, which made for a very relaxing experience. The outdoor area also includes a hot tub, bar, and convenient restroom facilities. One feature I especially appreciated was the wide variety of complimentary life jackets available for children of different ages and sizes. Being able to use them throughout the park was such a great benefit for families. Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. From the staff and activities to the water park and family-friendly atmosphere, Great Wolf Lodge delivered an incredible experience. We are already planning our next trip back!

The only reason I gave it a 4 is the overall affordability. It's a very pricey place. You pay for everything outside of what you pay for your room. Thank goodness it includes the waterpark passes. That was primarily why we were there. And we all enjoyed every minute. Outside of the water park we spent a lot of time in the Arcade. It was a lot of fun. A lot of tickets won and they walked away with some great prizes. Over all our stay was good. Room was nice and spacious. And comfortable. The activities on the lobby for the kids were great. Especially the story time. Watching our 2 year old grandson enjoy that was priceless.

The bathrooms and changing rooms were very clean. The slides are the most fun part of the park. The bigger looking one that requires you to go on with a floaty is the best and I also really like the side one. The lazy river is the most warmest for some reason. Hope it's not pee........ Overall a decent and pretty fun waterpark only if you are cold resistant and if you like slides and lazy rivers.
