Joel came out the same day to survey the damage. He was amazing! He brought in a plumber and an asbestos abatement team that we ended up needing, and made the entire process as painless as emergency home construction at Christmastime could possibly be. He even reached out to check on us the day after Christmas. Every single contractor he brought in was as nice, knowledgeable, and as professional as they could be, and they all worked with us to keep the costs down. Do not hesitate to call Damage Control Remediation! They're real pros!

Great experience on a moments notice!…read more We had a flood over our kitchen floor. Joel came out the same day I called him to assess the damage. He provided an estimate for removing damage and dehumidifiers. After cutting out the area he determined the water intrusion did not require equipment and reduced the cost of the job dramatically. The quality of work was excellent. Containment was placed during the work and edges left clean and taped off.

We live in Everett, here in Snohomish County. I called Signature Restoration in a panic, and their 24/7 emergency service was immediate and professional. Andrew arrived quickly and took charge of the crisis. He walked us through the entire process, starting with the necessary mitigation (all the water extraction and technical structural drying). What truly sets this company apart is that Andrew and the team didn't just dry it out and leave; they handled the entire job! They performed the complete repair and restoration of the damaged areas, leaving the space looking immaculate--honestly, better than it looked before the flood. If you are in the King County or Snohomish area and need a company you can trust for prompt, full-service Water Damage Restoration, look no further. Highly, highly recommend Andrew and the experts at Signature Restoration LLC.

Water Leak Remediation. Would not commence work without my signing a contract I was not allowed to…read moreread while my house was actively flooding. Demolished custom kitchen cabinets they had been forbidden to touch from the beginning, illustrating either not understanding the difference between restoration and remodeling and/or simply ignoring the preferences of the homeowner. Team members consigned items to "trash" that were NOT trash, including a roll of almost-new carpeting that could have been used to re-carpet the stairs from which they tore carpeting (unnecessarily). Used far more dehumidifiers 24/7 than necessary, and for a week to 10 days longer than necessary. Can't wait to get the electricity bill. Allowed crew to use a carport (not part of house) as a shortcut for their crew to carry demolished flooring to their truck, leaving it with a broken door, boxes of garbage and boxes they had packed to take to storage but did not take. Left refrigerators and a full freezer without power, resulting in hundreds of dollars' worth of spoiled food, its smell, and requiring remediation on the main fridge for the lingering smell. After stating they were finished, we were left with nails sticking up out of floors on both levels of home; drywall dust and paste everywhere both inside the house, and outside on the front steps and driveway; a large pile of demolished plywood subflooring, and the above-mentioned boxes of garbage. The large panel of drapes from a sliding door had been tossed outside in a heap, now wet, stained and drywall-dusted. At this point, they were fired. WORST OF ALL, they have still not provided--a month later--either me or my insurance company with either an INVENTORY or the location of virtually all of my possessions taken to storage from my home. So was this remediation of water damage or the world's slowest home robbery?

From the start, they stood out as trustworthy, responsive, and highly professional, everything I didn't get from other companies I initially contacted. General Manager Jakob was outstanding, communicative, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout a stressful process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and always responded quickly to my questions. The crew, Dwayne and Kyle, were equally impressive. They were punctual, respectful, and extremely careful in their work. They contained the demo area perfectly, which was especially important with a small child at home, maintained excellent air quality, and were very intentional about minimizing damage. Everything, from cabinetry to countertops, was handled with care, and the workspace was kept as clean as possible. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made a difficult situation much easier. I highly recommend Poseidon Restoration. Jakob, Dwayne, and Kyle were fantastic.

The communication regarding when workers would be there was zero- unless we contacted and asked for information. The workers would show up hours after their supervisor said they would be there, and on two occasions, not at all, with no communication to let us know that they wouldn't be there. Repainting had to be done 3 times - wrong color; painting over drywall mud they left on trim from repairing holes they cut in walls. Flooring had to be placed twice because they forgot to use the underlayment that was sitting next to the boxes of flooring. While reflooring, they removed a baseboard heater and tried to shove it under the bathroom cabinet - laying floor in front of it. In order to remove heater, flooring had to come out or be scratched up. The wiring that needed to be capped off was taped up with painters tape instead, with power left on. They left the common areas filthy with construction dust and debris. We cleaned these areas after they left, on many occasions. They left garbage from the renovation for us to dispose of. Because we left an unfavorable review on the sign off papers, they hounded us with phone calls afterward. Their bill to our property management company was inflated and included areas that were not damaged. Workers took personal phone calls while working and talked while "working" on replacing our drywall and paint - not paying attention to what they were there to do. Parts of our vanity, sliding doors and toilet were thrown away by work crew and had to be replaced. We finally became so disgusted with the quality of workmanship that we asked them to leave with work uncompleted. They wanted to come back, but we are not allowing them access.

They basically inherited the business and experience from Clean Crawls (which was a big name contractor around King and Snohomish years ago.) We met 2 people from Patrick's crew, they were polite, hardworking, and super chill. The crew always showed up on time -- which is saying something because I-5 can be so unpredictable. Pat kept me in the loop the whole time with updates and photos of the damage. We're first-time homeowners and Pat took the time to explain things to us. Gave us tips etc. Straight-up, no BS or NO upsells! The work they did for us was top-tier. I am a "perfectionist" and I was happy with how everything turned out. If you see your home as an investment (because it is), Pat and his crew should be your go-to. The best part is they're honest. None of that, "Oh, we didn't include this in the original quote because we didn't see X, Y, Z coming." The guys on the crews been around for 15 YEARS and pretty much know what's probably going on beneath the surface before they even start. They handle all sorts of things like crawl space work, drainage, insulation, vapor barriers--the works. If you got a house problem, they got a solution. ** One thing to note: they are super hands-on and always busy, so if you call and don't get through, give it another shot. I think my wife said she called them 2-3 times because the crew's always on the road. **

So, when my portable AC leaked onto my flooring last night, I knew who I was going to contact. I called when they opened, and found out that he was booked for the next week. I decided to send him a message to see if there was a company he would recommend to me. He actually responded immediately and said that he'd be able to squeeze me in! You have no idea how grateful I was to hear that. He gave me two time options, and called me when he was on the way. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. I've had quite a few companies do various types of jobs for me, and there are only two who I'd recommend. Mathew with Puget Sound Water Rescue is one of them!
