I just finished, yet again, recommending Pauline Carides to a friend. I no longer live in the area…read morebut when I did, I went to Pauline. She thinks outside the box, she engages, she recommends, she listens, and she cares. I see a poor review on here. To the person who wrote that review, I'm so sorry to hear that something went terribly wrong for you. It sounds awful. I can't imagine how it could have happened, though, so I'm scratching my head a bit. Pauline is very professional. Anyway, I highly recommend her, especially if you have a real sticky or unusual problem, or you feel you are "different" in some way. Pauline is an intelligent, creative, problem-solver.

Not only does she encourage me to change my reactions and behavior to help with my issues, but she's also an excellent resource for recommending other resources and techniques in many other areas. She keeps training and is very knowledgeable about a wide range of therapies, including ones that are not in her specialty. More than once she has spent her own time getting recommendations for me for family members who needed help. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to refer someone to her. She is worth every penny I have spent because she helped me realize what I need in my life to be a happier and healthier person all around.

She charges patients $25.00 to write an RX if it isn't written during the session. She discriminates against anyone who is physically disabled and cannot always make it into an appt, so she does phone sessions and writes phone session on your bill so your insurance carrier cannot reimburse you. This is against the law. If you are permanently disabled and unable to come into an appt, a Dr, by law cannot discriminate AGAINST YOU by writing phone session. It is a SESSION. PERIOD. I had visited other doctors and had little success and was ready to give up - literally. I told her my problems, told her what I had read and what my diagnosis was. She listened carefully, said that I did good research but wanted to offer a different opinion. She explained how she arrived at her conclusion and it turned out that she was correct. The other doctors that I spoke with didn't bother to question my opinion and I wasted a lot of time and money, as a result. Again, I would recommend her without hesitation.

I met Rosemary, January 2017 and it was the best decision I have ever made…read more I wasn't happy, even thou I had a great husband, healthy 2 year old boy and a successful career. It wasn't just " not being happy", I had lost my confidence and my self worth. In the last 5 years a had lost my mom of a massive heart attack, my husband survived an intense brain surgery, a miscarriage and on my second cycle of anti depressants. You can add post partum depression as well. A lot for anyone to handle and to much of a burden to put on someone else's shoulder. I had gained weight that I had lost before my pregnancy and was on track of obesity, again. Something I had been battling since my teenage years. My emotions were all over the place. I felt guilt and shame over my blessed life. My poor husband and friends couldn't even support me because I wasn't approachable and my leadership skills at work were suffering. Rosemary was the person that opened my mind to the reality that my "thoughts " were just that. Passing thoughts. She introduced cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and meditation. She is very emotionally intelligent and within just a few sessions she made me realized that my low self esteem was the root of my rattling thoughts and disease to please. I was committed to our sessions and followed her suggestions and read her recommendations. I am proud to say that Rosemary has supported me thru this journey of Loving Myself. I am Living my Best Life. My emotions are balanced and I know how to have Compassion for myself on the days that they might not be. This too shall pass and before you know it being mindful of my emotions let's me overcome any negative emotions and thoughts. I am proud to say that I have overcome my weight issues. Not because I lost weight, because Rosemary supported my changing mindset about food and the influence it had emotionally and physically. My husband and I's relationship is better then ever. I can support him emotionally while staying mindful of his needs and mine. I am able to be present for my son and enjoy being with him. That was not the case before. I will forever be grateful for Rosemary. She has opened my mind to love myself and that I am enough and it shines thru to everyone I encounter. She is my favorite conversation to have monthly. Thank you Rosemary

I met Rosemary over the summer of 2016; the summer I knew I would eventually be getting a divorce…read more I was completely lost, unsure, scared, and among other things, very insecure. However, I knew from the moment I left my first appointment that everything would be ok - Rosemary provided me with a sense of comfort I didn't get anywhere else. She gave me the strength to take steps I never thought I could, and worked with me when I was hesitant to jump. In a way, Rosemary held my hand through the entire process. Checking in with me between visits, celebrating my successes, and not judging me when I failed. She is patient, caring, supportive, and someone I very much look up to and trust. I am proud to say that because of her I am living my absolute best life. That's not to say people never have bad days, however she has taught me valuable lessons on coping with anxiety and since then I no longer need any medications. If I could give her 1000 stars I would, as this woman has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. I truly believe people are put into your life at the right time and I am so thankful that it was her. I will forever value our relationship and consider her my friend. The doctors we choose can help make the transitions through this journey uncomplicated and positive. I would be doing a disservice to myself and to others if I didn't share my opinion about the excellent care and experience I have received from Dr. Cindy Parnes and her entire staff. As a relatively new patient, Dr. Parnes kindly accepted me where several other doctors rejected me as a new patient. Having concerns regarding menopause and feeling too young to accept these changes, Dr. Parnes kindly and professionally addressed my concerns and came up with an effective game plan changing the course of my unhappy situation into one that continues change for the better. We are all unique and different and Dr. Parnes certainly evaluates her patients with that in mind. Her strong confidence, knowledge, and kindness leaves me feeling like I received the latest in medical trends and feeling secure that I am in good hands and the recipient of excellent care. In addition, Dr. Parnes has referred me to Dr. Nirman Tulsyan, a board-certified vascular surgeon. Along with age, menopause, teaching for 31 years, and working out with heavy weights, ugly spider veins became another concern that I didn't want to live with. Dr. Parnes was so enthusiastic to inform me that I did not have to and that insurance would most likely cover the procedure after an ultrasound was preformed. After meeting Dr. Tulsyan who traveled to the Montvale, NJ office to discuss my vein situation I eagerly signed up for the procedure continuing my quest for excellence and striving for total well being. Dr. Tulsyan's calming nature creates an excellent environment for those of us who can be a little apprehensive with the unknown. His excellent listening skills and approachable personality as well as his excellent team performed this procedure on me four times and each time I was confident knowing I was safe and well taken care of. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be treated by these exceptional doctors.

At a time when almost all therapists refused to see patients in-person during the early months of the pandemic, Kristen was so accommodating to provide both in-person and virtual sessions, whichever worked better for our family any time our daughter needed therapy. Kristen is extremely patient with the kids and is a great listener. She always came up with bright ideas to address any concerns we had with our defiant child, and always made sure to follow up with us to assure we were making progress with regards to the treatment for that concern. In total we had almost 40 sessions over a 20-month period, and we are more than happy for every minute and every penny we spent on the therapy sessions! I definitely recommend Kristen Estrella and the Lukin team to anyone in the Ridgewood/Bergen County area who is in need of a fantastic therapist for their child!
