I started with one therapist who left his practice 2 weeks after starting so I was given to another who 3 weeks after meeting with left the practice and then I met with Dr. Legg who claimed he has a "bad stomach" and never came back or had the decency to call and apologize. I guess he didn't like that I questioned his practice. Granted this was several years ago but I have been sitting with it for sometime and only now decided to write a review.

He was quick to teach me, that I should not dismiss my anxiety, but embrace it. Just because some things I am doing are successful at the moment, does not mean they will always be. I should not be so hard on myself. Dr Reiner taught me that the ability to both accept and deflect criticism is a very valuable skill, a technique he applies to himself when working through his negative Yelp reviews. But as we both agreed, these types of things are easier said than done. Even though he hasn't replied publicly to any of his haters on Yelp, I got the sense that he has acknowledged these issues and is working to try to better himself. In a way, he almost took pride in accepting negative reviews. And I guess you could say, in this case Yelp is the therapist's therapist.

I looked very carefully and found Ms. Natalya Meyerson for psychiatric medication management and therapy. She is above and beyond my expectations. She has been published and mentioned several times in Psychiatry and Psycology Today. She is available in person ( my first session ) and conveniently on zoom through video ( follow- up sessions ) . She is empathetic towards her patients , very professional, extremely educated, trustworthy, confidential and readily available for psychiatric medication management. It took me quite some time to find her. I'm very pleased with her services and admire her as my practitioner and provider. I went through quite a large amount of providers through zocdoc until I selected care with Ms. Natalya Meyerson. I'm very fortunate and grateful. Basically to sum it up " No right treatment is right for everyone in psychiatric and psychology but this provider Ms. Natalya Meyerson's care is 100% accurate" in my opinion!

I was hoping to have Dr Sam because of all her raving reviews, but I could not afford her, plus she is in high demand; I was offered to go with Dina instead and decided to giver her a try. The few sessions that I had with Dina really helped me reframe my anxieties and review my priorities to help me get out of the rut I was in. Just even talking to her was helping me put order in my thoughts, thanks to the questions she was asking about why or how i had this or that feeling. After a while though, she and I had worked so well that I was able to do the work on my own. It felt more than hanging out with a friend and albeit super nice, it was getting a little pricey! Although I had less than 10 sessions with her, they really helped me and I would recommend her warmly to anyone who'd need help and support in trying times.
