The last time I went in to sell, it did take a few minutes to get an employees attention to check my items in, but it wasn't a super big deal. I'm sure as time goes on and they're able to get more staff on, they'll be just as awesome as the location in Castleton. I'll definitely be back soon. I've been a regular at their other location for a few years and I'm glad to see them expanding (and opening up a place closer to where I live).

They have a lot of old games for NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. All kinds of systems too, I think I saw an Atari Lynx in there one day! WTF! The place is loaded with DVDs. The east washington store has the best selection from what I've seen. I stumbled upon the Antoine Doinel Criterion Collection box set there a while back for sixty bucks and it was in perfect condition. All of the DVDs and CDs that I've bought there have been in pristine condition. The only bad thing to say about the place is that it's PURE EVIL. Your wallet WILL leave lighter than when it came in.

In my last review, I think I complained about being a tired mom with macaroni and cheese stains on my pants. Well, nine years later, I'm still a mom but fortunately less tired, the stains on my pants are from red wine and vegan tzatziki, and the kids I made macaroni and cheese for have grown up and are very interested in music. And they ask me to take them to Luna Music. I'm always happy to oblige. My oldest kid love Luna Music because he can find albums for the bands that he listens to. Bands and artists that are not on my radar at all (Blood Orange? Anyone, anyone? Bueller?), but he loves them, and it makes him happy to find them here in vinyl. Luna has a lot of new music on vinyl. This is the place to visit in Indianapolis if you're looking for any kind of new music. They are on top of it. In fact, I subscribe to their weekly newsletter just to keep abreast of the new music that drops every week. Luna Music keeps me young and able to relate to my children, who have astounding musical taste for their age. Luna skews toward records, but they also have a smaller selection of used CDs, as well as a collection of used cassette tapes that are smaller still. You can also find zines, local artwork, greeting cards, record players and other fun things. The people who work here are super friendly and not at all snobby. There are no Jack-Black-from-High-Fidelity people here!

There were alot of books to choose from. we were all able to find something . After which we went in to take a look around. They had a wonderful selection of childrens books, rare books as well. Its a medium sized spot but they fit a childrens corner in. I was pleased to find vintage Richie Rich and Sugar and Spike comic books for 1.00. This was certainly a wonderful place to stumble upon which had alot of gems inside. The vintage type writers were a really cool touch as well. Everything about this place was inviting and warm. At the cash register I came across an assortment of stickers and if you know me, you know I love stickers..Of course I grabbed a couple to complete my purchase. There is a space right by the door that has a sitting area, the leather chair was so comfortable but it was thw huge leather ottoman for me and the chess set that makes you wanna learn to play, if you do t already no how too. Excellent locally owned vinyl and book store with a very large selection in spite of its small…read moresize. They have a bit of everything including first editions, vintage magazines, children's books, tarot and oracle decks, jewelry, local art, and books by local authors. The owner was warm and engaging, and wrote some recommendations for me based on what I'd purchased. It's out of the way for me, but I'll make a conscious effort to come back. It's a charming town east of downtown Indy and it's full of great places. Irvington vinyl and books is one of them. They are tucked into a quite street next to the gamer store, the front part has different selections of books and I the selection is vast, there's new, old, young adult, and Indy mags. The back part holds all the records and cassettes, the selection is also very broad, so there is something for everyone. Visit this store if you can, you'll find something to take home and support something small and independent. Look out for the cute store cat as well!

I have responded to ALL director's suggestions with the exception of three.....I was unable to log-in to "decline". This was due to errors at COLUMBIA HOUSE. That were acknowledged by your customer support team because members were unable to log in. So, now I've"ve got three movie that I never ordered that I was unable to log-in to decline. I sent them back to you and you "Refused and returned back to sender" This is the worst customer service I have encountered. I have fulfilled all of my membership responsibilities and because of your errors I was unable to log in to decline some directors' picks. If you were any kind of reputable company, you would take back these movies and credit my acct. Refusing them? This is how you treat your customers? Shame Shame! I am pretty sure this is why people only stick around long enough to fulfill their obligations to you and then they leave. Being that my membership obligations have been fulfilled, please end my relationship with Columbia house. I no longer wish to do business with you. Do not send me directors' picks. Please close my acct. I am not paying for these three movies....so if you need to send your customers to collections because you will not accept these movies back.....Shame on you for your shady business ethics. They resolved my issue. Columbia House Credited my acct back the money they charged me for the movies I did not order and closed my acct as requested. I feel like they still only get 2 stars for the way they initially wanted to handle their loyal customers.....However, they redeemed 1 star because of the final outcome. In the end, after I threw a fit....they resolved my issue in the manner they should have in the first place. As for the BBB....I give them 10 stars!!!!

Been at World half a dozen times since I've moved here and always seem to leave with a record I…read morenever wanted. The owner seals the record and then grades it with a sticker on the bag. You can't look at the vinyl at all. So weird, like the stuff in there is rare. It's not! And Our opinions of what's NM are pretty far apart. The guy is nice enough, and we always seem to chit chat about the grand old days of collecting which I appreciate. But what is just nuts,!this last time in, a couple boxes of records were on the ground and low and behold, it looks like some good stuff. Blue Note re from the mid 70's. Frank Zappa. When I started digging he stopped me and said they weren't for sale and have been around for 10'years. They weren't his personal collection, he just had no interest in pricing or selling them. There's always been at least one employee that will geek out with us about our favorite characters. I recently purchased a Coraline doll for my youngest from The Toy Pit, and she was so thrilled. She's carried her everywhere for the last week. Their Barbie collection is pretty impressive. You can also find Labubu and My Little Ponies from the 80's. There's always something new to check out.
