I didn't buy it, but did succumb to the temptation of a beautiful sterling silver seahorse pendant. It was handcrafted, heavy, not kitchy at all and on sale for half price. Who could resist all that? They no longer carry the fabulous surfboard showers. Everyone admired them but nobody bought them. Like me. There are a wide variety of shops run by the nicest, most down to earth people. Our favorite shop is The Local Beet, where they sell all products made and/or grown locally. The owners, Melissa and Kevin, are super knowledgeable about everything they sell, and are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Over the past 30 years , we've spent a lot of time in Kauai. My wife says that all her favorite local products are at Local Beet, and some products she's never seen. In addition, they don't raise the prices like some stores.
