Be careful! This is a super expensive place just scammers! I was scammed into paying more than I…read moreshould have! We just called to the office but the doctor's assistant is such a shameless liar! My surgery for 1 tooth extraction was on Friday, they charged me more than I should have, charged me extra for deep sleeping anesthesia. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. At 9:04 am I went into the surgery room with the doctor's assistant (there was a monitor with the time right in front of me). I waited for the doctor until 9:30 am (when dr.Shillingburg came in, I looked at the time on the monitor again). A few minutes later I got an injection from deep sleep . They called to my husband at 10:01am so he could pick me up! I'm 100% sure surgery was about 30 minutes, maybe even less!! But the doctor's assistant lied so much that the surgery lasted 47 minutes! REALLY??? And she said the surgery started at 8:52am! What a shame! Omg ! Check your cameras before lying to a patient who trusted you! At 8:52am, I was still standing at the checkout, sorting out the bill you gave me and trying to add $3,000 for an additional service I didn't need, in addition to $3,313 for one tooth extraction! I asked for it to be removed because the bill was already huge! It was about 6.000$ ! CRAZY ! They are the most expensive in this area, but they turned out to be such scammers! I'm shocked!

I've thought about this review for a while and realized today as I went in for a routine cleaning…read moreat another practice why it's important that I post. This was by far my worst experience in any dental/medical office. The dental hygienist and office manager from August 2024 are excluded from this review. Those two were wonderful, attentive, and understanding. My new provider told me today that my filling performed at this Aspen Dental location is retaining liquid and needs to be redone to prevent further damage. I thought, "Yeah, that sounds about right," because I remembered the Aspen Dental dentist literally teaching the dental assistant how to do her job AS THEY WERE PERFORMING THE FILLING. Apparently, the assistant was fresh out of school and I was lucky patient #1. The horrors did not stop there. The doctor recommended I try Invisalign despite having perfectly straight teeth my entire life. He asked me if I needed an electric toothbrush. I said no but was considering getting a new one in the future. My response somehow translated as, "Yeah, sure! Stick this $200 electric toothbrush on her bill without her knowledge!" I only found out that I had purchased the toothbrush at my follow-up appointment the next week when they handed it to me. That's not even the worst of it. I called them after I started having a reaction to some fluoride gel they prescribed me for my gingivitis. I told the receptionist that I was getting canker sores, and she straight up told me to keep using it. That the gel would actually help! Me, not knowing I wasn't speaking to a dental professional, listened to her and was in severe pain for several weeks. The hygienist was horrified when I came in for a check up. I had never been in that much pain in my life. Please do not go here. The sales tactics are predatory and misleading. The bedside manner is non-existent. If you truly care about your teeth and your health, please seek dental care elsewhere.

I've…read morebeen embarrassingly and regrettably neglectful of my teeth and gums by whole life, so naturally I was very nervous heading into my exam. The nurse that took my x-rays was super sweet and the dentist himself was very helpful in telling me what was wrong and how I should fix it. The highlight of my trip however was the gum specialist, Melina. She was the sweetest person I've ever met and relieved so much anxiety during my treatment. You can tell she genuinely cares and she's certainly skilled at her profession. Deep cleanings are never fun, but I suppose it was the best possible experience I could've asked for given the circumstances. Minimal pain and very informative on how to take care of myself going forward. I would highly recommend this dental office and I actually am looking forward to going back and showing off the amount of progress I've made with my oral health. 5 stars isn't nearly enough to express how great my experience was!

Should not have allowed myself to be rushed into this procedure. Before agreeing to a bridge…read moreimplant, do your research online - lots of research. The office video of a young woman biting into an apple - don't trust it and don't do it. That phone call from Dr Vickers - mine came at 10pm, maybe later, the night of my surgery. Dr left a message asking how I was doing. Ha! I was not a bit coherent and totally asleep. I doubt I saw the Dr more than 5 minutes total from beginning to the time the office released me - 5 weeks earlier than originally told. Instead of a video about the longevity of an implant, effort could be better spent on after care such as: what kind of problems to be aware of, what to watch for, etc. I thought I was the patient. Instead I had to be a detective trying to decide if post surgical issues were normal, realizing I was charged for services not given, asking for a refund, trying to get a surgical report that might have helped me understand what the surgeon did or didn't do, why I was having problems recovering from the surgery, etc. No questions were adequately addressed on follow-up visits. The surgical report was unreadable and worthless. I get a better report after a flu shot than what this surgical report offered - a bunch of incoherent scribbling. The office has some good employees - use them to transcribe a surgery report. Courtney was a wonderful, helpful tech. Her abilities are impressive. However, on my last visit when the final bridge was going to be measured, Courtney had the day off and a new employee was working with me. Was this a coincidence or calculated? I'll never know, but I am suspicious. The office literature says it is not a corporation. Oh yes it is. The office system works like a big corporation where the process seems to be calculated by an analyst who offers advice on how to grow the business, make more money and work less hours. I'm not making this up. Search the Internet. Honestly, I don't think this Surgeon would like this kind of patient care for his family members.
