I can't say enough good things about Two Frogs Hugging!…read more I visited during their annual sale while helping a client furnish and update his home. He had not purchased new furniture in over 20 years and was understandably hesitant about making such a large investment. Thanks to the incredible selection, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service, the experience exceeded all of our expectations. We furnished much of his home with beautiful, high-quality pieces, including a teak dining table with a glass top, a headboard and matching nightstands, oversized British-style chairs, an outdoor swing with a canopy, gorgeous accessories, and stunning silk floral arrangements. Every piece was carefully chosen and has transformed his home. What truly made the experience exceptional was working with Susi. She was patient, knowledgeable, and attentive every step of the way. She listened carefully to what we were trying to accomplish, respected our budget, and helped us find pieces that perfectly matched my client's style and needs. Shopping for furniture can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Susi made it enjoyable and stress-free. The result? My client has been absolutely thrilled with every purchase. Seeing how much he enjoys his updated home has been incredibly rewarding, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome myself. Since then, I have returned to Two Frogs Hugging many times--both for my own home and with other organizing clients. The quality, selection, and customer service continue to impress me. It's one of my favorite stores on Kauai, and I recommend it without hesitation. Mahalo to Susi and the entire team for consistently providing such a wonderful shopping experience. -- Pattie Krebs, Owner Organize My Mess Kauai

Hopefully they will "yelp" the actual address, but you cant miss it. It's between the old hotel and little market opposite the Aloha Theatre. Ms. Wold was in the gallery, and her work looked nice, but it was the turned bowls, vases and platters of her husband that caught my eye. Mr. Bader has an excellent sense of design and proportion. I like very simple, modern forms and his turnings reminded me of what exotic woods would look like in the hands of Eva Zeisel or George Nelson. He uses local woods and his pieces sometimes take 6 months from conception to completion. The first turning takes to wood down to 1" thickness, where it is allowed to dry and cure for 6 months before the final turning, when thicknesses as minimal as 1/8" are achieved. The lighter colored wood he uses is even translucent. He had a large non-functional platter that would make a cool wall hanging with a light behind it. These are not salad bowls! The pieces are not cheap but considering the work involved and the beauty of the design, I would consider them a very good value. I've seen a lot of wood carving on the Islands over the years, and this is by far the finest I've seen--the difference between a craftsman and an artist. I'll save my sheckels for my next visit to Kauai!
