It was her listing. She insisted that the owners did not smoke, but we found it strange why the place had plug-ins throughout, and wanted to make sure there were no other odors being masked. She was syrupy sweet and pleasant and said she could show it to us again. We also asked if she could show us 2 other available homes in that subdivision. She said she could not get access to them at that time, but would call us after she made the appointment. She never called! She had our phone number as she had been texting us, so we knew she was blowing us off. I am guessing she figured we were "picky" buyers and would sell her listing to another buyer, which she did a few days later. She had the opportunity to possibly sell us another property, but she did not care. She must be doing pretty good selling properties if she could blow off cash buying clients! She cannot be trusted and is not a good agent.

She is friendly and professional, but most importantly she is both a skilled seller's agent, and a thorough buyer's agent. Katherine is truly great at what she does, please allow me to share with you a few reasons why you should choose her to help you based on my personal experience working with her. At the beginning of 2020, Katherine both sold a home for us and also helped us buy our current home. She went out of her way to ensure our sale and our purchase went very smoothly. She took the time to show us several homes we were interested in, until we settled on one and made an offer. She made the sale of our last house and the purchase of our new one so much easier on us because we could trust that she was on top of all the paperwork and deadlines, as well as all the critical communication with other real estate agents, loan underwriters, home inspectors and everyone else involved in both buying and selling property. She is a skilled negotiator and her abilities in this area made us extra money in the sale of our last house, and also saved us money on the purchase of our new one. She made sure we were well informed all the way through closing on both properties, and even checked in with us beyond that to make sure we were completely satisfied with everything she had helped us with. She was never too busy to pick up her phone and answer any of our questions, and always took the time to explain things we didn't understand. If you are looking for an agent to help you buy or to help you sell, take our recommendation based on our personal experience with her, and contact Katherine Fender at #1 Properties.

#1 Properties was great to work with!…read more Codee Dalton is truly one of the best real estate agents I've ever worked with. From the very beginning, she stood out for being incredibly professional while also being personable and genuinely fun to be around. She has such a bright, friendly personality that immediately makes the entire experience enjoyable and uplifting. Codee is extremely knowledgeable about real estate and the process that goes along with it. Nearly every question we asked, she had an answer for right away. And in the rare case she didn't know something off the top of her head, she was always honest about it and would immediately go out of her way to find the answer by reaching out to the right professionals. That level of honesty and dedication builds a lot of trust. One of the things that makes Codee truly special is how comfortable she makes you feel. Within minutes of meeting her, it felt like we had known her for years. She has that rare ability to make people feel relaxed, welcomed, and supported--almost like you're working with a close friend or family member rather than just an agent. If you're looking for someone who is professional, knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely enjoyable to work with, I would highly recommend Codee Dalton. Steve did an excellent job helping me to purchase my first house…read more Because of my situation (I lived in Akiak Alaska prior to moving to Cheyenne Wyoming), we communicated a lot by e-mail over the course of a month before I was able to put feet on the ground in Cheyenne - when I did finally arrive, he had already put together an amazing list of houses that I might be interested in (based on our email conversations) and we added a few others to the list that had just come onto the market. Over the course of three days we hit the pavement hard and looked at 19 houses. Steve asked me questions that helped me (a first time buyer) figure out what I wanted in a house and in a neighborhood. When I finally settled on a house, he gave me as much help as I wanted in making my first offer and in the proceeding counter offers. Once the offer was accepted he set up all of the inspections, handled the negotiated repairs and I flew back home to get started on packing up. When it finally came to closing, he met me at the house to do my finally walk through, and he was there at the signing to help me review the final paperwork. In the end, I would recommend Steve Prescott without any hesitation. He did an awesome job for me, and when I am ready to sell, he will be my listing agent, and he will help me find my next place. He was never available for our open houses, meetings, or even our closing. When we addressed the issues with him he told us to "stop playing the victims" (paraphrase). We never felt like he was advocating for us as his client, but instead that he was just waiting for his paycheck, which we wish we could withhold, especially since we never saw him and only spoke with him if it was to have an argument. By far, working with Steve was the most difficult and stressful aspect of our cross country move. We would never recommend working with Steve, especially if you're looking for an agent who communicates, is responsive, and will advocate for your needs as their client.

I expressed my frustration to Rebecca and she was highly reactive. She entered my residence without permission. After she finally exited the premises, I of course shut the door in her face, and she proceeded to open it and yell more things at me. Pretty sure that's not a legal thing to do.
