The prices for a partial set of highlights and lowlights in Houston will run you on average $150.00+, Melinda does a FULL set of high and low + a hair cut for almost half the price! Not only are her prices awesome, my hair has never looked better. Amazing stylist, hidden away in a cute little town.

Marie took considerable time designing a modern and stylish establishment. It is a small town salon with a luxurious atmosphere. You will not feel like you are still in Leesville while pampering yourself at Eyecandi. Some complaints I heard about Eyecandi was the cost and lack of appointments. From my experience, Eyecandi was not more expensive than other local stylists or salons. Even if the prices were higher, sometimes you have to pay a little more for quality. Marie does exceptional work. If for some reason someone is unhappy with Eyecandi's services, Marie takes every measure to ensure her clientele is happy and leaves the salon looking and feeling fantastic. As far as setting up appointments, I personally would not want to see a stylist who is not busy. Marie is booked because she has hundreds of return clients and many referrals due to her unique capabilities. I ensured I made my appointments in advance. If I ever move back to Leesville, I will definitely be Marie's client.

She went as far as to state that she "couldn't stop crying" because the outcome was that bad. Despite all of this, the stylist and also the owner REFUSED A REFUND. They both refused any accountability altogether. As hair professionals, they blamed the integrity of the clients hair. Receipts show the client asking if the service was possible and the stylist said ABSOLUTELY. As customers, we rely on a person calling themself a professional to have good judgement and to trust what they say. Not every service will be a success, and that's understandable. However, when a service results in clear damage rather than improvement, the client should not be expected to pay for that outcome. Period.

I went in with almost a black shadow root(that wasn't really what I asked for), but after 3 very amazing and lasting transformations, I'm back to where I was suppose to be and such a decent cost! I not only enjoy my time there, but also appreciate the hospitality and great conversation both artist offer.
