The front desk is so easy to deal with, all of the assistants and technicians are friendly and fun, especially with my children! And the doctor is very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of my questions. My father is a dentist and it was a very tough decision for me to seek out a dentist to take on me and my family now that he is retired. I'm very happy that my choice was Prime Dental.

I had an appointment at Prime Dental approximately one week ago during which I received concerning…read morenews and was presented with a treatment plan. This plan involves completing part of the procedure at your facility, part at Niva Dental, and then returning to Prime Dental for the final crown placement. In order to understand the total cost, I contacted Niva Dental directly to obtain their pricing, which required more time than expected. After receiving that information, I followed up with Prime Dental by email to confirm the full treatment plan and associated costs so I could ensure I had an accurate understanding before moving forward. I only wanted a temporary removable retainer, also called a flipper, to use for approximately four months following extraction. This would serve as a short-term solution until I am able to receive the implant and permanent crown that would allow me to chew normally again, without having to take anything out when I wanted to eat. Unfortunately, it appears there has been significant miscommunication. During my phone conversation with your staff, I clearly explained multiple times that I was referring specifically to a temporary flipper for this short-term period before proceeding with the implant and final crown placement at Prime Dental. I repeated this to ensure clarity, but it now seems we were not aligned. Yesterday, I was informed informally and not through official communication that the cost of the crown alone would be one thousand dollars more than what I had previously documented. This discrepancy is concerning and has made it difficult to have confidence in the information provided. I am also disappointed with the lack of follow-through in communication from Prime Dental. I sent an email on Wednesday and did not receive a response. After calling, I was told I would receive an email within an hour, which never arrived. I called again Thursday morning and was given the same assurance. When I followed up again later that afternoon, I spoke with another staff member who also confirmed they would send a written breakdown of costs. As of Friday, I have still not received any follow-up. By comparison, when I sought a second opinion at another dental office, I received a detailed quote during the visit, excluding the crown. After emailing them the following morning, they responded within an hour and provided the crown pricing shortly thereafter. The difference in communication and efficiency has been very clear between Prime Dental and the other office I sought the second opinion from. Even their Niva referral was better at communicating by email, phone, and text. At this point, it feels like there are too many people involved in relaying information, which is leading to inconsistent details and a "telephone game" effect. I would have appreciated a clear written breakdown of the full treatment plan and all associated costs from a single reliable source, especially given how difficult it has been to obtain written confirmation and a proper quote. Because of all of this that I wrote above, I have decided to let the other dental office do the work. I was simply trying to make informed decisions about my care, and clear, timely communication is essential in that process. Prime Dental has not demonstrated reliable follow-through or respect for patients' time. When commitments are made (saying you will do something, then you don't, again, and again, and again), they should be honored. As for my original visit, I liked the Dentist and her dental assistant. That is all. If I could rate them separately, I would. I received two different experiences.

I've been a patient for almost two years, and my teeth honestly feel like they're at their absolute best. As an avid coffee drinker, having white teeth matters to me--and their Zoom whitening service is AMAZING. The results are noticeable and long-lasting, and the process was comfortable and professional from start to finish. Their sweet RDA, Sara, was incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough!! What really sets this office apart is how attentive and proactive they are. During my last cleaning with Jordan (who is an extraordinary hygienist, btw,) I mentioned that I had recently learned I have sleep apnea and that a C-PAP machine wasn't a good fit for me. Dr. Ardita Ormeni took the time to listen and then created a custom oral appliance to help me sleep better--life-changing care that goes well beyond routine dentistry. The entire staff is friendly, personable, and genuinely caring. The office is beautiful, spotless, and equipped with modern, up-to-date technology, which makes every visit comfortable and reassuring. If you're looking for exceptional dental care, a warm and welcoming team, and truly personalized treatment, I highly recommend Park Family Dental. For example, last year I had a Crown inserted and after i had some pain. I went back and she had to even my bite out and the pain left. She didn't charge me for the follow-up plus scheduled another follow-up in case it didn't alleviate the problem. The staff are very nice and considerate to your apprehensiveness to visit a dentist. They offer you bottled water or coffee as you enter. They also greet you with the name you wish to be called. They also work with your insurance provider the best they can and go over costs before starting. I sort of hate the xray part when they put the shield in your mouth. But Beto the xray tech goes slow and tries to allieviate your uncomfortableness. The hygentists that work with Dr. Cua are friendly and are caring. Helping you setup the TV to watch and listen to while they work away. Also giving you a pillow and leg rest if you want. They work well with Dr. Cua as scrapes off the plaque and calcium build-up. Keeping your mouth rinsed and clean. They then polish after Dr. Cua finishes. Although I don't love visiting the dentist. I do love my experience at Perch Dentistry with Dr. Cua and her staff. By the way I had no cavities on this visit and my gums are looking much healthier! I recently visited this office for a routine cleaning, which itself was fine, but the experience…read morethat followed left a much stronger impression--and not in a good way. After the exam, I was informed that I needed several cavities addressed. That part wasn't surprising. What was surprising was the financial process that followed. The conversation felt less like a healthcare discussion and more like sitting across from a finance manager at a car dealership--focused heavily on cost breakdowns and payment structure rather than care. The most concerning part: I was told I needed to pay a $100 deposit just to schedule the procedure. While I understand deposits in certain contexts, this felt out of place in a healthcare setting. Patients are already committing to treatment and cost--adding a pay-to-book requirement creates an unnecessary barrier and, frankly, erodes trust. Yes, the deposit is applied toward the final bill, but that doesn't change the principle. Patients shouldn't feel like they're paying for access to care. Healthcare--especially dentistry--relies on trust, transparency, and patient-first thinking. This experience leaned too far in the direction of financial policy over patient care. If you're exploring dental providers, I'd encourage you to ask upfront about payment practices and find an office whose approach aligns with your expectations. There are plenty of great providers out there who prioritize patient experience alongside clinical care. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them.

STOP. READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT…read more TL;DR: Incompetent billing department turned a common $250 out-of-pocket procedure into a $1,000+ financial headache. They will lie to get you off the phone, then ghost you completely. Zero accountability or care for supporting patients financially through proper claim filing, even when you handle-hold them to what needs to be submitted to insurance. I'm writing this review to warn others about the incompetence I've experienced with this dental office's insurance handling. What should have been a straightforward scaling and root planing procedure in January 2025 has turned into a year-long ordeal that's now costing me an additional $800 out of pocket; money I shouldn't owe if they had done their job correctly or followed up when I did their work for them. The Timeline of Incompetence: January 2025: I had scaling and root planing done. Paid $248 out of pocket at the time of service. The office led me to believe this would be pre-authorized with my insurance. It wasn't. July 2025: My claim was denied by BCBS Dental due to insufficient documentation/justification from the dental office. Then the resubmission was also denied. According to BCBS, the office apparently just copy-pasted some generic justification on the resubmission without providing the actual clinical details required. I was not notified of either denial by the dental office. Here's what makes this inexcusable: This is a common procedure. The office literally wrote a blog post about it (https://www.leanderdental.com/blog/deep-cleaning/) and emailed their entire patient list promoting it in the middle of last year. I've even had this exact procedure done successfully with a previous dentist who had zero issues getting insurance to cover it. Yet somehow, this office couldn't figure out how to document it properly? The worst part? They never told me about any of this or my increased financial responsibility. August 2025: I only discovered the problem when I started receiving monthly statements for $791.86. When I called, Christina in the front office claimed they were "waiting on a decision for the resubmitted claim." So I called BCBS myself and learned the claim had already been denied a month earlier. I had to do their job for them. BCBS gave me detailed guidance on exactly what documentation was needed: pocket depths, bone loss measurements, crestal bone level greater than 2 mm apical to the CEJ, radiographic evidence, etc. I called the office back within an hour with these specific instructions. Christina assured me they would coordinate with my hygienist and resubmit with the proper clinical details. I was advised to ignore the statements for the time, as the claim would be re-submitted with greater supporting narrative / details. That never happened. The Final Insult: January 2026: Over ONE YEAR after my procedure, Zarika from the office finally called about my outstanding $700+ balance. She informed me they had resubmitted "as a courtesy" the one time and would not be submitting again. This directly contradicted Christina's promise. I explained the entire situation and referenced my previous conversation. Zarika said Christina would call me back within an hour. I never heard from them. I followed up with an email to the office, but never heard back by email either. The office will make promises to defuse an uncomfortable phone call, but won't do the work to actually follow up on the patient's requests/needs. They don't seem to care that a $250 out-of-pocket procedure becomes over $1000 out-of-pocket, despite the patient explaining to the billing department EXACTLY how to avoid that, per insurance. What This Means: Either this dentist performed dental work that wasn't medically necessary (unlikely), or - more probably - the front office/billing department is either too lazy or too inexperienced to file insurance claims correctly. This office failed at every single step: * No pre-authorization despite implying there would be for an expensive procedure * No proactive communication when the claim was denied (twice) * No proper follow-up / claim resubmission even when I communicated to them the exact documentation requirements * Conflicting information between staff members * Broken promises about callbacks * Zero accountability I'm now stuck with an $800 bill because they couldn't be bothered to document a routine procedure properly, communicate honestly about my claim status, or follow through on their promises. Thankfully, I proactively cancelled my other appointments with the office for ongoing dental procedures, pending a successful resolution to this issue, which didn't happen. So I saved myself additional headaches and high out-of-pocket costs. Find a dental office that actually knows how to handle insurance claims professionally and treats their patients with basic respect. If you've made it this far: Please give a Thanks reaction if you've had a similar experience.
