She is thorough, personable and extremely knowledgeable. I see her 2-3 times a year. Some other reviewers have rightfully noted some challenges with the support she gets from her office staff. Some staff are extraordinary others make it clear that you are a bother to them and don't bother to follow up on issues. Dr. Agrawal recently announced that she will be starting a new practice and I imagine that many of those issues will be addressed.

A Dr. Patel emailed me saying she was filling in for Wexler and would send a script into CVS Specialty for me. That was over a week ago, and I still have no medicine because CVS Specialty claims Dr. Patel sent them an incomplete script. I sent a message regarding this to Dr. Patel, and all I got was an out of the office response. So, the circus starts all over again. I am disappointed with MedStar to allow such poor care to be acceptable. Their doctors are overworked, and I wonder if Dr. Wexler even has a staff based on the nonresponses I've received for so long. It is unbelievable ill people must go through so much just to get a prescription. If you want a doctor who responds to your needs, look for someone who cares enough to read his e-mails and has a staff who calls back.

My condition was getting worse. Other endocrinologists were unable to help and all of their effort was to constantly change my medications without any explanation and no results. I always felt rushed during my doctor visits with them especially after having had to wait in the waiting room for long periods, which was very inconvenient and useless.  Dr. Tashko is one of the very few doctors I know who is extremely passionate about his profession. He takes time to make sure all my questions are answered. He works with me to address my health concerns and makes sure I understand my course of treatment and action. He makes sure we are on the same page and understanding. He takes his time to explain the prescriptions and their side-effects, how they work, and the science behind them. He discusses several options, the outcome of each, and which best works with my lifestyle for the best result. I have NEVER seen a doctor who cared so much. He always prints out handouts for me to take home and he directs me to related articles and resources to educate me on my health condition. Hands down, Dr. Tashko is one of the best doctors and I'm so blessed to have met him and have him as my endocrinologist. I was introduced to Dr. Possner by a good friend. There are not enough words to describe how…read morethankful I am for this introduction. From the first meeting I had with Dr. Possner, I knew things would be vastly different and that I had found someone that would have a profound impact on my health. My first appointment was the longest time I had ever spent with a doctor. My appointment was 2 hours and Dr. Possner had fully reviewed my medical records and engaged me in thoughtful conversation about my medical history. I left my initial appointment with a feeling of empowerment over my health that I had never really felt before. Little did I know that the impact of having Dr. Possner as my doctor would happen so quickly. I was on vacation and had an acute UTI. It was after business hours, but I was able to call the office and get the on call doctor that happen to be Dr. Possner. I walked him through my symptoms and he immediately called in a prescription for me. Because he had such knowledge of my history it was easy for us to communicate and talk through my symptoms. He checked on me via email through the client portal several times over the next couple of days to ensure I was ok. The fact that I was in a remote part of a different state and I was able to call and speak with the doctor saved me stress and the hassle of finding an urgent care to go to. He has made several recommendations to other specialists and doctors, all of whom have turned out to be amazing. His referral goes a long way with each specialist I have scheduled an appointment with. I can't recommend Dr. Possner enough; he's a great listener, thoughtful, caring, kind and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing. His follow through is simply amazing.

When he came to see me, I told him that I am here to check on the level of my thyroid. He said he is a thyroid surgeon, not Endocrinologist. How ever, he ordered a lab work that has nothing to my inquiry. He also suggested I need to see an internist for the inquiry that he is a surgeon, not Endocrinologist. Interestingly, they charged me $242 for the service that has nothing to do for what I came for to see him. The next day, I went to endocrinologist doctor , which I got all the service I needed. After that, I called back to talk to Dr. Zorc's office manager to request a refund since I did not get the service I came for. The lady, who was not willing to give her name was rude and hangup the phone on me. I believe ethics must play the role and Dr. Zorc must refund the service charge that I paid for. Unfortunately, the vast majority of gynecologists still rely on outdated, one-size-fits-all recommendations and often treat hormones as something inherently dangerous. Dr. Simon's approach is refreshing because he encourages informed discussions and recognizes that every woman's situation is different. I sincerely hope Dr. Simon receives the support and resources he needs to educate his colleagues and help change the landscape of menopause care. Women deserve better-informed, individualized treatment options. His office staff has been helpful. Lisa is wonderful; she has been attentive, compassionate, and very responsive, and I truly appreciate how promptly she communicates and follows up. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to get an appointment. It took about four months to get my first appointment and another six weeks to get a second appointment to discuss treatment options.
