Amanda responded to our inquiry and was so kind that we felt good about the choice of Foxxy Pet Resort. Finding the place was a little challenging but nothing GPS couldn't handle. Upon turning over our dog, Chase, she immediately welcomed him and made him feel secure and then she gave us a flyer with a back story about the business. We read it and learned that the service Amanda provides is a tribute to her late 13 year old son whose health struggles were eased by the companionship of his Boston Terrier, Grimm. We were very touched by this example of the beauty of a mother's love for her child and a child's love for his dog. Turning pain to something good is an act of faith and grace. During the day we received pictures from Amanda that reassured us that Chase was doing well and was in good hands. That was above and beyond and something only a fellow dog lover would understand would be appreciated. The second time was top of his Entire nose "completely" RAW & he didn't act right when we picked him up. He was up front with her, he heard our voices & never responded, we thought she still had to go get him from back. Idk what happened but he will NEVER go there again. & She wasn't explainative of the damage to his nose either. If he was butting his nose against cage why not but something in there to soften it? Clearly could see he was doing harm to himself, I mean who can let that just continue KNOWING it? It's someone who Clearly DOES NOT CARE
