Juliana was very patient with the kids and helped walk them step by step in making a cute butterfly cake. The kids were encouraged to follow directions but were left to be creative as well. There was a separate area for eating pizza and then the demonstration cake after. All of the kids went home with smiles on their faces and their own cake (which was fairly large given that there were 8 of them). I can't speak for the two negative reviews here, but they were either isolated incidents or things have improved substantially. It's a two-hour party, so expecting to bake cupcakes, have them cool, decorate them, and also have pizza and a birthday celebration/cake is completely unreasonable. If you have a kid who is at all interested in baking, they will have a great time. Definitely recommend!
