Waste of time, 3 of…read moremy 6 visits I had to turn around and leave because of their incompetence to be organized. - 1st time I had to leave because they messed up by scheduling my appointment during there office meeting. - 2nd time I had to leave again because they haven't explained clearly what the process was. - 3rd time I arrived 10 min before my appointment but waited 30 minutes and leave because they hadn't followed up on my insurance authorization for at least a month, which was already in my portal, but because they were unorganized they waited till the morning of the appointment to look for it. Then they had to call the insurance company for verbal authorization, which delayed everything, then they tell me I have to wait since there is few others in front of me. Oh they tried to contact me, checked my messages, they had left a message while I was on my way driving to the office. The receptionist is a sweetheart, polite and professional, but this other individual (unfortunately I don't have her name, the person that calls your name and takes you the private rooms) as rude and most unprofessional person that I have ever dealt with in my life, doesn't show any care towards the patients. 3 time I had to deal with her and every time she was rude, gives vague answers never explaining any of my questions completely. I always have to ask the others hoping they have the answers. I have asked to speak to the office manager but every time the answer is "Not in the office". I asked to reschedule because they were the one's that dropped the ball on being prepared with my info but I'm told I have to wait till mid September LOL This type of care or service should never occured in a doctor's office, I have visited many other doctors offices since I'm 62 years old, but never ever ever as horrible as this. i have more to type but I'll stop, I'm sure you got the message. Since you have waisted my day and my time many times, 3 to be exact I believe I should ask to be compensated for it. But then again, looking at your reviews, it's pretty normal for your office.

Dr. Jacob Offenberger is honestly pretty amazing and his practice is a rarity in the medical world…read more He's a truly skilled, INTUITIVE, and compassionate doctor who loves and excels at his craft as well as helping patients. He respects tradition and has a generally old school approach, yet is completely able to think outside of the box. Where other doctors see a "yep, that's above my pay grade", he sees a challenge to be tackled, thoroughly investigated and resolved efficiently. His bedside manners are also great once you get to know him a bit. I think he is an ENTJ enneagram 2 for reference; we need more doctors like him :) His staff is also incredibly patient, competent, and sweet --his practice is truly dedicated to improving lives. The np supervisor, Danielle is so kind and efficient in her work despite the high volume of patients. She's been so helpful and always manages to squeeze me in when I'm in a pinch. Do not let the no-frills decor and his gruff, straight-shooting demeanor intimidate you. Dr. Offenberger has provided excellent care for my very complex case. He's restored my trust in medicine to a marked degree.

Always got positive feedback. My appointment was 10:30am this morning. I arrived early to fill out paperwork. Receptionist was efficient & pleasant. I was called in at 10:40am. I was shown room & asked few extra questions. The Dr came in. Said "Hello, how are you?" After I said "Fine " he asked why was I there? I showed him Allergy Blood test results and recent blood test that had an allergy marker. Then said I'd been having headache on left side head, He immediately assured me wasn't due to allergy were migraines. "Allergies can trigger migraines but are not the cause" Said if I hadn't had any histamines for a week he'd do prick test which is more reliable than the blood test. Nurse came in and gave me prick test on both arms. She was nice & good at explaining. Said it'd take 20 minutes & I'd go home with results. 10 min after being pricked the Dr came in checked my arms and said "good. 10 more minutes" Exactly 10 minutes later nurse came in and put antihistamine cream on the pricked areas. dr came in & said results were good news. Nothing major. Small reaction to dust mites. Foods all negative. Could eat anything I wanted. Only needed to take Zyrtec when Santa Ana's kick in. Gave me prescription. Smiled , shook my hand & left. Like this guy! He is direct no nonsense efficient. From my experience I don't think he deserves the negative reviews. I'd definitely go back again. Btw, is older medical bldg on corner of San Jose & Balboa (with a light.) Plenty Parking in back lot. $4 ( credit card pay only) for the hour I was there. Elevator to 3rd floor. First, it was extremely difficult to even get someone on the phone. I called multiple times, the voicemail box was full, and no one answered until I selected the Spanish line. When someone finally answered, the receptionist, Bri, immediately seemed dismissive after I mentioned my daughter has LA Care Direct/Medi-Cal. I explained that my doctor's office had already faxed over the authorization and records, but she repeatedly told me she could not help me without additional information and made no effort to look into the fax the first time I called. After I contacted my doctor's office again, they confirmed everything had already been sent and that the office should have been able to look me up using the authorization number alone. When I called back, Bri then changed the explanation and stated that faxes are only checked at the end of the day and told me to call back tomorrow. This information could have been communicated from the beginning instead of making me feel brushed off and unwelcome. What bothered me most was the attitude and lack of professionalism. As a new patient, I expected basic courtesy and willingness to help, not sarcasm or dismissive behavior. Patients should not feel judged based on their insurance, and front office staff should understand that customer service matters just as much as medical care.
