It had a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms with a total of four beds. I loved the bed. The mattress was soft and super comfortable. The kitchen had the essentials. They do provide beach towels. We did have to ask for more towels for the shower. They do also have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is a hairdryer in the room. The ranch is big with a lot of animals to see. The animals are well taken care of by the friendly staff members. The petting zoo is a great place to take your family into. The animals are all friendly and get along well. They have activities you can partake in for a fee, but if you spend more than two nights in the rooms some are included. The beach area was very nice. It was clean and the water was perfect. They have plenty to keep your kids entertained in the beach area. The pool was nice as well. It had a hot tub. You could rent a golf cart, but the ranch is pretty walkable. They do sell food during the day and you can order a three course meal for dinner. The three course meal can be eaten in your room or at Flo. You can take your own bottle of wine to Flo if you want to eat your meal there. We did the dinner and got the steak, the salmon and the eggplant Parmesan. The salmon was a hit. I will say that I think the meal was pre- package or pre prepared because it wasn't as fresh coming out. They do have a spa, but be aware that it can book up pretty quick. We were not able to get a reservation for massages. They do send you a link to set up your extras prior to your visit, so if you are looking forward to something, get ahead of time. They sell their own honey and you can buy a dozen eggs for five dollars. We received a welcome gift of honey and sourdough bread. We ate the first day we were there and it was delicious. They also have complementary snacks and drinks in the check-in area for guest. They did have a food truck area where they sell items such a as chicken tenders, fries, and ice cream. We were told there was 160 people on the property yet it felt peaceful and private the whole time we were there. I was truly in heaven,. I would not hesitate to return. Definitely a great place for families or weekend with your girlfriends.

I brought my 3 kids with me along with my sister (w/ 2 kids) and another niece of mine (7 in total). The ride to the property was easy and enjoyable along the back roads of Texas and when we arrived we found the property to be amazingly beautiful and peaceful. Check in was not formal and we drove to our lodge and walked in and unpacked. The 1st person we met was the Cook! Grady was very welcoming to us and after I explained food limitations for one of our party he bent over backward to accommodate our needs and did a fantastic job with our breakfast and dinner menus!!!! The Chicken Fried Steak was the best I have ever had. We enjoyed our evenings together at dinner and just hanging out at the fire pit or playing games back at the lodge. During the days we walked around the property and visited the many different livestock (cows, horses, donkeys, turkeys, a duck, and some rabbits). Taunia also organized a gun shoot for us hosted by a cowboy named Brian. He taught us a few things about shooting shotguns. We also went to a nearby pond, did some fishing, and caught a good many large mouth bass. But the highlight for all was the horseback trail ride hosted by John and his son-in-law Craig (real cowboys themselves). John put us all at ease by giving us some good lessons on what do and what not to do and threw in some great stories. Then we took off with our horses for about 2 hours into the pastures and along and through some tree lines and up and down some gullies. None of us had much experience at all with horses but we were all able to get on them and ride them confidently after our training. It was a fun and relaxing ride and the horses were well behaved and trained to not do anything unexpected. The last day of the weekend was spent sleeping in and having a late breakfast and saying goodbye to all of our new 4-legged friends. Thanks again Taunia, John, Craig, Grady and Brian for all of you're horsepitality and kindness. This was exactly what this family of city dwellers needed to charge our batteries a bit. She had to wait while the rest of us finished eating, and by the time we got someone's attention, the other food locations had closed, leaving her without a meal. Guest Relations offered bowling and mini golf as compensation, but there were less than 30 minutes left to use them. We tried bowling anyway, only to have balls get stuck and pins become tangled repeatedly. We had to find an employee around 8 times before giving up. Our room also repeatedly became extremely hot even after adjusting the thermostat, making it difficult to get comfortable or sleep. Even the children's water area had issues. Glass was brought into the area and broken, causing it to temporarily close. We also experienced inconsistent enforcement of the children's area rules. When a lifeguard in orange Elijah would hold the door for children to escape then cornered my 2 year old daughter shaming her for doing what every other kid was doing playing in the water at the bottom of the slide. Overall, we spent far too much of our trip trying to find employees, deal with broken amenities, and get basic issues addressed. For the price, I expected much better customer service, working amenities, and a comfortable room. Unfortunately, the water park was the only part of the experience that lived up to our expectations.

It was a cooler April morning and my spa room I was put in was cold. My therapist hands were cold as well. I asked right away if she could adjust the a/c and she said no. She did go get me another blanket. The message was very good but my feet were cold the whole time. I put my swim suit on and headed to the hot tub thinking this will be great. Hot tub was not even heated yet for the day - put was on. When I asked about it they said to go to the front desk. The lady scurried to turn it on. Also the Bathrooms needed toilet paper. There were No towels by the pool. No cushions on pool lounge chairs as shown in pictures. You would think when you first open up in the morning you would have everything ready and put out. A quick tour or instructions would be nice too. For the prices we paid the attention to detail so lacked. I asked where the showers where and was told none and that only certain services included a shower. So if you want to go to a really cool place and pay 5 star prices and the little details don't care to you, then this is your place. I'm so disappointed since I wanted to take a friend there when she came to visit. My take away is that their bread and butter are the overnight guests who sign up for the detox program. It's too bad since they could have a good amount of clientele who are just looking for a nice spa.

The buffett at Harrison's had the proper foods for this event, however for $75 per person, it's seriously over-priced. The bars outside had no tiki specials (mai-tai?, zombie? painkiller?) aside from the not-yet-ready frozen pina coladas). The worst part of the bar situation was the exorbitant prices. No-name wine for $23/glass??? Premium wine for $26??? Banquet/plain mixed drinks for almost $30??? That explains the extremely poor customer usage of the bars--virtually empty the entire time. This should tell management something about how they priced things. With reasonable pricing and themed drinks, they could have had a much better guest experience. The band and dancers did a decent job. They were definitely the most authentic part of the event. So, Woodlands Resort, if you were disappointed with the low number of diners and drinkers at the luau, it's the prices that you set that limited your purchases. Staying at Belas Resort Wills ,Texas Tiny home (#100) was one of the worst experience my family…read moreendured for a short weekend vacation. Once we arrived at the cabin, and got settled in cabin 100 and we noticed that the TV didn't work in the living room. The internet was so slow we couldn't use our iPads. There were no extra trash bags only the one in the trash can. The refrigerator light and icemaker was broken. Hours later we noticed the freezer was not working so our food defrosted. The beds were horrible.... the queen and king size mattresses for sunken the middle. Felt like we were sleeping on the floor and there was loud buzzing sound all night. There were only 3 face towels and 3 drying towels for 5 people for two days. We called for service and the property manager came over. She could not fix the fridge or the TV. She said she would call maintenance man but he never showed up. We never got more towels, but she did drop off trash bags by the front door. We text and called about the maintenance man, but the property management would not respond. Even after we left on Sunday we never got a respond from anyone. We did not get what we paid for and management was not professional. I will share this experience with everyone I know. Do not stay at Belas , Willis, Texas

This property had the potential to be a great weekend get-away, however, it fell short…read more The inside of the cabin was clean, well maintained and had the needed items - except for the pans that were non-stick and very damaged to the point that we did not use them. The property itself needs to be given much needed cleaning. There was trash all over the property, half painted decks, boards popping up on the deck with the potential of tripping over and just an overall feeling of yuck. Because the property is actually not on the larger body of Lake Conroe, it was more of a pond with very shallow water. Because of that at times there was a rotting smell from the water. The cabins are VERY close together, so close, you can actually touch the cabins next door. This also results in hearing people stomp to their cabins, at 1am, to the "lake" side of their cabin. Being the middle of March, we expected the pool to be cold, but hopefully the hot tub would be enjoyable - the hot tub did not work - it was colder than the pool. There was a nice cabana type sitting area with a fire pit, but it appeared to be damaged with a bag of rocks on top of it. The lights that were around the cabana were half hanging/half laying on the ground. There is a common inside area that has a pool table. There are missing balls and the pool table is significantly damaged and extremely dirty. There is a beach area which was mostly sand, half constructed cabanas, a torn down fence in a pile for a bonfire. We didn't even go out far onto the beach because it was half sand/half dirt. The bait shop was fully stocked and the employees there were very helpful and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our trip because we had an amazing time exploring the area and the family time we had together. Again, the cabin meet all our basic needs. The property has the potential to be great, but it is not there at this time.
