The lines were literally outside wrapped around the corner how the sandwiches were prepared and how unexpressive they were. The owner always had a smile regardless of this giant stand behind the counter and smiled at you it was warming. The sandwiches were ridiculously delicious. And then they sold it to someone who was trying too hard to make it rich, so the portions became small smaller, but the bread stayed the same. Let's just see if you want lettuce sandwich with a little bit of meat you go to bogey hoagie. Don't know how it is now they have a pizzeria working anymore, but I haven't been there in two years because the portions have changed regardless of who's in the White House or not. if you're gonna raise the price raise the price but don't change the portions. I personally believe that greed has ruined this establishment. The sandwiches are still good, but the portions are shit. And if you order a cheesesteak, God forbid. It's real steak but it looks like steak them in. They overcook it so it's almost like leather and God forbid you asked for onions and peppers or cheese cause you're gonna get charged extra for what a cheesesteak belongs with. I mean, the place looks nice inside, but it's a weird environment ever since it was sold. Enter at your own Will, but the portions are shit.

I had that "Jersey Meat" (Taylor ham or pork roll, whatever you call it) egg and cheese but I'm happy I listened to the owner here and also got the Chopped Cheese. This breakfast sandwich was stellar but the Chopped Cheese was very possibly the best one I've ever had. The Jersey meat had a hard sear to it, which I love. Plenty of meat, cheese, and eggs on a fresh hard (Kaiser) roll. I got it with just pepper. Jersey meat is salty enough on its own and I typically don't rock ketchup with eggs. This would have been awesome with a splash of hot sauce though. Great sandwich. The chopped cheese was the hero here though. This was on a fresh jersey long roll and the seasoning in the meat was fantastic. Best seasoned ground beef I've probably ever had for a chopped cheese. Plenty of cheese, the roll, and the toppings were all very complimentary. The sauce is great on this as well. I got that extra drizzle overtop and I'm pumped I did. I had a side of it as well and trust me, I used it. Do not pass on this sandwich if you come here. The owner here is awesome, the food is great, plenty of parking on the streets around the business in a residential area, and the price is right. Salt Pepper Ketchup - Didn't Suck!

After the ownership change, the menu changed towards a Latin pallet. Good for their menu and business based on their customer base. Nice to see they listen to their customers. Stopped in for a bagel with cream cheese and a side of home fries. Bagel was as expected. Large and lots of cream cheese. You won't go hungry eating this. Word of warning...I'm a bit of a home fries connoisseur. Home fries were disappointing. They were warm (not hot) and was probably 1/2 of a potato. Nothing else in it. Definitely not getting this ever again, especially for $4. Stick with sandwiches and bagels here.

Being this was a late start for me, I decided to try this place I drive by everyday. I get a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on a hard roll. The guy at the counter was very nice. That's honestly what's boosting this to two stars. Service was excellent. Unfortunately, service can't satisfy my palate. The cheese was virtually non-existent. Taylor ham was paper thin and scarse. The egg wasn't far behind. It was almost as if I was eating a Taylor Ham flavored roll with ketchup, salt and pepper; which I must say, the sandwich didn't lack spice. The bagels may be a different story, but for the TEC, the search continues.
