We expressed interest in a property to Mia directly, but then received a call from an assistant. I had to ask them to have Mia call us to confirm that they were in fact who they were stating. The assistant was late arriving at the property, and did not give us a courtesy call to let us know. We had to call her to make sure she was coming. There are numerous other inconsistencies in what was communicated to us about their process that I won't go into. We specifically asked if the credit check would be a "soft" or "hard" inquiry. To which the assistant replied, "what is that? I've never even heard of that." WE then explained to her the difference between the two, and asked her to get back to us with an answer. She informed us that it would be a "soft credit" pull. 2 days later we check our credits reports only to find a hard inquiry. Mia and her team tried to back-peddle, and even made up a story of speaking to us saying she told us, "she was not sure if it was a hard or soft inquiry, but she believe it was a soft inquiry". IN FACT, she never spoke to either of us about this. We only spoke to the assistant. After getting her to admit we never spoke about this item, I then asked her to provide a "letter of removal" for us to submit to TransUnion to remove the inquiry from our credit reports. I explained that I would need her to mail them to me because we would require the original copies, not just the scanned copies she sent me. All I received was a reply stating, "I have done all I intend t do here. Enough time has been wasted by all." Mind you... we have already paid the application fee of $55, but we decided to not move forward with the property because we didn't feel comfortable dealing with her and her team. Even after lying about her mistake and being called out on it... she still persisted to be worst professional we dealt with in the Houston Real Estate Market.

I was at a starbucks and overheard Laura with a client, I loved the way she interacted and let the client run the show (this person was considering selling.) I asked for her card, talked with her on the phone and KNEW she was right for me! She helped me find the exact home I wanted! I was originally looking for a possible older home because I didn't like floor plans in new ones, but she found me EXACTLY what I wanted, and streamlined the process of finding our first home!

Since we had reached out to another realtor through my sister realtor in Denver, who left us flat, I was concerned about another realtor being able to be available, not only to show me the homes but keep my sister in the loop on all the properities we were reviewing. She immediatly put "our" minds at ease. She hit the ground running and continued to provide current information to my sister and me. Checking in daily as things became available and changes in homes we had previewed. By the time my sister arrived (one week later) to look at the homes the perfect home was on the list and purchased. Laura's professionalism and knowledge of the processes to handle all the issues, proved to be one of the best I have ever seen. In fact, she would contact us on an issue and already have a soluation in the works. That transaction was 4 years ago. We again are in need of Laura outstanding services. With the sale of the above mention property, which sold in one day with multiple offers, there will be the sale of my home and purchase of a "new" home being built. We are only part way through the process but again Laura is on top of all the issues. She is an amazing realtor to work with, Always keeping your needs at the top of the list. I expect to be just as pleased with her expertise and professionalism and I was 4 years ago.
