It's a great place in downtown Martin with delicious fresh ground coffee, as well as appealing menus for both a quick breakfast or lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and prices were competitive. The place has an upscale finish, but an extremely comfortable and casual vibe. Looks like a great place to meet friends, get a little quiet laptop work done, or just chill. We met and visited with the owner briefly and it's clear that his vision for Martin's will be successful. We highly recommend Martin's - Coffee & Bakery in Martin, Tennessee.

I had the most pleasant experience with an employee there. If memory serves me right, I believe her nametag said "Piper". We both shared that we were full-time students at MSU. She was kind enough to ask me how my morning was starting and wished me a good day. I don't feel like this type of service is as typical anymore. Anyway, She was lovely and I believe my coffee tasted better after she made it. I would typically visit Starbucks down the street on the way to class, but thinking i'll reconsider following this experience! Just wanted to take a second to recognize this service, as I also work in the hospitality industry! Thanks again.

Depending on what staff is working also determines your wait time. Tracy and Paige are absolute pleasures of humans, but even the best staff can lead to a thirty minute drive thru time. Today, we waited an hour for two drinks and a muffin. Again, I love it here, have studied here, know the staff well and wouldn't go anywhere else in Murray for coffee. You just sometimes get a messed up order, a messed up drink, or an infuriating wait time. Very cute atmosphere and reasonable prices for drinks. Food is pretty expensive.

It kind of tasted like burned sunflower seeds. The cappuccino was also underwhelming, with poor milk texture and an overall unpleasant flavor. No soap dispenser in the bathroom or any sign of soap at all was also concerning.

More on my opinion on the latte in a minute. The bakery is in another room and they had a large variety of pastries that are prepared in the building. I ordered an Apple fritter, a chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing. My wife ordered a sour cream donut plus a lemon blueberry muffin. The Apple fritter was delicious with nice chunks of apple. One of the best I've ever had. So, after a bite of it, I gave my wife the caramel latte and ordered a black coffee. The sweetness of the fritter with the latte simply doesn't mix well IMO. The drink I had of the latte was really good but of course, I preferred a black coffee with the fritter. My wife loved the sour cream donut and thought it was better than our local donut shop we frequent that has her favorite sour cream donut. We saved the other two for the next day. So, no reviews for those two. This is a great local coffee shop with great products, great variety, and fantastic customer service.
