I was hoping to get some radishes and some mint here, but I only saw some fruit and a few veggie items. They didn't look so great and it wasn't a huge selection unfortunately. The owner wasn't the friendliest or warmest, but was nice enough to tell me that there was another store just north on Ryan Road that might have more pita pockets. I need more for the party I have later today. They at least had plenty of Lebanon and a variety of different kinds too. I also grabbed a bag of regular pita as well, not the fresh kind from today though. It was $12.46 for three containers of Lebanon nine pita pockets and one bag of pita.

I drove into the parking lot, watching out for potholes and crazy drivers, parked, and walked in. The cashier was very nice! She was extremely helpful and recommended I try some things out. My goal was strictly for some cashews (which they have), but I also got a bag full of this snack mix, which is very addictive (the large bag slightly off to the right when you walk in). Got kids? Get them hooked on this stuff instead of candy. It's a bit salty, but chock full of nuts and seeds. There is quite a bit of bulk items, something I wish I could see more of in other grocery stores. There is also a selection of hookahs and shisha for those who appreciate a smooth smoke. As far as the bakery part goes, I wasn't so interested in that part, although I hear that it is in fact a functional bakery. In all, if you're looking for Middle Eastern groceries, snacks, or candy, this is the place to go. Support local grocers! I'll definitely be back.

The restaurant itself has a relatively small foot print where the tables are close together and where there are no frills about this place and definately a tad on the rustic side. Facility aside, this place makes some excellent authentic Mexican street tacos where my El Pastor and Asada taco's were well made, PACKED with meat (no scrimping here) and oh so tasty. Service is quite quick where once seated you get your food within a few minutes making this an excellent spot if you are on the run and looking for a good meal on the quick. Prices are cheap in my opinion where my three taco's and a coke came to just $12. NICE! Two things to note here is that the chips and salsa are not gratis but come at an extra cost and follow up once you get food was non existent in my case. Chips and salsa was not a big deal to me but lack of follow up prevented this business from getting a fifth star. Overall and my minor gripes aside, if you are fan of really good Mexican street taco's than this is a must visit if you are in the area! I wish this business was closer to my home in West Bloomfield as I would be a regular here for sure!

It used to be they provide chips and salsa as appetizers but since inflation is up ... you have to order separately. I've tried other taco places and I keep wondering why we always come back here ... maybe because it is more convenient. Ordered chorizo soft tacos with cheese and chicken enchiladas ... no substitute... flavor is bland so just add the red or green hot sauce. Kind of rude to hear the workers speak in Spanish. I will have to go somewhere else. Food is bland and the service today is terrible.

On the restaurant side - we got waited on by a very attentive and polite waiter who explained the menu items in great detail. I have to say that the selection is interesting - some unexpected combinations of ingredient on the assortment of sandwiches. I had a hard time picking just one. We finally settled on "fig and pig" and salmon croissant. Both didn't disappoint! Croissant came with a copious amount of smoked salmon over a jam spread. I wouldn't think about such pairing- but it worked! Fig and pig entailed bacon over a goat cheese spread and jam. Another great one. I'm intrigued and will make another trip to try other offerings. The store side had a good selection of wine, deli meats, large selection of cheese and gourmet selections of chocolate. When I say gourmet I'm talking flavors I've not heard of before- like mushroom, and much more. And not cheap (so must be good?? ). I'd like to return when I have more time and explore the store some more.
