Individually hung swing chairs on the edge of the perfectly manicured green tiled pool with a great view of the bay. We arrived a bit earlier than the bartender, but they opened the bar for us early and we proceeded to spend the day in luxury with friendly service and maximum convenience. Partially shaded and partial sun. We ordered cold beer and shots; wings, conch fritters and the like. The conch fritters came with a sweet chili sauce and a creamy zesty mayonnaise sauce. Perfectly fried and prepared. The wings had the same sweet chili sauce and were a perfect tangy snack for our beer drenched tongues. The pool water was a perfect temperature and the staff was relentlessly accommodating. If you're in St Thomas looking for a perfect way to waste a day, climb the steep hill and stairs and make your way to the sweet paradise we have enjoyed today.

But they were equally excellent! Sliced flank steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the buns soft&fresh. Having their platter service upon arrival was an ideal choice after traveling 8 hours! Took the stress out of searching for a restaurant or going to the market after an exhausting day of travel! A couple days later we had the privilege of Chef Colin coming to our villa to prepare a 4 course dinner for us. Other than a couple suggestions from us, we pretty much left the menu selection up to him. And once again, spot on DEElicious! Ceviche, lobster bisque, and a local fresh fish entree! Finished off with a vanilla bean cheesecake with a tropical fruit glaze had us licking our plates! All served most graciously and attentively by the lovely Sarah. Such a sweetheart! Colin was most professional, yet had a very hip&cool vibe. They chatted with us throughout our whole meal, which we loved! Additionally Colin&Sarah gave us several island tips which we found MOST helpful! Thank you! Island Edge Culinary has an extensive menu of food&drink options and are extremely flexible, so there's something for everyone! Wonderful pool and hot tub areas, crystal clear ocean waters, great food, a little shopping, and plenty of excursions available if you wanted them, or do nothing if that's what you prefer. There are 3 restaurants on island as well as the Outpost which serves coffee, pizza and sandwiches, along with made to order breakfast sandwiches in the morning. There are pre made salads and fruit bowls for purchase as well. I loved the pizza (try the jerk chicken pizza)! There were some minor issues: staff friendliness was hit or miss per day. It seemed the longer we were there, the warmer our greetings. The room was perfect for us, complete with kitchen, sitting area, washer/dryer and a huge balcony that I spent many hours reading on and just looking at the view. Inside we had a couple small issues: the curtains were very hard to pull to the side to let the light in, and one of the balcony doors was very hard to shut! But overall? I would stay here again anytime! I visited the spa for a treatment (you can request a ride up to the spa due to the steep uphill walk) which I did, but chose to walk down to take some photos from up above.
