Dr. Hofmann is a very skilled dentist who has treated me excellently through the last few years. I first came to him for a second opinion when I had been told by another dentist that I needed a crown. Dr. Hofmann explained to me that a crown was the "easy" fix , but in fact the tooth could be preserved for at least the time being. That was almost 6 years ago and my tooth has done great. His conservative approach not only shows his integrity, but also saved me money and preserved my tooth. Dr. Hofmann has also done several mission trips to underprivileged countries to donate his services of dental care to the needy. He is a man of faith and will talk the Bible with you while working on you if you like, but also respects if that is not what you want. His office is not modern by any means and some areas have some clutter but I have never worried about cleanliness problems or about anything not being sterile. He is a man of integrity and a professional and I trust that. I will take his skills and perfectionism any time I need dental work!

He's FANTABULOUS! I had a root canal performed on tooth #12 (a molar) in two sessions. I felt no pain during or after either session. His assistant is also very nice & accomodating. I highly reccomend him :) Thanks again Dr. Sampeck :D Parking: If you don't want to valet park, which is all the building offers, you can park at the shopping area right next to the building. I love the Aspen Dental House in Dallas, but I no longer have dental insurance and found Maple Dental Center on Groupon. I know, you shouldn't go cheap on your teeth, but mine are healthy and just needed a cleaning. Well, I had been having some trouble with sensitivity, and the stuff the dentist put all over my teeth as a protectant was not pleasant as compared to other dental places (it came off as soon as I left), the cleaning wasn't as thorough but good enough, and he suggested I get a full blown cap on my tooth in case it was cracked and he couldn't see it through the microscope. This is a regular problem for me, so I know the cap was unnecessary. Anyways, I paid the extra $30 for the teeth protectant like I always have at places in the past, and they overcharged my card by $60. I went to this place in April and just received my refund check at the end of July. The bad part is that the front desk people are not THAT fluent in English, so talking to people about the overcharge was extremely complicated. Also, I called them daily for two weeks before someone would finally answer the phone (supposedly their phone system was messed up). Not worth the hassle- just go somewhere good and pay the price. You truly do get what you pay for!

( Dr. Blackburn DDS) is my new dentist, and does some amazing restoration work as well as general upkeep for me. Together, we are always working on my treatment plan, and fitting it into my budget!!!!!!!!!! I don't know much about Insurance plans, but my not so widely accepted plan is honored here, and that lady at the front is on top of her job!!!! Don't let the location or facade fool you.... From living in four states over five years, and having a change of insurers in between a few times, it means we've probably seen about 10 different dentists and a multitude of hygienists between my husband and I. Our experience for our first visit at GF Dental was hands-down the best experience we've had so far. The office was organized, well-staffed, clean as a whistle, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. The process to make an appointment was easy and I love that you can fill out all of your forms online. I absolutely hate spending 20 minutes filling out forms and needing to arrive early before my appointment, so this is a huge plus. Their covid-prevention measures were also impressive. They have a system where they retrieve you from your car at your appointment time and then take your temperature, blood pressure, and other vitals upon arrival. They took tons of extra precautions during the appointment to sanitize everything and keep you and their staff safe. My husband joked before we arrived "this is going to be a weird dentist visit since we're wearing masks..." but of course they had all of the bases covered of course, so it was otherwise a "normal" visit to the dentist. Dr. Loehrlein spent her few minutes with each of us actually talking to us in depth about our dental health and also made an effort at small-talk with each of us. I know dentists are super busy when they're making their rounds and it was a full load of patients in the office from what I could tell, so the fact she even made an effort to chat about something other than teeth really speaks volumes about her as a professional and someone who is clearly invested and interested in her patients. Our dental hygienist Lisa was also FABULOUS - she was SO friendly and reassuring throughout the cleaning and pre-exam process. Neither of us are particularly squeamish nor fearful of dental work; however, in this staff's hands, I think even the most dentist-averse patients would feel totally at ease and calm. As mentioned, this is our latest choice of dentists in our new home in Rowlett, but am glad we made the choice of selecting this practice and looking forward to many good years being patients here.
