It's one thing for a cosmetic artist to be very skilled and talented in their work...it's another when that stylist also has a knack for teaching clients and being a source of reliable information regarding proper hair care. I left Cheryls chair not only with a fabulous haircut that flatters my face and hair type but I also know more about how to care for my mane than I ever knew before. I have done it all to my hair....it's been long it's been short, it's been all sorts of colors. Some intentional and some not lol...I thought I knew what was up but what I didn't know was that without the information Cheryl gave me yesterday - I was not able to fully gain the benefits of all of my previous hair escapades because I was not giving my hair the proper care on the home front. I was damaging my own hair with flawed brushing techniques and I was even using the incorrect brush for my hair type, she taught me how to baby step up to not washing my hair but once or twice a week to preserve the hair cuticle....I had never known correct washing needs for my type of hair...
